I took a chance and came into this world on book 3 …
Written in third-person POV, alternating.
Past tense.
Instantly throws the reader right into the danger—that’s fun! I definitely felt I was missing things, and would recommend reading this series in order. I still got into it though, there’s lots of action, lovable characters, great development. This is sort-of a wild ride, strap in!
Protector romance.
Danger everywhere.
Time-travel.
Mysteries everywhere.
Secrets.
Magic.
Trauma, healing.
Found family.
Overall:
Don’t sleep on Knorr! 4 stars!
🎙️ Audiobook:
Absolutely delicious narration, voice-acting, oh these voices! Beautiful. Flawless sound quality also. For his parts. She was excellent, however her parts didn’t have the ‘flawless sound’ going on, she sounded distant or under water. 3.5 stars for her.
Overall though: 5 stars.

Wrath of the Fallen was a great way to wrap up the A Trespass of Angels series. Petra’s story takes another intense turn as she struggles with the consequences of her covenant and the invisible hold it has over her. There’s plenty of action, danger, twists, and supernatural intrigue to keep things moving.
I liked how the story brought together the different characters and their complicated histories while raising the stakes as the Confluence approaches. Petra is definitely put through the wringer, and watching her fight for her freedom while trying to protect the people around her kept me invested.
The dark urban-fantasy world, angelic technology, ancient covenants, and modern-day setting make for an interesting combination, and there are some emotional moments mixed in with the suspense.
Both narrators were fantastic! Melissa-Marie Shriner and Eden Gabay each brought their characters to life and helped make the audiobook especially enjoyable. Their performances added emotion and personality without taking away from the story.
Overall, this was an entertaining and action-packed conclusion with plenty of suspense, supernatural elements, and strong narration. If you've been following the series, this is definitely one you'll want to finish.

Audiobook review: The narration was excellent, very professional and made the story come alive.
Story review: This was an epic ending to an exciting trilogy. Although this is listed as a "Dark urban fantasy" there is much more happening to keep the reader fully engaged and rooting for Petra and Jesse. The world the imaginative author has created contains supernaturals, angels, demons, humans and lots of scientific inventions.
This final volume wraps up all the previous elements. I was very satisfied with the ending. I enjoyed the series so much I purchased the ebook box set to be able to reread! I was both sad this series had ended while excited for the next fantasy adventure from the talented A.L. Knorr.

The conclusion of the series has a lot to unpack including tons of technical jargon. Being a STEM girlie, this was fine with me. We find out what happened in the past, the scope of the deal with Makhriba and how Cain fits into everything. Then there is the bombshell, mind blown. I suspected Connie had a bigger role to play just not the enormity of the reality. The bad guy’s get what’s coming to them but also in an unexpected way. The ending was just what I was hoping for. I enjoyed reading this series and can’t wait to see what is next from the author.

Wow this is one hell of an ending to this incredible trilogy. It’s been one hell of a ride, one that has had me hooked and on the edge of my seat and drawn deeper and deeper into this extraordinary world. Well written, this author brings everything together and ties everything together, giving us an epic ending worthy of this dark urban fantasy read. It’s exciting, it’s emotional and it’s action packed as we make our way to the conclusion with these incredible characters and this is a world I will definitely be revisiting.

Sorry to See It End!
This series with Petra and Jesse pulled you in through emotion, trauma, and supernatural adventure. This book completes the plot line beautifully! Hiroki plays a key role, and the travel method is nerve wracking, but amazing. This series is well crafted, beautifully written with vivid vocabulary, and these elements make for a strong, satisfying read!

What an absolute epic finale. My jaw hit the floor a few times with absolutely epic plot twists. Included with tears for me. This world has absolutely meant the world to me and what an incredible way to possibly …. Finish off Petra and Jessie’s story. I still can believe this trilogy is over 😭

I like how a character from another series pops in to help petra. There was so much action and suspense as what was going to happen with petra, jesse and her enemy and her usong her powers the end.

Amazing Series
I read till I fell asleep on my tablet! Each chapter of each book kept me wanting more, waiting for what would happen next! Very ,very well written and I loved how it ended.
