A Climate Q&A with Grok AI: Questions from a non scientist; answers for non scientists

As the subtitle suggests, this book is for nonscientists who are interested in better understanding the climate issue, that has become confusing and sometimes divisive in our public discourse.



It is in the format of a Q&A with a non-scientist author asking the questions and GROK AI providing the answers. Many of the original answers can be quite lengthy and sometimes technical, so in the interest of readability and clarity for non-scientist readers, many answers have been summarized and some technical content omitted. For interested readers, more comprehensive answers can be obtained by re-asking any given question in Grok AI.

At the front of each chapter is a chapter summary for those who would prefer to, at least initially, move through the book quickly to get an “executive” level summary of each chapter’s topic.

The primary goal of the book is to provide, without opinion, information explaining many of the topics relative to this complex and important issue of our time.

Michael McCurdy was an American illustrator, author, and publisher. He illustrated over 200 books in his career, including ten that he authored. Most were illustrated with his trademark black and white wood engravings, with occasional color illustrations. His illustrations often have historical or natural themes.
