Fowl!: From Clucking Useless to a Success to Crow About!

Rate this book
Shortly after Shardonay Carrat's husband, Dwight, dies while performing one of his many experiments, she is made redundant and is forced to take a job managing the assembly line of a pet taxidermy service. Handling the likes of deceased poodles does nothing for the morale of the staff who have been taking out their frustrations on their customers by making their beloved pets look cringy and miserable. Shardonay's bosses want her to speed up the assembly line and are threatening to transfer the business to Mexico where labour is cheaper. She knows she must change attitudes - or everyone will be stuffed. But when Shardonay happens on a chicken farm one evening, the string of events that follow have consequences for all those involved. This amusing tale of rags to riches will delight and enthral all those with a wicked sense of humour.
