Lucia has such a talent. Literally it must be magic. I’m convinced.
Sam is the best friend we all need and want. I adore that witch 🧙♀️ also Kaiden is A BOOK BOYFRIEND forever. He’s made the list. And Iris, I love a strong FMC. Iris delivers 🖤💅 the found family in this is really coming together and I just wanna see Malik and someone (no spoilers) come together already!! 🤪
Also, we are getting crumbs of information and I’m DEVOURING it. I need to know!!! 😩
I got to 90ish percent in and knew it was gonna be a cliffhanger. That one topped book 1. I’m like wait…no…no!!!!! I need to know what happens haha.

Also, I just loooveeee Iris. I love the main characters point blank period.
The betrayals that’s that Iris discovers from Kaiden.. hurts her but in a way kinda connects them?
I loved Iris really finding herself in this book and really learning more about herself
I also loved the Ava and Logan cameos in here.
I loved how much Kaiden loves Iris.
I also love Sam who is Iris’s best friend, she’s so freaking hilarious but also such a down friend. Malik was also really freaking hilarious.
I loved how each of the side characters had a chance to really sparkle during this book while also not taking away from the main characters.

I ate this book up in a few hours, honestly curious to find out more and more information about certain mysteries. It was more fun than the first book for me, I loved where the story was going and I swear that I almost cried out loud when the book ended on such a cliffhanger. I’m heartbroken and I need to find out more 🥹🥹
Once again, Iris was a great relatable character and uncovering her past bit by bit left me unable to stop reading. Her romance and past with Kaiden was chef’s kiss, their chemistry was insane and don’t even get me started on the smut? Perfect, spectacular, I love them together 💖💖
Kaiden was less confusing than in the first book and I feel like I understood him much better now which helped me enjoy his character much more! Also, I knew the Order would turn out to be shady and I knew Noah was an idiot 🫠 And I was glad about what happened to Eric 🫣
I liked that this book was darker, more action packed and that it had more lore. I loved the part where they went to Faerie 🧚🏼

4⭐️ The urban paranormal romantasy with a little bit of everything....shifters, vampires, wolves, demons, angels, etc.. Our demon and demon hunter story continues with book two and continues to be so bingeable I devoured this book in two days. Couldn't stop wondering what was going to happen next. As we got towards the end I was so nervous because there's so much going on and we're left on such a cliffhanger. She definitely hooked me in for the next book that's for sure!

This is the 3rd book of Lucia Skye's that I've given a 5 star rating to! This whole series in INCREDIBLE! If you're looking for something with a similar vibe and character development as Throne of Glass, READ THIS SERIES! I will never stop recommending this series. Lucia Skye just gets it! She understands how to put together an epic and gripping fantasy series. Iris is a top tier FMC, im placing her right next to Aelin Galathynius! Everything about this book & series is immaculate.

Okay QUEEN PERIOD!
I knew I knew it from the first book Fated Hearts that Lucia was going to be a forever auto buy author for me and with each book she continues to deliver!
This book picks up right after the last diving right back into the world with Kaiden, our MMC and Iris our FMC.
Kaiden is a TOP TIER book boyfriend I swear the poetry this man spills from his lips in relation to Iris…it will bring you to your knees!
Iris is everything we all want and need in a top tier fierce FMC
Though there is betrayal and hurt and this book will answer some questions but leave you with more it all seems to work! Add in a sprinkling of cameos from characters like Ava and Logan, hilarious side characters like Sam and Malik and tie is off with that draw dropping cliffhanger that leaves you aching for more immediately…you know you’re done for Lucia claims another life long reader
I’m telling you it just keeps getting better. Overall a 5⭐️read for me and a 3🌶️ almost 4! I will not stop recommending and reading her books you’re in for a wild ride with her series and it’s one you’re gonna want to strap in for and hold on tight!

Iris, a hellseeker, reflects on breaking the cardinal rule — never trust a demon — after falling for a powerful Elite demon, Kaiden, in Ashville. But betrayal leaves her heartbroken, and as her world unravels, she discovers shocking secrets that challenge everything she thought she knew about herself and reality.
Even if the action doesn't take place in autumn it felt like the perfect spooky autumn read. The ghosts, the graveyards, walking through an evil forest, witches and hexes, tarot reading. Paired with the playlist Lucia prepared... perfection.
I enjoyed this way more than the first one... maybe because it was more action packed or because as soon as Iris discovers a crumb of truth more questions and mistery followed. Love when that happens.
I have to give it to Iris, she is one strong woman. The hardships she's been thru are not for the faint of heart, but she survived it and fought all the demons (from within her and the real ones) with all her might.
I loved that Iris kept Kaiden on his toes, even if her heart was torn to pieces to do that. He really needed to grovel, even if I understand in part his motivations.
And I really loved Sam... her loyalty and spunkiness was the neccesary spice and made the book even more enjoyable (I smell in the future a book about her... she deserves it).
As for the Order of Stupid... what a bunch of snobs. They are selfish, cruel and not that pure as they want you to think they are. Cowards, the lot of them. And yes they fight demons, but is that all there is to be considered good? I don't think so.
In short, Lucia Skye wrote an amazing book once more and I can't wait for the next one... especially after that ending.

whhaaaat this book was so good. I cant thank Lucia enough for sending me the arc.
this carries on from book one and dives right back in to the plot. This one has double POV and im so here for Kaidens POV.
kaiden is by far the best writen MMC I've read about in a long time. this book follows the mission to find out what the prophecy is and this leads them to the fae realm ( knew there would be more to the fae 😁😁) iris seems to go on a journey of self discovery learning secrets about herself and the order and her powers.
the side characters seem to be more prominent in this book and are so so good and relatable. im going straight on to Lucias other book as I dont want to leave the world she has created.

I love this series with my whole heart. Where to start? The secrets revealed, the critical character backstories, the action scenes, the cliffhanger ending……..this book was phenomenal. I now cannot wait for Malik’s book. He just became one of the most interesting characters and I need to know more about him and Sam.
I’m obsessed with Kaiden Black. He is book boyfriend perfection.

Beneath that hardened exterior lies a man utterly smitten. And the way he so vulnerably pours his heart out for Iris?? ❤️🔥 I cannot. 😭 My heart was constantly hemorrhaging. Honestly, I wanted to shake Iris a few times, but she’s clearly working through some heavy stuff, so she gets a pass. I’m rooting for her growth arc.
Because misery loves company - a couple quotes that wrecked me:
On a more positive note... The side characters continue to shine. Sam remains the slightly chaotic, fiercely loyal best friend we all need - she could 100% carry her own spin-off or novella. Ava and Emily bring warmth and belonging, grounding Iris when she needs it most. Malik is pure entertainment every time he flirts with Iris just to get under Kaiden’s skin. Malik, Dominic, and Logan are still giving total “Inner Circle,” and the found family dynamic that’s forming is everything. As for Noah… he’s finally starting to reveal his true nature, and I’m still so curious about his time away and the impact it’s had on him.

On a more positive note... The side characters continue to shine. Sam remains the slightly chaotic, fiercely loyal best friend we all need - she could 100% carry her own spin-off or novella. Ava and Emily bring warmth and belonging, grounding Iris when she needs it most. Malik is pure entertainment every time he flirts with Iris just to get under Kaiden’s skin. Malik, Dominic, and Logan are still giving total “Inner Circle,” and the found family dynamic that’s forming is everything. As for Noah… he’s finally starting to reveal his true nature, and I’m still so curious about his time away and the impact it’s had on him.
A Prophecy of Chaos and Blood is thrilling, emotional, and impossible to put down - packed with witty banter, heart, adventure, and a world that keeps deepening with every chapter. And that ending? If you thought book one’s cliffhanger was bad… this one looked it dead in the eye and said, “hold my beer.” 😭
Side note: Once I finished, I immediately went back to reread key Kaiden + Iris scenes from A Wicked Dance of Obsidian and Light - and knowing what I know now? WHEW. They hit so much harder. ❤️🔥

After the ending of book one, I was dying for this book. And after the cliffhanger at the end of this book, my poor heart is going to break, having to wait to find out what happens next!
This book was amazing. Packed full of action right from the beginning that it keeps you hooked. The writing and the world-building are incredible, and the story really just flows so well.
Iris is a total badass! She's strong, independent and she'll most likely be the one saving you instead of being saved.

rcvd an advanced reader copy from the author for giving my review voluntarily. one word...WOW!! We met Hellseeker Iris and her demon savior Kaiden in the previous book. Iris is in shock at what she did to Erik in the alley. something is very wrong with her and doesn't know what to do about it. kaiden won't let Iris out of his site after the injuries she had. Iris overhears pertinent information about her life and confronts Kaiden and that does it for Iris. With her heart broken she goes back on missions only to learn about a large bounty on Hell for her plus her mom's file is classified. there is smtg fishy going on in the Order especially when a female werewolf is captured and it's against the treaty. Iris and her elderly neighbor are attacked by demons and she is told to seek out an oracle who will tell her about the Prophecy. Iris is a magnet for trouble and finding the oracle will lead her into more danger but it's worth it if she finds out the truth. drama, deceit, omg moments make this a good read. next one please!

I love the hierarchy of creatures, the magic systems are different from other stories I’ve read. I love that all side characters have main character energy and great complexities while being all so different and individual, they need their own books too asap! (Logan and Ava’s story was swoon as well).
I love Iris’ journey from always being physically strong to also becoming mentally stronger, knowing who she is and is always a bad ass, can’t wait to see where she is at the end of her journey. Iris and Sam’s friendship is so refreshing and a wonderful representation of real strong female friendships.

A Prophecy of Chaos and Blood throws you straight back into the heart of the story, picking up immediately where A Wicked Dance of Obsidian and Light left off. There’s no recap or gentle easing in; Lucia dives straight into the chaos. It assumes you’ve read book one and rewards you with a continuation that’s fast-paced, emotionally charged, and full of surprises.
The characters remain as compelling as ever, their emotions running high and their choices driving much of the tension. At times, their poor communication made me want to reach into the pages and knock some sense into them, but that frustration also speaks to how invested I was.
The atmosphere throughout is immersive and vivid. Skye creates an energy that’s tangible and alive. The passage of time there occasionally seemed off, with moments feeling unnaturally compressed. Still, these are minor distractions in what is an otherwise gripping experience.
What stands out most is the plot itself, a thrilling continuation full of unexpected turns and gasp-worthy revelations. Skye’s twists are unpredictable in the best way; I genuinely didn’t see several of them coming. The pacing is brisk and engaging, and I devoured this book in just a couple of sittings.
While a few connections between side characters, left me slightly puzzled, the overall logic of the world and story holds firm. Everything ties together well enough to keep the tension and intrigue alive.

I don’t know if I’ll ever get over Kaiden - I love his character so much! This book had a lot going on but remained cohesive enough to not be overwhelming for me. I’m definitely going to be continuing this series!
The writing was also a bit repetitive at times but it wasn’t super distracting or irritating for me personally.

I liked the expansion of the world in this book! It took it beyond the real-life setting of the urban fantasy and added something new and exciting.
I enjoy the magic system in this series as well! It’s not difficult to learn and is unique in the types of powers the light and dark creatures have. The addition of some dark creatures that are more common, like vampires, wolves and other shifters, also makes it easy to enter this world.
THE CHARACTERS
A lot happened in this book with Iris and her character development! We got more of her backstory and learned about her mother a bit more which I loved. I also really like that there’s still more to learn about her and her mother, so I have something to look forward to in the next series. I think we’ll get a lot more development from her as well as seeing her grow even more.
I’m obsessed with Kaiden and every tiny bit of his backstory that we get makes me like him even more.
I found the side characters to also be getting more depth, like Sam and Malik. Overall, I’m happy with it!

A Prophecy of Chaos and Blood is book two in the Echoes of Darkness series, and it picks up right where the first one left off. This series has completely sunk its claws into me, and I am addicted.
The characters are so beautifully written that they hook into you in the best way possible, making you never want their stories to end. Everyone needs a friend like Sam… actually, scratch that, I need a friend like Sam. The way Lucia writes Iris and Sam’s connection feels so raw and real that it practically leaps off the page. And can we talk about that bathroom scene?! Omg, it was hotttt AF. I was giggling and sweating my way through the entire thing. If you are looking for a new shadow daddy, Kaiden is where it’s at!
You’re right there beside Iris as she uncovers her past, piecing everything together one revelation at a time. I had this gut feeling that a cliffhanger was coming around the 90% mark, but I was not prepared for that level of chaos. Lucia, that ending was pure torture in the best possible way, and now I’m absolutely desperate for the next book.

Kindle (ARC) - story continues and we get a world grouping on how Fated Hearts wolf shifter story plays into this part with the Obsidian Conclave. Iris' continues to have 2 possible suitors with Noah's return and Kaiden's continued dedication to her. We also learn more about her previous life as her memories come back to her. Her tie to Kaiden as well as more on page interactions with Noah. The memories also make her realize the massive inconsistencies of the 'laws' vs. actual treatment and how the leaders are not in alignment. Her new memories takes Iris and team on further adventures to find more details about who she really is and why her memories were blocked along with why her parents car accident is considered 'classified'. Book ends on another cliff hanger setting the reader up for the next book in the series. Character development continues, more with their growth given main characters developed and introduced in earlier book and Iris as she learns more and more about her past. Though we get more introspective into supporting characters. The relationship development further between Iris and Kaiden is glorious and his level of dedication and love for her shows more and more. Can't wait for the next book in this couples story.

I received this book as an arc, I read the prequel book and the first book in preparation for this book.
I was NOT disappointed.
The twisty turns, the backstory, the plot twists… I could guess what was going to happen. Then something totally different happened.
I love the enemies to lovers to enemies (sorta) again. I will always be a die hard fated mates number one fan. The bond between the fmc and mmc is just unreal. I can feel the burning passion through the pages.
Loved the representation of different creatures, the portal ling was a great addition, I’m hoping to see more of the fae!
This book is emotionally damaging, every time you think it can’t get anymore soul destroying, THINK AGAIN.
Spicy spice but doesn’t detract from the story line. I can’t get enough of your books Lucia. I need more…

Wow, just like with the other 2 books, I couldn’t put this one down! There were lots of twists and action packed into this one that kept me reading to see what the heck what going to happen next!
I really loved the dual POV, so that we were able to get a little glimpse into Kaidens thoughts. I am completely obsessed with him. Iris truly doesn’t know how lucky she is!
If you love Buffy the Vampire Slayer I think you will really enjoy this series!! It feels like I’m watching my comfort show while I’m reading!

This picked up right where the previous book left off! There was never a dull moment. I really loved the deeper delve into everything. There was a lot more push and pull between Iris and Kaiden, and sometimes, I just wanted Iris to let herself trust him and be happy, but it’s also so understandable on her end, because once that trust is broken, it’s so difficult to earn back. Kaiden never gives up for a single moment. The scene in the bathroom was so freaking hot! Absolutely loved it. This left me with so many more questions than answers, so I’m so fricken excited for the next book. This time, there was a lot more of an emotional punch, I found myself tearing up a few times with certain situations. The cliffhanger was BRUTAL!! But I’m so ready for it and it only left me more excited for the next book!

Still good. Thankfully the plot deviates from the Dark Elements series like I had commented about in book one’s review. The only thing I find annoying is when Iris is mad at Kaiden, she resorts to acting like kid. Literally stomping her feet, yelling “I hate you!” and just overall being really immature. I’m interested to see how the prophesy turns out.

Omg Lucia Skye does it again! What a book! Such an epic continuation from A Wicked Dance of Obsidian and Light, this book is just bloody brilliant! If you love a broody MMC, toucher her and die, she is mine vibe then omg is this one for you! I literally cannot wait to see what comes next!!!

I’ll just say the little Easter Eggs I find that sing to my soul are my favorite! Iris loves her some Vampire Diaries and Bad Omens ❤️
This is an urban fantasy that takes place in Asheville, NC - the world building and the character details make you feel like you can see everything you’re reading. There are some trips she takes you on to other worlds which I love when it’s sprinkled into an urban setting- she references Seelie and Unseelie which brings me memories of another favorite series of mine!
Lucia has such a talent for detail without it being drawn out or lack luster- you just want to devour every word on the page.
The way the first book ended had me on the edge of my seat for the last 6 months- and I was clawing at the chance to get at this book as soon as possible! And now I’m right back where I started after finishing APoCaB. The endings to her books are exhilarating!
Iris is a badass FMC- she’s strong willed and has a fiery temper- defiantly gives Kaiden a run for his money.
Kaiden earned a spot in my top book boyfriend list- he’s broody, but is brought to his knees 🤭 more than a few times by our beloved FMC. His past and family history makes me love him even more.
Sam is the best friend every girl needs- and I love hearing about Ava and Logan (from Fated Hearts- the prequel stand alone) if you haven’t read this please do you will not regret it!
I also just love Malik and Kaiden’s friendship and you really grow to love the side characters just as much as the main characters.
The story gives you so many mysterious clues and hints for what’s to come and it keeps the reader engaged throughout the book always wanting more- when you discover things you’ll be 😱
This series has 100% made it into my short top tier book list and I’ll never stop telling people to read this series!!
