GREEK A THRILLER

When freshman Leighton Adams arrives at Cabot University—a quiet campus tucked into small town Alabama—she's focused on more than just her Criminal Justice degree. She's after answers.

Last year, two Alpha Omega sorority sisters disappeared without explanation. The case went cold. The campus moved on. But she can't let it go.

Determined to uncover what really happened, she joins the same sorority. But as she's pulled into the world of mixers and secrets, Leighton realizes this mystery is far from over—and getting too close might be dangerous.

Because at Cabot, the past doesn't rest. It waits.

Cruise Book #1 (& we haven’t even set sail yet 🤪)

First off, I picked this up after seeing a TikTok video about it & because I liked the cover. Also, I went to college in AL & of course I had to read to see all the references!

I read this all in one day because I was intrigued enough to figure out how the mystery ends (no spoilers from me though), which is the major hallmark for me of a good thriller if you can’t put it down.

I did notice a few grammar & spelling errors, but more in the first part of the book than the second. Also, a little nitpicky, but I feel like a lot of scenes/chapters ended with our POV character(s) falling asleep. Neither of these took me out of the story, but I did notice them.

Congrats to the author for publishing her debut novel!! I would read more from her in the future 🎉

I found this book from a Tik Tok that Phynley made and I felt instantly connected as someone who just graduated with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. The book had great detail, was easy to follow along, and had a great twist at the end! Great job!!

I read this in a day 🥵 thank god TikTok didn’t lead me astray with this one. I’ve read a lot of thrillers so it takes quite a bit to impress me these days. This was fun! The story wrapped up with a perfect pink (& slightly bloody) bow 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I can’t wait to see more from Phynley

Pretty Little Liars meets Gossip Girl in this unputdownable mystery! 🏛️🔍

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I just finished Greek Row by Finley Myers, and I am officially obsessed! If you are a fan of the dark, elite drama of Gossip Girl, the "who-can-you-trust" tension of Pretty Little Liars, and the campy, high-stakes suspense of Scream Queens, this indie gem is a mandatory addition to your TBR.
The story follows a determined criminology major who transfers to a prestigious university with a dark past: two girls vanished from the Greek system exactly one year ago. To secure her spot in the competitive program, she decides the only way in is to solve the disappearance herself. She goes full "undercover" moving into the missing girls' old dorm and joining their sorority only to find herself much deeper in the mystery than she ever imagined.
What I loved:
• The Atmosphere: The "dark academia" vibes are immaculate. It perfectly captures that prestigious, slightly suffocating college environment where everyone has a secret.
• The Pacing: I absolutely devoured this from start to finish; the momentum never lets up.
• The Twists: I thought I had the ending figured out at least three different times, and I was wrong every single time! The plotting is incredibly tight and kept me guessing until the very last page.
Finley Myers is a brilliant new voice in the indie suspense world. She is already working on a second book, and there is even a Christmas novella available to help with the "book hangover" after you finish this one.
If you love a mystery that keeps you on your toes and features a smart, driven FMC, go grab Greek Row immediately.

No because the plot twist was INSANE. I saw this on tik tok and thought it was gonna be a cute read something easy and quick. I felt bored in the beginning and felt like it dragged on for a few chapters but once I hit 75% on my kindle I had to finish it. my jaw dropped at least 4 times. Absolutely incredible. I do wish the ending was longer and the chapters weren’t just recaps, I would have loved to read the events in real time. 4 stars simply for the twist at the end.

i’m not sure how realistic it was for Riley to be alive and how no one at the hospital recognized her face when she went missing. And I absolutely needed more context on Gracie’s end.

the last half of the book was too good that it made up for the slow first half, but I understand it was necessary to include those key details. SO. GOOD.

Also knowing this is a debut novel is crazy! So much intricate detail and attention went into this book. I can’t wait to read more from this Author 💓

omg this was so good!!! i originally picked this up because it literally reminded me of myself, with me being a recent college graduate, majoring in criminal justice and also a recent sorority alumna! this was me and cas’s book club pick for this month and i was so excited when she revealed this as her march pick! i was on the edge of my seat the whole time and i was giggling too because some of the main character’s sorority experience and her experience with fraternities is so similar to mine.

even though i surprisingly guessed the twist at the end, i was still shocked because i definitely did not suspect the person who actually did it until like a few chapters before the reveal. i wish people wrote more books about sororities and this debut author did a great job!!

Even though I didn’t have nearly close to a college experience as this book is set in it made me feel like I was back living down the hall from all my friends and also taking trips up to umass :(( It felt different than other thrillers I’ve read and I think it’s because the author is young so I felt like I was actually in the story or even reading something my friend wrote which I ATE up

This was really fun, with plenty of drama to keep me turning the pages, and I liked the overall vibe and characters. While a few moments did feel a bit contrived or slightly cringey, they didn’t take away from how entertaining the book was as a whole.

Greek row had such an amazing concept and it shows the answer can be in front of you at all times. It had me making multiple theories, and I even thought Riley’s sister was Marley at some point. It was such a good book.

Such a good quick read! The characters are easy to get invested in, and it being set in a small-town college made it easier to get immersed in the story. I really enjoyed (even though I did predict the twist correctly 😏)!

As a washed up, elderly sorority girl I wanted to love this. There were many moments where I got to reminisce on srat days past, but really couldn’t get over the amount of spelling errors, typos or inconsistent information page to page.

I saw the author post a tiktok one day and I bought it right away. I really liked the book, I definitely guessed it about half way through though… but it still kept me intrigued even tho I pretty much knew what was going to happen. Part of the end did suprise me tho, I’d give it 4.5 ⭐️!

A slow burn with lots of detail that felt unnecessary but really were pieces to the puzzle. An ending I didn’t guess but LOVED. I’m a sucker for a cold hearted and calculated killer.
