When I picked this up, I only had time to read a few chapters. But I found myself rearranging my schedule and reading it straight through. At first it was curiosity. The main character is far from the typical protagonist and instead faces the life of an underdog that so many face in reality. But there is just something special about him. Reality can be brutal, as can life. I don't want to give away any of the plot so, I'll just say sometimes even every day people can rise above their situations and make real differences in the world.
