Alyssa Wong studies fiction in Raleigh, NC, and really, really likes crows. She was a finalist for the 2016 John W. This one was so focused on the action but it lost sight of the story a long the way. The assassination at the beginning didn't matter much by the end. The art was quite nice and overall this was one of the better Black, White, and Red series that I read.
