Rate this book
Bound Together by Sin

Rideriel, a scribe of Heaven, is tormented by unholy desires for his fellow angels. Ostracized and alone, he chooses to fall instead of spending eternity as an outcast.

When fate thrusts him into the realm of Hell, he crosses paths with Prince Abaddon, the enigmatic new ruler, who is as dangerous as he is intoxicating.

Rideriel soon finds himself confronting both his deepest fears and hidden carnal longings, all while being imprisoned by the fallen one who holds the key to his transformation.

Dive into this haunting tale that dares to explore themes of power and the price of surrender. Prince Abaddon ensnares the senses while exploring the darkest corners of the heart.

Perfect for readers of gay paranormal erotica, mm gothic fantasy, and dark queer romance.

DNF

Maybe it's me but I'm not liking the book. It's small and I could finish it quickly but why waste my time and the author's time? There's no need for that.
The writing is super weird and I can't get into it. And I just saw that it's not a romance so that's a no from me.
Thank you to GRR and the author for the ARC, but the book is not for me. Hope it is for someone else

Yeah... this wasn't for me. I seriously thought of DNFing it, but as it was me who asked for the ARC (thanks GRR), it seemed disrespectful to not finish it. Plus, it's really short so whatever.

First things first, THIS IS NOT A ROMANCE!!! (at least, Abaddon and Rideriel's story is not), don't be a fool like me and expect that, I should've known since we're talking about Abaddon here. Maybe he'll have a redemption arc in the future, I won't be reading it though.

It has all the things that bothered me in the first one. I didn't care for a single character and the ending was predictable, although I have to say I enjoyed seeing Rideriel's ending, as much as I knew it from the 30% mark.

I wont be returning to this world, or at least, I highly doubt it.

Prince Abaddon is the second book in the Divine Temptations series. In my opinion this series is best read in order. This book was another quick read but it was better than the first book in the series. It maybe that I am just used to the two story narrative. I did think it was a little predictable but that didn't mean it was bad. I'm not sure which I liked better the Abaddon story or the goblin king story I give this book a 3.75 stars so rounded up to 4 stars.

3.75/5. Same as the first, but a bit more bite to it. Both the reality and the blog had more depth to them this time in the emotions department, but the book was still unserious and silly as well. I enjoy the entertainment, and the stories are interesting.

The second book in the Divine Temptations series was quite an improvement over the first. The author really seems to be coming into her writing style, or maybe I'm just getting used to the unique format of her storytelling.

We continue the story of the goblin king Badinel and his minions, while he writes more of the ongoing saga of the angels in heaven and hell. The story jumps around quite a bit, but I found that it broke the tension of the serious angel story with the lighthearted silliness of the goblin king's adventures.

King Badinel shares more of his exploits in the mortal world, and his search for his lost fairy love. Interspersed throughout his blog, he shares bits of the story of Prince Abaddon who is now ruling hell after Satan was ousted in the first book. We also learn more about Rideriel, an angel introduced in the first book.

Despite the way the book is presented, the erotica and romance is only part of the story. There are definitely some spicy scenes but overall there's a lot more plot than smut.

I found this story to be fun and engaging. I'm excited to see what happens in the third installment!

Thank you to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC I received in exchange for my honest review.

Prince Abaddon is the second book in Zwahk Muchoney's Divine Temptations series. If there's going to be a third, I won't be reading it. The way the story in a story is written was jarring. I couldn't connect with either character. Rideriel, angel of Heaven, falls because of his non-angelic desires. We spend way too much time with the "Woe is me". Abandon is just as unlikeable as he was in book one. To be honest, I had signed up to do the advanced reader copies of both books at the same time. And when I so disliked book one, except for Agatha and the silly plotline about making his momma's cookie recipe, I didn't have high hopes for book two. The writing style is still a bit odd to me, But book two was better. Marginally. And that truly isn't that a high rec.
Once again, I wish the star system had half stars, as I wouldn't rate this much above a 3.5.
I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my review.

This was an…interesting read. It has a story within a story. The goblin king tells the story of Abaddon and Rideriel while also entertaining us with what is going on in his life. It jumps back and forth. It surprisingly didn’t bother me and was easy to follow.

I was more interested in Abaddon and Rideriel’s story although the book was more about Rideriel’s journey of finding himself. Abaddon read more like a side character to me and this is not an HEA story between an Angel and Demon.

I ended finding Abaddon totally lacking with the ending. It was not what I expected given he’s a powerful demon. Or I thought he was anyway. I was happy Rideriel found his strength and purpose by the end but I’m not sure I totally got what the author was trying to portray with Abaddon and Rideriel’s relationship, if you could call it that. The read left me with mixed feelings. I haven’t determined if I liked this book or not, lol.

After being irritated by it in the first book I just accepted the two-story narrative in this one which helped my reading experience. Again, I would have wished for a little more depth but the story lines weren't bad. The goblin king story line was more fun and entertaining and I really liked the little dragons. The Abaddon story line was a little bland but with a happy ending I didn't expect in that way.
I doubt this one will become my favourite author but I still enjoyed this new-to-me literary voice.

Exiled goblin king Badinel continues to write over-the-top angel porn.

I find myself charmed by the story of Badinel's life in the mortal realm, from his put-upon retainers to his losses at the hands of sock stealing demons.

The OTT angel porn is...OTT angel porn; however, if we read between the lines of Badinel's descriptions of angel/angel lovin', we can infer that he is both horny and desperate for true romantic companionship.

This isn't the type of book I normally read, but I do find myself wanting to see what else Badinel gets up to.

sock-stealing laundry demons, cricket smoothies, meaty behemoth, gobbling goblin, ding-ding box, sunflower

I'm left wondering if there will be a Book #3. The ending feels like a cliffhanger.

A scribe of heaven, Rideriel is shunned by the other angels. He decides to fall to earth, where, at least, he'll be free and away from their judgment. He comes across Tzyeriel and Satan. Rideriel's life becomes more worse or better? Read it, and find out for yourself.

Abaddon and Rideriel’s story drags you deep into a twisting, turning tunnel where every corner brings a new shock. Their dynamic is intense from the beginning—two powerful personalities clashing in ways that ignite sparks and chaos alike. As the story unfolds, you see how their differences collide, how their tempers flare, and how every twist in their journey pulls them closer even as it threatens to tear them apart. It’s a gripping ride that keeps you hooked, page after page.

Thank you Netgalley and Zwahk Muchoney for sending me this advance review copy for free. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was very similar to the first book in the series. We had a goblin blogger narrator going back and forth talking about their life, while telling us a spicy romance story.

I struggled to get into this one as well, and the constant interruptions was very distracting.

I don't think I will continue the series.

I was tempted to dnr this one as the first took some effort to keep going but glad I persevered. A definite improvement by the author and the storyline and characters were interesting. Im hoping the author continues his momentum book by book as i do think with a bit of a re write this series has alot of promise.

An interesting read. Not a romance but basically a three character study with the goblin king telling the story of Abbadon and Rideriel who do interact but not in the ways I expected. I'm not quite sure where the author is going with this series but I'm willing to go along a bit further to find out.
