Delete Me pulled me in ways I didn’t expect. I saw so much of myself in Ivy that some moments were hard to read. I’ve been in a situation like hers before, and because of that, parts of this story hit close to home.

I’m not going to lie… up until about chapter 17, I found Knox hot. 🥵 I don’t know if that makes me sound crazy, but I think that was the point. We’re meant to be pulled in by him the same way Ivy was—to want him, to ride that emotional chaos right alongside her. It’s raw, uncomfortable, and incredibly human.

What really stood out to me was how poetic the writing felt. There’s a rhythm to it, like the author wasn’t just telling a story but bleeding truth onto every page. It’s heavy and real, but also empowering. Watching Ivy find her voice was powerful.

This isn’t an easy read—definitely check the trigger warnings—but it’s one that lingers. It’s messy and painful, but it speaks to survival, to finding yourself again after losing so much.

This is the first I’ve read by this author and it made me feel all the emotions of Ivy, the FMC. I read this in one sitting because I literally couldn’t put it down.

This follows Ivy who gets caught up in an emotionally abusive situationship with Knox. She develops feelings for him. He only sees her as a possession and wants control over her. He molds her into someone powerless where she doesn’t even recognize herself. She is made to feel unseen, erased, no longer herself. She struggles with the tug of war inside her that wants to be free of him yet wants him and can’t seem to walk away. He ends up breaking her. And it is up to her to find a way to stop the cycle and take her power back.

This is a dark read. It has many heavy topics. Check your TW before reading. This book will definitely be one I think of and recommend.

I don’t even know where to start. This book was absolutely amazing. I can’t give it enough stars. I felt this story in my soul because I was Ivy. I feel like this book was made just for me. I was broken and battered and used and I feel like this book gives so many of us who have been in that situation the justice and courage we need to break the cycle. I cried reading this because so many times in my life I was in the same situation as the FMC I didn’t have the strength or the courage to fight back, or to even want better for myself, I didn’t feel like I deserved better. This book will always have a special place in my heart and I will carry its words with me wherever I go! Thank you Justine for giving us a voice when we were afraid to find ours. Happily ever after doesn’t exist, at least not for some of us, but we can give ourselves the strength to get up and move on and be a better version of ourselves.

Emotional gripping story.

Please make sure you read the trigger warnings before reading. I started reading this book and wondered how did Justine Case know my story. I saw myself and felt like I was being heard for the first time. It is emotionally gripping and hard to put down. This book tells the story from the survivors point of view. How it all starts and how you are manipulated into staying, believing that you are being loved. Ivy's life with Knox shows just how much one can be changed by the words and actions of another. Delete Me is a romance and psychological thriller in one. Like Justine says in the very beginning of the book, make sure you are in a good mental space before reading as you can be triggered by this book. Always remember your mental health matters.

I absolutely loved this book, you get to hear her inner dialogue as she goes through the emotions of being with an abusive man and wanting to leave. The rollercoaster she goes on is so real and relatable to anyone that has survived DV.
Definitely check your triggers! This is a short quick read and it'll give you all the feels.

A powerful & poetic read.

Delete Me follows Ivy through her volatile and toxic relationship with Knox. What starts off and hot and exciting easily turns into a situation that Ivy can’t get control of. She promises herself not to get attached. But his smirk, his hands on her, the way he looks at her.. makes her fall for him. That was her biggest mistake.. falling for him.

Knox didn’t want her.. he wants to own her. He wants to consume every part of Ivy that he possibly can.. so much so that she doesn’t know herself anymore. Her former self? Gone.

She tells herself to leave him. To block his number and change the locks on the apartment.. so this way she can’t take him back. But no matter what.. she’s weak when it comes to him. It’s up to her to put a stop to the never ending cycle and take her power back.

I will start off my review by saying this is not an easy read. This is powerful, emotional, devastating. I saw so much of myself in Ivy mainly because I have been through this kind of relationship. You know he’s not good for you.. but can’t stop. Knox was her drug of choice and boy Ivy was addicted. If you have every struggling with taking your power back, this book could be triggering. Please check your trigger warnings. But with the emotional turmoil this book brought, it also brought strength, beauty, and such a poetic writing style.

Definitely started off 2026 with a bang. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

This story pulls you in and doesn’t let you go until the last page. Justine’s writing is poetic and this isn’t just a story. It’s poetic and rhythmic. I would suggest checking your trigger warnings although I will give a round of applause for how Justine approached the topics and portrayed it.

This is a story of a woman under the addiction of a man. A man she hates but her body betrays her. This man messes with her mind and uses her for his use and when he wants/needs her. Ivy just wants to be loved. She wants to save Knox because deep down she has seen the potential of the man he could be. It comes in little spurts. Never last. But she find herself in a war with wanting to reclaim her power, be strong enough to walk away but also wanting to be loved by him. Ivy is pulled into him no matter how hard she tries not to be, no matter how hard she doesn’t want to be.

Ivy comes across an image that image ignites something in Ivy that brings her voice out while she might be scared to speak up and rock those waters, she speaks up for herself. That changes everything.

Knox created a monster, and it’ll whisper in the echoes and remind him of what he created.

This book deals with mental mind games, mental control and I would classify this as a physiological romance. Fantastic job, Justine!

Edit : I originally gave this a 4.75 and rounded up. After as much as I have recommended it…. It’s a five!

The availability of stars to adequately rate this book is questionable. The level of relatability I experienced with Ivy was extraordinary. This is not a romantic novel; it is a poignant exploration of mental abuse and its profound impact on individuals seeking liberation from its grasp. Each page of this book resonated deeply with me, as I found myself closely identifying with every word. I strongly recommend reading this book. If you are grappling with personal struggles, it serves as a powerful reminder that you are not alone in your experiences.

From the very first page, I was completely captivated by the story. I truly love it—it's riveting and feels like a thrilling journey. Ivy is an incredible character, and even though the story has dark. it's undeniably intriguing. I enjoy every moment of it.

Justine crafts a compelling and emotionally resonant story that draws the reader in from the very first page.

In this story, Knox and Ivy begin a situationship - not quite a relationship. Knox is possessive, cruel, and domineering over Ivy. Ivy loses herself in the process, forgetting who she is, her hopes, dreams, and pushes everyone she knows away. Classic mental abuse situation.

Justine includes a quote at the beginning of each chapter, which is a nice touch. The story is written in a very poetic way. I would label this story as a psychological romance.

Delete Me is about remembering yourself, resisting the abuse of others, and cultivating peace within yourself.
