From the authors of the Monsters series and Ingest Me & Apex Prey comes Heirs to the Dark Web.

Nate’s family is highly religious, so when his father commits a terrible sin, the backlash forces them to move elsewhere. Nate starts at a public school and is quickly targeted by the school bullies. But on his first day, he meets Jamie, another kid often taunted and bullied by the boys and girls. They hit it off straight away.

But Jamie is resentful. Coming from a toxic household, his mother often drunk and flirting with all the men in the area, Jamie dreams of better things. A life where he is in control, where he can get his revenge on all those who have abused him physically and emotionally. Then he stumbles upon the dark web, specifically the hurtcore scene, and his life is forever changed.

With the help of his gullible new friend, Jamie is going to unleash all his pent-up anger and not only earn a fortune in the process, but become heir to the dark web. And no one will stop him...

This book is every teen and every parent worse nightmare in physical form. While reading this book I had no idea where I was going to be taken, there were many plots and twists. Very entertaining and kept me on the edge of my sleep.

This book is about Nathaniel and Jamie two very diverse individuals. Nathaniel, a young man raised in a close knit religious community until one day is father does something unspeakable and their entire family are banished. His father rules his household with an ironed fist and women are treated as subservient. Jamie, a young man who is picked on at school for being the oddball and it doesn’t help he is large for his age. He grows up with a mom who is very promiscuous and often leaves Jamie to fend for himself. Because of this he grows to resent her.

An ill faded encounter brings this two together at school. The unlikely pair form a friendship. This begins Nathaniel slow descent into rebellion and acting on hidden desires. Jamie now has a friend someone he manipulate and an unlikely partner in crime. This begins their introduction into the dark web. The stakes become higher.

While reading this book the action started in the first paragraph to which I immediately said well damn. This is very extreme and graphic and I would encourage you to check your triggers. Many of times I covered my hands over my mouth due the graphic descriptions of the scenes. Definitely a must read the ending was explosive. ´ཀ`

I love when I can sum up a reading experience in a few words: interesting → wait, what? → the fucking fuck → I quit → wait, no, I don't quit → oh, hell yeah?

This book is extreme in the truest sense. It's one of those cases where I go, "Why do I like this?". If you've got no triggers, dive in. But honestly, look at the authors. You know what you're getting into.

We follow Nate and Jamie as their curiosity pulls them into the horrors of the dark web alongside their extreme curiosities, depravity, and the kind of disturbing adventures you can't look away from. My favorite dynamic, though, came from siblings Nate and Johanna (when you read the book, you'll go, "Ohhhhhhh...no, no, no").

It's a wild ride, an amazing collaboration between Boote and Camphouse, but also... WTF???

RTC BRB vomiting 🤢

Check your trigger warnings ⚠️ cos there's just way too much for it to be normal

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🔥💀 NOT FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED...NOR WEAK STOMACHS 💀🔥

From the authors who gave us Monsters, Ingest Me, and Apex Prey comes a story that drags you headfirst into the filthiest, most depraved corners of humanity.

Heirs to the Dark Web isn’t just extreme horror — it’s EXTREME in every possible way.

Here, we follow two boys - Nate, a boy from a strict religious family who is forced to start over after his father’s disgrace, and Jamie, hardened by abuse, neglect, and endless rage.

These two boys, complete outsiders have an instant connection, while wanting two different things. Nate just wants to belong, and Jamie just wants to take revenge on those who have bullied him.

ENTER...The Dark Web...and once Jamie stumbles upon the hurtcore scene, you know the direction this is gonna go...it spirals downhill fast!

With Nate as his accomplice, Jamie sets out to unleash his darkest urges — and we are literally dragged along for the ride, every VILE, VIOLENT moment becomes something UNFORGETTABLE...

BUT, here’s the thing:
It took me a while to finish this once I started it as I had to put this book down more than once. Not because it lagged — but because it was THAT VICIOUS!

👉 If you’re into horror that shatters every taboo, makes your stomach churn, and leaves you questioning your sanity for finishing it, this is your next read.

This is EXTREME HORROR at its most savage, and now I finally have book 2. I've wiped off the spittle and traces of vomit from book 1 so I can gear up for the atrocities that await me in book 2.

For fans of Aron Beauregard, and Daniel Volpe — this one will feel right at home on your shelf.

"Let me tell you, mate. You've been brainwashed all your life, and you need to start understanding how the real world works. That, or you're going to lead a real sheltered, lonely life.”

Meet Nathaniel, who has grown up in an extremely religious home when his father commits an ultimate sin and the family is forced to move and start anew. Nathaniel starts public school and immediately finds himself being bullied for his religious ways fortunately for him a young man who’s also been horribly bullied by the name of Jamie befriends him . Jamie having grown up in a home with a mother who is extremely promiscuous is looking to get out of the house and act on some of his pent up anger.
It isn’t long before Jamie teaches Nathaniel about the dark web.

“This is porn, Nate. One of the biggest industries in the world. They're not demons or whatever you wanna call them; they get paid a fucking lot of money to do that."

When they come up with a plan to make money fast and become “HEIRS TO THE DARK WEB”

This is an extremely graphic book. If you have any triggers, this is not for you ! As always much thanks to the authors for the early read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5! What a fantastic collaboration! Will definitely be checking out more of JB’s work too! 😄

•MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD•

This book is absolutely brutal, visceral, and impossible to put down!

It follows Jamie, an incel child whose traumatic upbringing - neglect, hunger, and being forced to witness his mother’s destructive choices - warps his young mind and pushes him toward hurtcore. At first, there’s sympathy for Jamie as a neglected boy, but as his grip on reality unravels, that sympathy quickly erodes.

Enter Nate (Nathaniel), a boy scarred by religious trauma and an abusive father. His vulnerability makes him easy prey for Jamie’s manipulation. While you understand why Nate is so impressionable, watching the descent into darkness is both disturbing and compelling.

Jamie’s ambition to crown himself the ‘Heir to the Dark Web’ drives the story into darker and darker territory. The gore is disgusting and is done with such intensity that you can’t stop turning the pages.

And the ending? I did not see that coming. It was shocking, brilliant, and left me reeling.

If like me you’re fascinated by dark web fiction, twisted psychology, or just want a read that will grip you by the throat and refuse to let go, this book ticks every box. Go and read it - now!

Heirs To The Dark Web OUT 26th September 🤯

So I of course couldn’t wait to read this! I’ve read all of Lesley’s books so far & loved them all. Justin is also one of my fav authors & a great guy. I just knew this was going to be unreal & obviously it was that and more 🤎

Nathaniel isn’t happy, brought up in an extremely religious family his dad, Jacob has committed the ultimate sin…adultery! They’ve now been ostracised & exiled by the community & it’s safe to say having to move miles away to start afresh does not sit well with Nathaniel!

Jamie has always been bullied, he has no friends & his mother is more interested in her extra activities than him. He is filled with hate & rage. Seeing a newbie nerd in his school fills him with a little hope. He soon realises that little religious Nate can easily be manipulated & a plan is formed.

These two together become a storyline of revenge, the dark web & a lot of twisted scenarios. It’s safe to say Nate isn’t that good hearted son of god for long & Jamie has used him for every messed up fantasy he can think of 😱🤯

OMG this was craaaazy!! The amount of times I actually fully gasped 😱 And may I say the way Becki got her ending was just 🤯 it made me wince & cross my legs like it was happening to me personally 🤣 I genuinely loved every single second of this!!

Absolutely incredible, you two did amazing!! GIVE ME MORE 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 This is out on 26th September so make sure to get those pre-orders in, but do CHECK YOUR TRIGGERS…it’s a lot!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved it!

I really enjoyed this r. It has a great storyline with some nice twists in it. The characters are energetic and full on intrigue and desire. Mate or Nathaniel a quite boy from a strict background finds friendship in a boy named jamie. Jamie being totally opposite to Mate both find something they have in common. But things change and begins to stir changes in them!
A read full of violence and brutal bloody torture that will have you entertained throughout the whole read. Recommended!

4.5 rounded down

A very religious and sheltered boy, Nate, is uprooted and forced to go to public school. There, he befriends the school loser Jamie. Jamie holds a lot of hatred for his life and his upbringing and grooms Nate to be like him. Together they deep dive into the world known as the dark web, specifically hurtcore and murder videos. The boys commit heinous acts of torture and violence for the sake of uploading and spiral down the rabbit hole of this dark lifestyle. Will their evil deeds catch up with them?

MY THOUGHTS

Be careful who you befriend on your first day of school….sometimes your friend doesn’t have your best intentions in mind.

Nate is so naive and gullible and desperate for friendship that he is being easily manipulated by Jamie. From technology, to cursing, to girls, to sex, to personal traumas, he goes through a lot of new experiences in a short amount of time. Typical good kid becomes rebellious bad kid.

Jamie is just plain angry and evil. He knows he has Nate under his thumb and already has horrible fantasies about hurting others. He eventually sees himself as the Heir of the dark web after a few successful videos and will do anything to keep the camera rolling.

These boys dive into the world of the dark web, realize they can make their own videos to earn some money and fame so that’s exactly what they do. Money and the desire to be infamous is so intoxicating, as is the feeling of being untouchable.

The maggots and flies….That is all.

Very graphic. Very ruthless. Very reckless. Pure evil. Very well written. This is definitely an extreme horror. There is depth to the characters, a great plot and lots of vivid events and scenes that take place. The middle got a little slow for me and then picked up again. I was expecting that type of ending either wow!

A middle school student named Nate, raised in a strict religious household, starts public school for the first time and is immediately targeted by bullies. Among the other outcasts is Jamie, loner from a broken home. Jamie’s mother is an alcoholic who neglects him, and his pain has led him to fantasies of revenge. Seeing a kindred spirit in Nate, Jamie quickly befriends him.

Because of his parents’ strict rules, Nate is forbidden from owning a phone or computer — until a teacher loans him both to help with schoolwork. When Jamie discovers this, he begins exposing Nate to online material he would never have otherwise seen. At first, it’s ordinary pornography, but soon Jamie escalates to disturbing content hidden deep on the internet.

As Jamie’s obsession with vengeance grows, he begins to see Nate not just as a friend but as a potential accomplice — someone he might mold into carrying out the violent fantasies he’s been nursing for years.

Leslie Camphouse and Justin Boote’s story is a descent into the darkest corners of adolescence, exploring the making of a psychopath.

Beautifully Disturbing Horror

The more I read of Lesley Camphouse, the more I fall in love with the stories and characters. J. Boote is new to me, but this was a masterpiece beyond belief. The parts that had me wrenching when turning the pages, had me wanting more. If you are into extreme dark horror, this is for you. I cannot wait to read book 2! The characters and environments were brilliant as well. Great job on this!

Nathaniel and Jamie meet each other at school, on Nathaniel's first day of public school. Before this, he had not attended a "normal" school, and had no idea how the "real" world works. Luckily for him, Jamie has some answers to those questions, starting with introducing Nathaniel to hardcore, and brutal pornography. Nathaniel, feeling stirred by the things he was raised to believe are very wrong, begins to slowly transform into who he thinks he wants to be. Now, known as "Nate", Nathaniel, and Jamie begin to blur the lines between desire, and justice in those who have wronged them. The "justice" they carry out, in bloody fashion, earns them a nice little following on the dark web. How long can they go on, without being caught? Will they be caught? And, can they, as newly best friends, together, become the heirs to the dark web? This was an engaging read, for sure! The violence, and gore were great, but not over the top. This could easily be an introduction to the genre for anyone who likes torture, gore, and revenge. I felt particularly bad for Nate, having been exposed to a whole new world that he didn't know he was being indoctrinated into. You really feel bad for Jamie, too. Being a relatable loser, bullied by his peers, and basically neglected by his mother. However, you really grow to hate him, with his growing god complex. This was a great tale of the seduction of sexual violence, the greed of money, and the strength of, and lengths one will go to for friendship.

Warning. If you have ever had thoughts of what’s on the dark web. What really goes on in there…. Well….

Jamie, a young teen, is an outcast at his school. He is constantly bullied for the way he dresses, his weight, well, just being an over all loser. Nate, a new student, with a strict religious background & very naive of the ways of the world. Jamie, tired of being the loser of the school, hones in on Nate, and sees him as an opportunity to mold him into his new BFF, and use him for nefarious means. Jamie has a bad streak in him and loves to watch hurt core. He dreams of hurting some of his school bullies. His mind goes to places no normal teen would take their thoughts. He is obsessed with hurt core. He dreams daily of savagely hurting his bullies. He knows Nate can help him achieve those dreams. But when Jamie realizes he can make serious cash just from uploading to the dark web, he becomes obsessed like never before. He focuses on Nate, convincing him he should hurt those that hurt him too. Being naive that he is, and anger driving his emotions, it becomes easy for Nate to want to hurt them too. Together they act out the unimaginable…to several of those bullies. Jamie on the other hand gets greedy and gets carried away with wanting more and more. But it’s not even always about money. He loves hurting. Thrives on it! The dark web is a bottomless pit of paying customers that want the most deprived and horrific things done to innocent people. And are willing to pay top dollar for the most horrendous acts performed. Doing things no young teen could even fathom doing to another person. But then Jamie goes too far, Nate gets caught in the crossfire.

I did not predict the ending AT ALL. So unexpected! I never would have imagined it would take that route. Such a great ending!

This book has a fantastic plot that kept me I’m engaged the whole book. The kills scenes in this this book are fire. So detailed, & graphic. My fav kill scene was Debra. But the others….like damn! Sometimes I could imagine I was there in the room watching, with the amount of detail that was written. But glad that I wasn’t for fear I’d be next! I love extreme horror and this is the perfect book for extreme!

This book comes out September 28th. I highly recommend putting this on your TBR. Considering the authors that wrote it, that alone should be enough to convince you to check it out. Coming September 26th!

Man, that was disturbing. Take some incel rage, mix it up with some religious fervor, add some bondage and BDSM videos, sprinkle it with teenage lust, give it to a couple of high school virgin boys - and watch the whole thing explode when, on the following step, they discover the sick joys of the Dark Web!

No need to flag this as an extreme horror novel, full of vileness and brutality: coupled with the names of Boote and Camphouse on the cover, the reference to the Dark Web on the title should be warning enough! It's definitely a 18+ work. What makes it even worse, though, is the fact that something like what's happening in this story might actually happen, or maybe even has happened somewhere: the setting and the connections to real life are evident, and the rage, the opportunity and the appetite are surely all there. It's so easy for kids to access darknets, get seduced by easy money, and commit the most depraved kind of abuse towards others, out of resentment, dissatisfaction, or simply boredom.

Its extreme content acknowledged, the book seems to me to be also about corruption: moral, spiritual, systemic - though not the corruption of innocence: these boys are already far on the way to perversion and wickedness, the one because of neglect and hate at home, the other because of religion. The addition of a teacher prepared to sexually harass boys at school also tells against a sane and healthy system into which 'innocent' boys somehow enter; similarly the repeatedly noted promiscuity of the schoolgirls indicates explicitly serious trouble at home; and the ending takes this idea further, showing how corruption reproduces itself in a already rotten system from the inside. Strangely, the single discordance on that front is the cop: he's honest, caring, active - obviously this won't end well lol!

I highly recommend the book. It's fun, violent, unsettling - and quite well-written. I eagerly await the authors' second collaboration, this was terrific extreme horror entertainment, it'd be a shame if it turned out to be an one-off !

⚠️ ARC REVIEW — Heirs to the Dark Web by Lesley Camphouse & J. Boote

This book didn’t just crawl into my brain—it kicked the door down, rearranged the furniture, and left bloody footprints on the walls.

We start with two broken boys—Nate and Jamie. Outcasts. Walking red flags. Trauma bonded and barely holding it together. Nate’s quiet, religious, trying to stay afloat after his family implodes. Jamie? He’s pure wildfire. Angry, sharp, electric with danger. The kind of kid who laughs when things burn.
And then it goes there.
Jamie stumbles into the dark web like it’s made for him, and Nate—sweet, lost Nate—gets pulled along for the ride. Curious, scared, and just desperate enough to say yes.

And from that point on?
Everything. Gets. Worse.
In the BEST possible way.

This story doesn’t hold your hand—it shoves you straight into the abyss. The writing is raw. Gritty. Absolutely feral. There’s no comfort here, no safe word. You are meant to squirm. To question what the hell you're watching unfold. To feel like maybe you shouldn't be seeing any of this. But this book grins back and will not let you look away!

The pacing?? Unrelenting. It grabs you by the throat and drags you through scene after scene of escalating horror, and just when you think it can’t get any more messed up—surprise. It can. It WILL.

And then comes the ending.
I won’t spoil the holy sht* ending! It’s unexpected and shows a devilish grin 😈 This is not a story that fades—it lingers, it infects, it asks for more.

Lesley Camphouse & J. Boote —-
So... can we talk book two? Please? 🤞🏼

Nate has grown up under the heavy hand of his deeply religious parents, living by rigid rules and harsh expectations. When his father commits a grave sin that shatters the familys standing, they are forced to relocate and Nate is thrust into the unforgiving world of public high school. There his differences make him an easy target. At his lowest point, Nate finds an unexpected ally in Jamie, another outcast whose own scars run deep. They're bond quickly grows, but beneath it simmers anger, pain, and a fascination with the darker corners of human nature. As the boys connection deepens, they begin to venture into a world of violence, brutality, and the sinister allure of the dark web. Soon their shared suffering spirals into something unimaginable... an exploration of power, vengeance, and the crossing of moral boundaries.

This book is raw, disturbing, and absolutely unrelenting. It follows a familiar setup.. an outcast teen finding friendship with another misfit, but then twists it into something shocking and grotesque. Camphouse and Boote don't shy away from brutality, both emotional and physical, and the descent from bullying and family trauma into extreme darkness feels both believable and horrifying. The characters are messy and flawed but that's what makes this story hit so hard. It's not a comfortable read, and it's definitely not for the faint of heart, but if you like your horror boundary pushing and extreme this one is well worth the read!

Thank you so much to Lesley Camphouse and Justin Boote for allowing me to ARC read this gem! Can't wait to see what other chaos you all come up with next!

"Being a king on the dark web, the most vile, sickening videos are around. He wanted to be a legend, the one people feared. Heir to the dark web."

Nathaniel Sheppard has just moved schools and who should he encounter, but Jamie, a sick kid with a taste for torture. After quickly befriending Nathaniel (or 'Nate' as he becomes known), the two boys set out on a course for cash. The origin of said cash being the creation and exchange of the most vile, fucked up home movies imaginable, all fuelled by a twisted fascination with the Dark Web. When Jamie's uncle, a DI, starts investigating in a botched murder coverup, the eye of suspicion falls on Jamie and his new friend, a scrutiny that just might push them both to the brink. However, Jamie's lust for murder and need to produce 'hurtcore', is a force in itself, an intoxicating hunger that will push him to become the true heir to the dark web.

Well, Camphouse and Boote certainly took me on a journey with this one! This is a hard-hitting, gut-spilling descent into the extreme. The scenes of violence went from 0 - 100 in a matter of moments, pushing boundaries and utilizing some truly horrific methods of brutality. This is Wrath James White level shit. Absolute class! Heirs had me squirming with each messed up detail, every bone broken, and every organ BOILED! The final chapter had me on the edge of my seat, the twists and turns coming a-plenty as the final showdown unfolded. A masterful piece of writing from Camphouse and Boote. Looking forward to moving onto their next offering in the series, 'A Covenant Renewal'!

These two had completely different upbringings, and a laptop will show just how similar they really are…
Nate comes from a very religious and strict family, where he must obey the rules or face punishment.
Jamie lives with his mum, a woman who only cares about fooling around with men and neglects her son.
At school, Jamie is bullied, so when he meets Nate, the new student, they quickly become friends and slowly, Jamie starts planting seeds in Nate’s mind.
Seeds for a money tree… selling videos on the dark web of the most atrocious acts.

When I heard Lesley and Boote were getting together to write a book, I knew there wouldn’t be any holding back, and this book is brutal in so many ways.
Not only is it about two 15 year olds becoming monsters, but there’s also manipulation, gaslighting, greed, and revenge that fuel some truly graphic scenes guaranteed to make you squirm.

Heirs to the Dark Web will test your limits and question reality, but the writing is so addictive you won’t be able to stop reading.
… and I, for one, really hope there’s a sequel!
This story can’t stop here!

Side Note: The reference to the Monster series is the cherry on top of the cake.

Heirs to the Dark Web is a collaboration by Justin Boote aka J. Boote and Lesley A. Camphouse, which is now available on Amazon. These two authors did an amazing job with this book, which was a very dark and brutal ride!
Synopsis: Nate comes from a very religious family in a small town. Due to his father‘s sins, they are forced to move to a new town. Nate starts at a public school where he is picked on due to his clothes, awkwardness, quietness, etc. Jamie, another loner in the school, seeks Nate out on his first day. Jamie has a very promiscuous mom who brings various men into their home and he is a very angry young man. He is picked on at school by his peers, especially the girls. He has wicked thoughts in his mind on how to get revenge on these girls and his mom. He pulls Nate into his sick mind and the dark web. There are no limits to Jamie‘s vengeance, including Nate’s family! I highly recommend this book, so that you too can see how Jamie and Nate’s plan evolves. I hope there is a sequel!

I got to read this as an ARC. Thank you to the wonderful Lesley A. Camphouse & J. Boote for this opportunity. I leave this review voluntarily.

“Heirs To The Dark Web” - “Lord have Mercy!”

★★★★★

When I saw this collaboration I knew I was in for a dark and disturbing treat, and I was not wrong.

This books takes you down a dark path fast and it just spirals from there! The mix of morals, religion, lust, and sick twisted minds gets blended in the most delightfully disturbing way.

Did I make faces while reading this? Yes, Yes I did. Is this for people with a sensitive stomach? I guess not. Do you need to check all your trigger warnings? Yes. Is this exactly what you sign up for when devoting yourself to this novel? HELLS YES!

This was a brilliant collaboration and I am here for more! (Because we need more, a part two, a follow up, anything. Let me send out a prayer real quick even tho the Lord might not approve of my reading choices.)
