Tiffany grew up in Sydney, Australia and has never written one of these before. She likes wine, nuggets, good books, tattoos and zombie movies. She strongly dislikes laundry - something there was an endless supply of while writing.

In her free time you can find her with her husband and kids, all of whom keep her so busy, it’s a miracle she even managed to write the name of her first book, let alone all that followed.

It’s no secret that I am the self declared #1 fan of Artura x Thorn and that I will forever shout from the rooftops about Queen of Poison and Fire, to which I have a dedicated shelf in my library. Well… it looks like I need a 2nd shelf! King of Blood & Tides was an absolutely incredible read. If I could give it ten stars I would!

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One thing I can find tedious in fantasy novels is when an author struggles to blend the world building in seamlessly, but Tiffany manages to blend it so beautifully into the story that nothing feels forced, confusing or difficult, you just feel like you’re in the scene itself. The characters feel like family, you become attached from the start and Artura’s healing and growth in this book was *chefs kiss* and just SO well done.

Thorn… I don’t even know where to start, but we have booktoks newest book boyfriend! 🥵

Tiffany, thank you for once again letting me be an ARC reader, I LOVE this series so much and cannot wait to buy my new shelfies, and copies for everyone I know for Christmas.

Arc read

Thank you to Tiffany for allowing me to arc read for you again

“I’m right here”……”are you? I feel like only part of you escaped the mountain”

King of Blood & Tides is book 2 in the Artura x Thorn series.

As expected from Tiffany’s writing, we have trauma, darkness and strength with bold, amazing characters and a fantastic storyline.

We see Artura coming to terms with the immense amounts of trauma she has faced so far whilst also adapting to what it means to be a queen alongside her husband Thorn (this man I swear to god 🥵) you thought his lines were good in QOP&F - I raise you:

“Either you’re going to do us all a favour and get out of your head and the downward spiral I can see you’re on… or I’ll f**k you out of it.. your choice”

I look forward to the next book, and seeing how all of our favourites fare.

A dance of flesh and flame 5⭐️
Queen of poison and fire 5⭐️
King of blood and tides 5⭐️

The first two books were amazing, stay in your head forever reads and King of Blood and Tides was just as exciting and memorable.

The Artura x Thorn series is a dramatic and action packed ride with a couple who choose each other every time.

Artura and Thorn have such a deep love and offer genuine support of one another which itself is captivating, and then you have the epic story of the evil King determined to cause them as much harm as possible while the leaders of their own kingdom seek to bring them down.

Thankfully they have a found family which continues to grow and surround them with the care and support they need to keep going.

The author has a talent for making me care about all the characters in a way that makes me feel everything they feel. Reading about the trials they all face hurts deeply… there is emotional trauma involved! But this connection makes the reading experience feel like I’m living it, and that is exactly what I want in my books. That cliffhanger though… woah!

I am here for ALL the books I can get in this series, novellas of the amazing side characters, books continuing the journey with Artura and Thorn, bring them all!!!

This is book two of the series and I could NOT put it down! Tiffany, you did not disappoint with this one!!

King of Blood and Tides picks up not long after the end of book 1 “Queen of Poison and Fire” we see a different dynamic between Artura and Thorne in the beginning. She is still processing and healing from her time trapped in Dearmond and it's easy to see she is struggling to return to a new normal as they make their way to Thorne's kingdom where she will have to be Queen.

I loved this book so much and the progression of Artura’s growth as a character! And the ending made me SO happy! But also sad! (You know what you did!)

A fabulous follow up to Queen of Poison and Fire, we get to continue Artura and Thorn’s story. She’s escaped the clutches of her sadistic father just to be thrown into royal life. At least she’s got Thorn by her side to help her along! However not everyone at court is pleased to see her, including her own sister. Artura and Thorn’s adventures are not done as the story twists and turns in ways that you’ll never see coming. I was an advanced reader for this book and am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you Tiffany! I cant wait to see how the story continues!

I was not sure how this book was going to play out. The love Arturo and Thorn have for each other has face lots of trials and tribulations. Who can you trust? What is real or not? Arturo trust for everyone lead her again down the wrong but right path. Everything about her past was it truly a lie? People are not whom they seem while others you assume are the worst are not…or are they? The cliff hanger…air kisses loved it. See you again sister…and I for one cannot wait.

Book two of Artura and Thorn's series has them home, with Thorn talking his rightful place as King. Not all are enthused by Artura being Queen, however.
While I liked this book, Artura's behaviour in the last half really frustrated me. She was being ridiculously naive despite all the warnings signs. I wanted to talk some sense into her!
But apart from that, I enjoyed it. I liked the twists, and the ending was intriguing, I need to know more!

ARC review - thank you Tiffany Parker for this opportunity, it was a wild ride!
4.25⭐ 2.25🌶️

This book made me experience a whole range of emotions. So as a yellow reader, that's what I want. I went from sadness to hope, feeling awe and entertainment, to finally shouting in rage and cheering.

In this second volume, we delve into an Artura who is more traumatized than ever and feels lost in this world that seems to offer only cruelty and suffering. This is a journey of healing and rediscovering herself, outside of the titles/lapels imposed upon her. It was interesting to read about Artura adapting to her new reality. It was realistic, with its ups and downs, and worth it at the end 🙌🏻. Thorn was still the biggest simp for his wife and I gobbled up!

I am curious to see what happens next, how events will develop and the repercussions of the characters' behavior.

I was fortunate to read the arcs of both books and honestly, I found King of Blood and Tide to be even better!
This series was full of trauma, strength, suspense and spice! An action packed storyline with tropes like:
- Romantasy
- Arranged marriage (sort of lol you just need to read it to understand!)
- Who hurt you?
- Found Family
- Strong FMC
- Trials
- Royal Life
Just to name a few!

Artura faced so many challenges and trauma that her journey and growth through the series meant so much more.
And of course, Thorn was always there to support her. He was the perfect bookish husband. It was beautiful to see that they always had each other’s back

Once again, Tiffany has a very good writing style that drew me in straight away.

Thank you Tiffany for a chance to read the arc and review the sequel!

We return to Artura and Thorn after the confrontation with Helmar and her escape from dearmond. This book was quite heavy in places, but so refreshing to see a FMC actually struggle to work through her trauma and struggle to move on from what happened to her.

Thorn and Artura are well written as characters and there were some fun bits there as well to make the heavier parts more palatable.

I really enjoyed this book, and the ending! wow! I was glad I was reading on my phone because the emotional damage inflicted may have made me throw the book against the wall.

100% was not disappointed in this book!

Tiffany did it again! This book was full of love, moments of peace, chaos, and anticipation. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It’s the first book I actually read slowly because I didn’t want it to end.

Artura’s journey through post-trauma was beautiful and never overbearing. So many fantasy authors drag readers through hundreds of pages of what feels like filler, all focused on the main character’s internal struggle. I LOVEEEEED that Tiffany didn’t do that. Artura’s growth and change were subtle, real, and so well done.

Thank you Tiffany for letting me be part of your Arc team for this book ❤️

King of blood & Tides was yet another master piece. I found myself feeling everything the characterd felt, loved when they loved, hurt when they hurt.

This book had it all trauma, darkness, suspence, spice and found family. I found myself reading slowly so i could savour every word. I am looking forward to seeing where Artura and Thorn's journey takes them next.

Was go grateful to be able to read the ARC of Artura and Thorn's story!
Book one (Queen of Poison and Fire) has lived in my head rent free since I first read it, and King of Blood and Tides will be exactly the same.
Parker is SO GOOD at delivering a story that really takes me on a full journey and emotional roller coaster!
Loved it! 😍

I’ve really enjoyed reading this. Tiffany is good in Romantasy writing, she’ll get you hooked not only with the main characters but even the other characters too. I cant wait to read the next book about Viane as her story is interesting as well. Seems like Cerana would also be an interesting villain. Thanks for sending me the ARC for this.
