Cliffhanger? I'm not sure I call that a cliffhanger but a MAJOR storyline cutoff...
The MOST important thing to remember if you are going to pick this up is you may want to wait until more it out so you don't get pissed at the end with a major unfulfilled completion to the story.
Now that being said...Any one going into this reading the blurb and wants to howl about the injustice heaped onto Merik's head... the blurb DID warn readers of the brutal facts of Merik's existance. I was wondering what I got myself into and how this was going to turn around at all when finally there's that something different with the new addition to the pack. Finally Merik's pleasure is actually thought of.
After a night of pleasure where it's not required all things go to hell in a handbasket...oops sorry you have to wait for the next installment...
If I read the complete thing all at one time I may like the 'finished' product. As it is I'm doubting, even with this not sooo bad, that the next one will hit my radar..

Way better than what it might appear. I really enjoyed this one beyond the hot sex - as it was not overly descriptive but the situation certainly was a hurt/comfort theme...not so heavy.

It’s a cliffhanger with no book 2. It’s well-written and the protagonists are likeable in a dark morally bankrupt society. I would have liked to see where it continues.

Great Read!
A excellent read! The author does a amazing job of bringing us to a wonderful new world. Resplad's aka Merik's story is a truly heart wrenching one. And the author leaves you at a wonderful cliff hanger that makes you want more. I sincerely hope this series is continued.
