One day, we were eighteen planning our future.
Time passed and I spent every day wishing I’d made a better choice.
One night, everything changed for me, and she was the one who stepped up to save me.
One day, we were twenty-six, trying to figure out what came next.
Could she forgive me for the past?
Could we move forward and create a future together that would last?

Devotion and Vienna is a small town, forced proximity, second chance romance and the final book in the Lynn Falls series.

Devotion and Vienna is a beautiful and emotional conclusion to the Lynn Falls series. While this is the final book, it can absolutely be read as a standalone. While not necessary, I recommend reading the others there’s a lot of crossover and backstory that will add the most to the story.

Lex and Carter’s story is the definition of right person, wrong time. Their second chance romance is filled with raw emotion, growth, and the kind of love that only comes after learning who you are and what you truly need.

Watching them navigate past mistakes while finding their way back to each other was both heartbreaking and hopeful.

I loved how much this book showed the characters we already love growing up, their self-discovery, and the importance of choosing yourself without losing the people you love. The friend group remains one of the strongest parts of this series supportive, honest, and deeply rooted in found family.

And as a bonus, getting more moments with Hudson and Devina made this story even better and heartbreaking for those who have read the whole series.

Arc Review

Lex and Carter thought they were going to be together forever! Having to move oversees, Carter’s career took off in the hockey world. Unable to still be “together” these two navigated life without one another until Carter’s career came to an end.

Lex is now back in his life and having to help him out. Lex gives Carter a good speech and as she should! He didn’t choose her! She should’ve been the first choice! No questions asked. And now he has to live with the consequences.

Boy! He’s gonna have to do a lot of groveling.
Good luck Mr. C!

Glad to see the whole crew and how they got their HEA. We got more of Dev 😭😭😭 (book 1)

This book can be read as a standalone but if you wanna get a glimpse of this found family then go read J Dylan’s back log.

Book rating 4.5

This was a wonderfully written second chance story. Carter and Lex were great in this one. Carter went off to do his hockey stint and he left Lex behind. Huge mistake. She should’ve been his first choice. But time goes on and they come back together. This book shows the consequences of choices, and growth as well. I thought it was so well done. I loved the characters. I went through the emotions with them. It was so super sweet to see everyone get their HEA in the end. ❤️

This was a heartfelt and satisfying conclusion to the Lynn Falls series. Devotion and Vienna beautifully captures the ache of missed chances and the hope that comes with finding your way back to the person who truly matters. The emotional growth between Devotion and Vienna feels genuine, and the forced proximity adds just the right amount of tension and intimacy. It is tender, reflective, and deeply romantic, reminding you that forgiveness and love can still win, even after time and mistakes. A lovely second chance romance that lingers after the final page.
