Another newer title made in 2022, works within the shonen genre and plays with its rules, yet bends them to some extent to not copy anything.
The main protagonist is killed but is resurrected by a snake god, who says that if he kills another god, he can save his high school love. So far so good. The rest is to a certain degree something we have seen: the hero has a unique and super hardcore good ability, which he needs to polish and learn how to use, we have a secret organization fighting with very cool powers against the bad gods and their spawns with even cooler creatures and their boss is a glass wearing high school girl with a katana - oh <3
I can totally see this as being someone's first shonen manga and encapsulating them the same way as Naruto and Bleach did it for me when I was 12. And somehow that is really cool and makes me happy. Similarities with JJK, Chainsaw-man or even said Bleach are apparent, but at this point saying the genre is so full of copycats and complaining about it is pointless. I feel like that is the strength because everyone can choose their own favourite archetype story.
It has interesting art, no character is extra annoying, it has good pacing and uses known tropes quite well and has a glasses-wearing katana-wielding schoolgirl. I hope this sticks and people like it!

Ein solider Start in die Reihe. In den ersten Kapiteln ist das Artwork noch etwas unterwältigend. In den späteren Kapiteln sieht der Manga aber ganz gut aus. Von der Story her erinnert er ein wenig an „The Crow“.
