About the author

Marissa Moss has written more than seventy books, from picture books to middle-grade and young adult novels. Best known for the Amelia's Notebook series, her books are popular with teachers and children alike. Her picture book Barbed Wire Baseball won the California Book Award gold medal. Moss is also the founder of Creston Books, an independent children's publishing house.

"My Notebook: With Help from Amelia" is an Amelia book-style journal that you can write in. Some pages are silly, some pages have prompts, and others are just full of her drawings. I loved it! I felt like I was part of an Amelia book which, at the age of 10, was pretty darn awesome.

This book got me into writing journals and diaries. It's the first notebook I finished. I've been doing it for 12 years now because Marissa Moss showed me how much fun it can be!
