Fabulous!

I've read all 6 books straight through. So much knowledge throughout. The first would be a great entrance for young readers. They might get excited to learn more on any number of topics. I know -- I've looked stuff up as I read including H. G. Wells. Extremely well done.

The Shorten Chronicles Books 4-6 and Books 1-3 are hands down my favourite trilogies. I loved reading this series of books! The final book (Book 6) was my ultimate favourite. What a treat! Truly enjoyable. I listened to the audiobook versions and the narrator did an excellent job.

Oh my, this book felt endless. Cycles of: we have to find the cylinder, we have to end Janus, help someone is trying to kill us. It took the whole novel to finally resolve. Best new element was Marion, who was feisty, fearless and surprising. Overall, it felt a very weak ending to the series.

Loved this whole series…book6 is the big finale to the main story and it is great. This time our intrepid travellers meet up with Nicola Tesla and Oscar Wilde ! I’m sad to finish the series but glad we had a good ending.
