A very aptly titled book This anthology included diverse short stories with a common theme: compassion for others which, in at least two narratives, included ‘tough love’. Ms Koops’ contribution of “World World” (Word World?) resonated with me as a reader who identifies with Tammy in her love of words and the difficulty she experiences in discarding her documentation 😊. However, each of these stories includes a special element and invites further reflection on the part of the reader. I am of the opinion that the authors can potentially develop their various contributions into novellas and it would be interesting to see the outcomes... The entire anthology in incredibly heartwarming. I loved how each writer used their unique styles to write such moving, unique stories that are each so relateable across every women's experience and how kindess often has such a larger impact no matter how small the action. The last story had me in tears.
Reading this anthology is like a ray of sunlight when harsh every day reality threatens to overwhelm you, it reminded me to keep the faith that there are good people out there willing to be there for those in need of support, a wonderful collection of heartwarming stories.
These are delightful stories from each author. They warm your heart, sometimes with humor and other times with sorrow, but each brings a special message of the power of kindess.
