All Hallows’ Heat isn’t a full love story, but it is one unforgettable night. One intense encounter. One set of choices that leave sparks behind, whether they ignite something new or just linger in memory. Think of it like peeking through a window at a world that exists just long enough to pull you in… the kind of glimpse you won’t forget.
In New Orleans, Halloween is just another night for trouble—and Free is about to get more than she bargained for. Four months after a messy breakup, she thought she’d left Drue behind for good. But there he is—same hood edge, same fire in his eyes, same pull she can’t fight no matter how hard she tries.
When an unexpected text lures her into the rain-slicked streets of the French Quarter, Free’s defenses crumble. Sharp words spark into reckless touches, and old wounds clash with new desire—forcing her to confront the lust she can’t deny and the love she thought she’d buried.
Free was done with Drue after some inappropriateness that she felt was disrespectful. But did her heart and feelings get the memo? Uhhhh... no! 😂 Running into Drue around Halloween, brought all those feelings right to the surface, and she couldn't deny him if she wanted to. Drue was not trying to hear what Free was talkin' about. He wants his woman back. Cute Halloween Ish read!
4.5 ⭐️ My first read from the this author and I already love her writing style after only 27 pages of a short story. She was able to fit a good amount of angst and yearning in this, which I’m shocked by. I wanted at least one more chapter but enjoyed it!
There is no way this was only 27 pages... and in actuality it was less because the table of content and author notes.. So how the author made me fall in love and want to know more about these characters is crazy. I mean the chemistry between the two is off the charts even though they've been through a rough patch we can see and feel the love they have for each other. I definitely recommend!! Its a great read but just be ready to crave more.
No witches no vampires no problem 😏 Sometimes life itself is spooky enough. We dropped in on Drue and Free just trying to figure out if that moment against the wall was just for the night or if dinner’s next 😂
It was quick, spicy, and perfect for the season without doing too much. A fun little Halloween read that still gave a lil heat while keeping it real.
3⭐ because it was cute, chaotic, and had just enough drama to make me smirk.
Ummm I’m confused 🤔. There’s a pattern here …”call & respond” 🥴🤦🏾♀️‼️…Nevertheless, other than the obvious, Free & Drue were “stuck on you” or “stupid” (same moniker different toxicity). This ”All Hallows’ Heat: A Halloween Shot” was redundant and didn’t make sense.
This was a short and sweet read set during Halloween weekend in New Orleans, a perfect backdrop for a little drama and romance. Free and Drue had been broken up for four months, but one unexpected run-in was all it took to spark things back up. Their reunion was just the right touch of nostalgia and heat.
A reunited hookup on Halloween 🎃 with Louisiana ambience and vibes! It’s the characters, the steady suspense and writing style that kept me anticipating what’s next in this hot Halloween Short!
A quick, hot, and spicy read! Free and Drue share a complicated history, but their chemistry was undeniable! One wild night was all it took for them to see the sparks didn’t fade; turn me every which way but loose babyyyy lol! I needed some more of them!
And idk even though it was short lived it actually made me shed a tear because even though things weren’t supposed to take place they did and I swear like summer said “the only thing that’s saving you…is the heart of a woman” Chileeeee
Sometimes the heart wants what it wants, even when the feelings are messy. I just needed a little more insight into why he started entertaining the other girl, because that thread felt a bit thin. Ain’t much halloween vibes in sight so the theme did not quite hit. Overall, it was an okay read.
So cute. Short, nasty, and sweet. Your body wants what it wants, no matter what you tell yourself to try to stop the urge. When live is real it never fades and one night signified that. Great read.
I ate this up. The writing was great. I loved how detailed and descriptive this was while also being quick and to the point. The emotions and environment were palpable. The spice was felt. I loved every second of this.
I walked away sad. I feel for her, she trusted him and during a heated moment he broke her trust and heart. Hopefully they work it out, but my heart hurts for her.
Yes boo. I absolutely loved it. This book was short but was hot & spicy. I wanted more from both main characters but I understand it’s a short read. If you haven’t read this. Go get this now.
