Scarlet Lemay always thought her wedding day would be the happiest day of her life. Finally she was in the perfect place in her life to write a story that had been invading her thoughts and dreams for a very long time. That story blossomed into her first novel The Wolfs Maine. She is now currently working on her next novel.

I was blessed to be one of the first to read this wonderful story. Jinni James brings us in my humble opinion one of her best yet! Scarlet is getting married today, or is she? On the day of her wedding, she is looking at herself in the mirror and doesn't feel what she expects to feel, she has the perfect dress, the perfect hair, the perfect makeup, even the perfect shoes, but is Jason the perfect groom? She thinks and feels the lack of passion, they don't even fight. So, she runs - in wonderful fashion from the aisle to the parking lot, her best friends Evie and Gina throw her in the car and they leave. Friends take care of each other!
The adventure begins! Scarlet has never been on her own, so she makes steps to be independent. This means finding a place to live. The hunt for the perfect place is on. After her first adventure in the New York City home search she meets Gina, who brings her attention to a man staring at her, she is sucked into his eyes and can't move. Kismet?
The next day she and Gina go apartment hunting and just as she is about to give up, Rachel tells her please on more place, her boss has a penthouse apartment that is new on the market. She falls in love with the place, and then Rachel's boss turns around, bingo! The man from last night. Ethan Williams. Ethan sees something he likes and he wants Scarlet!
This story is full of twists and turns, that I didn't see coming. A wonderful ride. If you are looking for a new author who writes with quality and believability, Ms. James is one to get to know. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance with some sizzle and spice. The book has romance, some adventure, and a road to forever that we all want.

******ARC FOR HONEST REVIEW******
Can I just say EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER..MOUTH DROP...OMG ARE YOU KIDDING.. yes I have said of those wile reading this book.****SPOILERS*** SO first roller coaster was the runaway bride..next the meeting of Ethan (Jaw Drop) Smooth, Sexy, Knows what he wants...Scarlett is independent and I love that, she is not a needing woman, she has her own business and knows how to handle herself except when it comes to Ethan, I mean what woman would have weak knees after a night of phone sex..Another emotional roller coaster was the fact that her BFF Gina was cheating with her ex-finace Jason (JackA$$) totally blind sided me on that one. Then the fact that Jason is abusive, I mean who saw that coming, But in comes Ethan and I mean he is literally too good to be true I LOVE HIM. And where did Steven the police officer come from, I mean I get weak in the knees with crystal clear blue eyes (Ian Somerhalder**Drools**), he sure was trying to get with Scarlett and it almost happened in Starbucks of all place, but I am glad she ran *Whew*. And Ethan's assistant Rachel this crazy chick was on another planet all together, crushing on your boss I can understand but she took it to a whole other level. Ok I can't give too much away. Just stop reading this review and go buy that book you will not be disappointed.

omg Jinni You ROCK!
this book has a little bit of everything. scarlet has been waiting all of her life to have her dream wedding but when the day comes she does what she knows is right and walks away from Jason . she doesn't believe in love at first sight but when she meets Ethan it love and sparks and magic but several things happen to try to destroy their happiness can they survive everything that is going to be thrown at them?
I love this book!
