didn’t expect to connect with this as much as I did. It’s not preachy at all—it’s more like having a big sister gently remind you that you don’t have to get lost in the scroll. There were so many moments that hit me, especially around how much we chase validation online without even noticing.

What I loved most was how practical it felt. Like, not just “have faith,” but how to carry that faith while you’re literally on Instagram or sending a tweet. It kinda helped me feel less weird about wanting to share light online without falling into the whole comparison trap.

Some of it felt a little repetitive at times, but overall, it gave me a sense of direction—like I can actually use my screen time with purpose now.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. I often read religious, usually Christian, texts which seek to bring sense to modernity. The book introduced the idea of becoming a digital disciple; using modern technology for the promotion of good and to connect deeper with the Bible. The ideas are presented well and I found the overall experience to be one of open-minded exploration. Whilst I don't read much of the Bible now, those who are seeking sense within the digital era may find solace from so doing.

You should read with an open mind and should you feel compelled, you can extend this to searching for a deeper personal meaning, as all followers of Jesus should. Contemplation of the work may yet yield a greater enjoyment, as time and reflection allows. All in all, a very worthwhile read.

Scroll, Share, Shine: Following Jesus in a Digital World is an inspiring reminder that faith doesn’t stop where the screen begins. With warmth and clarity, the book challenges readers to think about how their digital choices reflect their walk with Christ, while offering practical encouragement to use social media as a place of hope rather than comparison or division. It’s both uplifting and thought-provoking, showing how even the simplest posts and interactions can become acts of love and light. A thoughtful, modern devotional for Christians who want their online presence to be as meaningful as their everyday life.

This is a much-needed book that shows us how we can use our time online wisely by sharing God's message with others. As the book suggests, it's very easy to connect, but not really connect at the same time. Online, we are fortunate to be able to connect with many people, and this can be used to encourage, inspire, and build others up through God's word.

I was wondering what a religious book has got to say about the internet. Surprisingly, a lot of things made sense even to me who doesn't often indulge in reads of this kind. Being aware, being thoughtful. Logical teachings, just phrased with the bible in mind.
