Sir Timothy Miles Bindon "Tim" Rice, KBE, is an English lyricist, and author.

An Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Tony Award and Grammy Award-winning lyricist, Rice is best known for his collaborations with Andrew Lloyd Webber, with whom he wrote Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita, and his work for The Walt Disney Company with Alan Menken (Aladdin), Elton John (The Lion King and Aida).

What a gorgeous book.
"Joseph" is one of my favourite musicals and Bible stories.
I've enjoyed introducing my children to it through the musical cd and bible story for children.
We have booked to go to the theatre to watch the show and I saw this.
The book is beautiful. The story is written in the lyrics of the songs from the show and follows the story perfectly. If you're familiar with the musical you can't help but sing the words, my children and I had a brilliant night reading this and singing it. The illustrations from Quentin Blake are his usual style and both my children recognised them from Roald Dahl. They loved looking for the little quirks in the pictures.
We are even more ready to see the show now after reading this book. Special memories made for us reading this together, I love it when books do that.

I adored the film version of this musical (starring Donny Osmond) when I was growing up, so it was a delight to listen to the soundtrack, while reading this book and looking through illustrations by one of my favorite illustrators, Quentin Blake.
