BOOK REVIEW: 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄
AUTHOR: 𝐑𝐀𝐇𝐔𝐋 𝐁𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐈

🂱 If you're searching for something witty yet relatable you're in a right place. Here my plan is to show you something different and offbeat yet a mood booster - I'm talking about Rahul Bhandari's recently published book COLLECTED WITH SMILE: A COMEDY ANTHOLOGY FOR THE SLIGHTLY TWISTED. ✨

🂱 The stories do not promise you to make you laugh at every other page but they offer you to find smiles and surprises in a most unexpected manner. I don't know why those characters are so related to me - as if they're my neighbouring uncles and aunts who share their whereabouts without any reason and purposes.🕊️

🂱 It is the mirror of the society - they are happening but sometimes you ignore them or sometimes they don't make any sense. But COLLECTED WITH SMILE gives you the essence which you've missed. The sole purpose of living this beautiful life - to find smiles in every corner. And obviously there's no way that you can miss laughing without knowing what's inside. This book feels light and purposely meaningful.🎯

🂱 If you are asking me then “SHAADI.EXE - LOVE, LAUGHTER & LOGINS” works for me like magic - other stories are laughable and full of meaningful scenarios but this very chapter is relatable for me. How Rohit Chopra was thoroughly devastated by his own dadi's matchmaking decisions - that is not actually so bad. But it is actually hilarious at some point but at last it turns out to be something else. Maybe that's the magic of storytelling. 🪐

Daadi took the mic.

"I spent years trying to get my grandson married. Turns out, I was the one who needed a match. And I found him-in a WhatsApp group full of gossip, emojis, and unexpected love."

She raised her glass.

"To second chances. To smart boys who finally learn to feel. And to aunties who never stop matchmaking.”

🂱 There are eight short, quirky and humorous stories to make you smile. Whenever I try to stop smiling, this book reminds me - don't worry I'm already laughing with you. They're not easy jokes or mind games that you can pass on but rather they include friendly characters that stay with you. After a long stressful day, it is a stress buster for me to begin with.💗

Twisted comedy is all about flipping the ordinary upside down and finding laughs in the most unexpected corners. It’s the kind of humour that surprises you, teases your sense of right and wrong, and makes you grin at life’s weirdness. Rahul Bhandari’s new book - "Collected With Smile: A Comedy Anthology for the Slightly Twisted" nails this perfectly, giving readers a cheeky ride where everyday moments turn into hilarious, offbeat adventures.

This book is proof that laughter really is the best medicine. Each story is sprinkled with wit, crazy twists, and punch lines that sneak up on you. Instead of going for easy jokes, Bhandari mixes satire with meaning—so while you’re laughing, you’re also nodding in recognition. The comedy swings between dry, subtle humour and laugh-out-loud absurdity, all while reminding you not to take life too seriously.

"Collected With Smile" is truly fun for its quirky bunch of characters. They’re messy, flawed, and oh-so-human—wandering through strange situations, having conversations full of hidden emotions, and even stepping into slightly spooky settings. The result? Stories that make you chuckle at life’s oddities while also leaving you with something to think about. The writing is distinctive and engaging, keeping the reader interested.

Watch out for chandeliers and mirrors— who knows, your friends might be communicating from those places? Spooky .... yeah it's Halloween Time, friends!

Foolpur -you never know where innovation might strike! Who would’ve thought three ordinary folks and their buffalo could end up on such wild adventures? Yet that’s exactly the kind of unpredictable fun Rahul Bhandari stirs up in his book.

From Justice Jalebis to Redemption Rasam, author Rahuls's writing is as bizarrely brilliant as it sounds. It’s the same energy that made Panipuri ice cream go viral—equal parts “wait, what?” and “why do I secretly love this?” And if you’ve ever binged Thugesh on YouTube, you already know the vibe: unexpected, hilarious, and impossible to forget.

With eight tales in the mix, the book is a delightful combo of surprises, giggles, and endings you won’t see coming. Sometimes mysterious, sometimes mischievous, but always entertaining, Rahul Bhandari’s storytelling is the kind that lingers. "Collected With Smile: A Comedy Anthology for the Slightly Twisted" isn’t just a comedy collection—it’s a mood booster, a thought-stirrer, and a gentle nudge to laugh your way through life’s twists.

Read with a smile and end it with a big smile!

Let’s be honest, life can be a lot. Sometimes, what you really need isn’t a serious self-help book, but something that feels like a good, long chat with a hilarious friend. That’s exactly what “Collected With Smile” is. This book is like a little vacation for your brain, a collection of short, funny stories that are perfect for when you have five minutes to spare and need to reset your mood.

The stories are clever and quirky. They don’t just go for the easy joke; they have a sharp, observant kind of wit that makes you laugh and then think, “Wow, that’s so true.” You’ll meet all sorts of characters—some you’ll recognize from your own life, others who are wonderfully bizarre. Each tale is a quick bite of comedy, and the variety means there’s something for whatever kind of funny you’re in the mood for.

What I loved most is that it doesn’t try too hard. The humor feels natural, like the author is just sharing a bunch of inside jokes with you. It’s the kind of book you can keep on your nightstand or in your bag for a guaranteed smile during a boring commute. It honestly delivers on its promise to lighten your perspective.

If you’re feeling weighed down by the news, work, or just the general chaos of existing, this book is a fantastic remedy. It’s a reminder not to take everything so seriously. “Collected With Smile” is a warm, witty, and genuinely fun read that feels like a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to trade a sigh for a giggle.

"Collected With Smile" truly lives up to its name. The stories are quirky, fun, and filled with that sharp wit which instantly pulls you in. I loved how each tale had its own unique twist and turn, some made me laugh out loud, others left me to think more.

What stood out for me was the way humor was blended with meaning. It wasn’t just silly jokes or over-the-top comedy, there’s satire, cleverness, and a touch of reality that makes you think while you’re laughing. I love how author deeply added the meaning in the book. The stories are just fun , I love the characterization so realistic ....one is my most most favourite is "Maria", the part of daadi 's voice ....i loved it.

If you’re looking for something light after a long, stressful day, or just want a collection that brings genuine joy, this one is a perfect pick. The characters are funny, bizarre, and memorable in their own ways, and the punchlines are the kind that stick with you. A book that entertains, lifts your mood, and reminds you not to take life too seriously. I read the series of book and it's the third one. And my second most favourite out of three. I suggest to you to read all three books by him you will feel the essence of pain , love and laughter. Highly recommended this one.

Collected With Smile by Rahul Bhandari is a refreshing, witty, and delightfully offbeat collection of stories that remind you how healing laughter can be. Each story offers a slice of everyday absurdity — the kind we all experience but rarely pause to laugh at. What makes this book special is its clever balance of humor and insight; it’s not just about giggles, it’s about perspective.

Rahul’s writing is crisp, smart, and effortlessly funny — the kind that sneaks in wisdom between laughs. The characters feel familiar, the dialogues are sharp, and the humor, though quirky at times, feels incredibly real. It’s the kind of book that you can pick up anytime you need to unwind or reset your mood.

In a world that often feels too serious, Collected With Smile is a reminder that joy, humor, and light-heartedness still matter — maybe now more than ever.

A must-read for anyone who believes laughter truly is the best medicine.

What makes "Collected With Smile" special is its sincerity. Rahul Bhandari doesn’t exaggerate — he observes. Every story feels rooted in real life, but with a humorous twist that makes you giggle at things you once took seriously. His writing feels spontaneous, but it’s deeply crafted.

This book is like a quiet reminder that life is funny if we’re willing to notice. The humor is gentle, organic, and genuinely heart-warming. For anyone who loves slice-of-life stories with a comic soul, this book is pure joy.
