McKenna Monroe's Christmas just went from mistletoe to meltdown. Fired from her preschool teaching job, she's stranded in small-town Havenwood with nowhere to go...except her best friend's brother's farmhouse.
Reece Taylor knows this is a mistake. The rugged farmhand has spent years keeping his distance from the one woman who gets under his skin. But when McKenna needs help, he can't say no.
Between holiday traditions, stolen glances, and too many "accidental" encounters under the mistletoe, friendship blurs into something neither can ignore.
In Havenwood, love finds you—even when you've stopped chasing it.
This was a quick read. I liked how McKenna and Reece’s story started out. I wished the frenemies would have lasted a little longer before they became lovers. But with it being a novella I get that sometimes the author needs to get to the point of their relationship where they become lovers. Really like that some of the characters from the previous books were in this. If you’re looking for a Christmas novella be sure to check this one out. It is a closed door romance.
