This is a must for Slam Dunk fans. This is the art book for all the covers to the collected editions plus extra promotional art for this revered sports manga that single handedly rose the status of basketball in the eyes of a country. That series had some beautiful covers and it really looks so good in quality paper and larger format. This is a feast for the eyes of a basketball manga fan or any art fan for that matter.

A must "read" for Slam Dunk and Takehiko Inoue fans. A good portion of the illustrations I've seen before and quite a bit I haven't stumbled upon. Inoue's watercolours and general colour illustrations are brilliant. So unique and he loves experimenting with his brush for different styles. Anyways, it's a must purchase!

Questa riedizione dell'artbook l'ho trovata davvero strepitosa: i disegni sono spettacolari dal primo all'ultimo riguardanti non solo i personaggi dello Shohoku ma anche delle altre squadre incontrate durante il manga.
Come sempre Inoue ha superato se stesso.

Slam Dunk is the main focus here and I don't mind it one bit because -like many people who grew up in that time- Slam Dunk is part of my childhood.
Mr. Inoue your art is fascinating and original. God bless your talent.

Артбук Такехіко Іноуе. Це автор відомого Vagabond (Про шлях самурая), Slam dunk (про баскетбол) та R.E.A.L (теж баскетбол, але вже на інвалідних візках). Автор відомий своїми неймовірно технічними малюнки, неймовірними деталями в обличчі та емоціях, та гарно прописаним сюжетом.

На жаль не є фанатом баскетболу. Але малюнок файний, теплий. Хочу тепер прочитати манґу. Бо артбуки зацікавив. Деякі ілюстрації прямо можна брати на постери.

Como siempre me fascinó el dibujo de Inoue en general, y sus ilustraciones a color en particular, este librazo que tiene todas las tapas en formato grande y varias joyitas más,como este épico momento entre estos insuperables personajes en aquel impresionante tomo de esta gloriosísima serie (aunque en el libro el color sale mil veces mejor) prácticamente me dejó embobado. Se siente la falta, eso sí, alguna entrevista al autor, o alguna sección de secretos de la creación o misceláneo similar. Aun así, imprescidible para los inouenses en general y slamdunkeros en particular.

إبداع أسلوب رسم تاكهيكيو عنده مكانه خاصةً بقلبي مانجاكا رائع بكل معني الكلمة من ناحية الرسم وأعماله العظيمة ولأ غلطة إعمال متكاملة وستظل للأجيال مخلدة ، شكرا تاكهيكيو عن الماستربيس التي بعملك لها الهمت الكثير والكثير, إعمال ستظل لها مكانة في قلوبنا مهما طال الزمان وإختلف المكان، شكرا تاكهيكيو علي مجهوداتك واتمنى إن تفكر في الرجوع للتكملة فاقابوند التحفة الفنية والأفضل بين إعمالك. 👏🏼
