Memories of heaven haunt me—soft as feathers, sharp as regret. My halo is hidden to be kept secret.
I tend bar in St. Charles, Missouri, hiding silver fire behind human eyes, my laughter echoing in empty glasses. Then Daniel walked in—armor on his soul, tragedy in his gaze, sworn to truth in a world built on secrets. His touch is mortal. His faith, unbreakable and so achingly human. He seeks answers, bravely blind to the darkness rising within the brotherhood he calls family. We burn for each other—too bright, too soon, a spark against the encroaching night. He risks everything for me. I risk heaven for him. Our child is hope—celestial and new, a heartbeat poised to remake worlds. The world changes with every step we take. This is our rebellion—angel and knight, lovers guarding a light no darkness can swallow. Will love survive even if the heavens could break?
★★★★★ If you Star-crossed lovers igniting revolutions Celestial war and secret identities Knights undone by forbidden passion Angels finding redemption in mortal hearts You’ll be spellbound by “Angel Prophecy.”
Angel's Prophecy by Sara Wind was an enjoyable read that definitely kept me turning the pages. Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
The story feels like a set-up for what’s to come in the next book, which has me curious about where the series will go. The romance leans toward instant love, and while the chemistry between the leads felt a bit lacking at times, their bond still managed to carry the story forward. Some parts were a little predictable, and a few chapters felt slightly repetitive due to being retold from different POVs.
That said, I still really liked the premise and pacing, and I’m invested enough to want to see what happens next. Fans of fast-paced romance with a touch of the supernatural will likely enjoy this one.
-A fast-paced supernatural romance with instant-love sparks at its core. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
The POV retelling and predictability slow the flow but the premise shines. The bond between Daniel and Alisha keeps the pages turning, even when chemistry feels uneven.
An engaging series starter that leaves you curious for what comes next, slightly confused and sad. Doris is a great supporting character and friend to Alisha.
Now we see the extent of Lucifer's corruption on Earth against man. He has corrupted a lot of people to do his bidding, but with the prophecy of a child that will stop him or help him. If he gets the child, then darkness becomes stronger, but if she stays on the path of light, then light becomes stronger on Earth. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out.
Well damn. The ending of the book really hits you in the feels. So many battles fought. So many close calls. So much betrayal. So much love. I really hope there is another book to follow. Definitely read Lucifer in Love first (I did). It makes more sense with things that talked about in the timetable before this book.
