Love is supposed to warm, to comfort, to save. But here it smolders like a dying star, a heat that wounds as much as it soothes. Pleasure clings to pain; desire feeds on ruin.
These stories are sparks struck in darkness. Flames that began as hunger, as hope, and burned into something cruel. Love devours, blinds, and drags its believers into the shadows to ache and remember. Passion seeks out monsters. Devotion becomes a curse.
These are not tender romances but haunted confessions of lovers who cannot stop circling each other even as they are destroyed. Whispers of forever cut short. Promises rot into obsession.
Step inside and you will find desire remade into a labyrinth, beautiful and treacherous, full of ghosts that whisper in your head and refuse to let go.

Great assortment of short stories.
My 2 favorites were:
Cold Blood Creek by Brody Butcher - this story started at 100mph and just continued to speed up. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I can't wait to see how he resolves this one!
Adapt by David E Anderson - I loved the supernatural aspect. It was like an episode straight out of the X-files. It had a nice clean ending that left me satisfied but wanting more.
Dark, haunting, and addictive. These stories blur the line between desire and destruction, where passion turns obsessive and devotion comes at a cost. Beautifully written and deeply unsettling.
