The space adventures draw to a close, and we get some more new Joe Kelly/Pepe Larraz Peter Parker childhood flashbacks! Very interesting stuff, I have mixed feelings about Joe Kelly writing stuff for Peter as a child so late in the game here, (we’re almost to issue #1,000!) but it’s all been quite good so I can’t be too mad at it. I don’t love the weird space people or whatever Hellgate’s race(?) is, but I think that’s just because I don’t know enough about them yet. Hopefully the arc where we wrap up all this Hellgate stuff will be good, and soon. I’d very much like to see what Joe Kelly does after Hellgate, I’ll probably like it a lot more.

I’m gonna find the editorial office for spidey and if they don’t keep Rea and Spidey together or give Rea a spinoff series I’m gonna be tweaking if she doesn’t stay forever 😭🙏 can’t wait to continue this series and see more of Peter x Rea. This is easily the best issue of the whole series so far. Absolute cinema can’t wait for the next issue

The art was good, but this is not Peter. He’s not a space warrior, he’s a yutz who’s always sabotaging his own happiness for the sake of others. It gets boring after a while but you gotta love him.
