E. Whitney is a gifted writer! If you are looking for a thriller with great character development, and surprise twists this book is for you. If you are looking for a book with more nuances of young adult ethical decisions including protecting your future through lies, or potentially ruining your future through truth this is a must read. If you are looking for a novel with current young adult social issues and the implications of those issues whether they are social status, race drugs, sex and friendship, read this book. Ms. Whitney is able to present current, relevant young adult issues that transcends time and age groups. It is both a YA novel and an adult novel. Merging the two is a rare talent! I cannot wait for her next book. Her book reads like a NETFLIX limited series. She is sure to become a real success.
Really enjoyed this story about teenagers that find themselves in very adult situations and they don’t always make the right choices in trying to find their way out. I thought the author did a great job with descriptive writing!
