Madison Dumont has everything she should want—plenty of money, a high-profile job running her family’s philanthropic foundation, and no one to answer to if she has a fling with a different woman each month. The thing is, there haven’t been any flings lately. Or any dates at all. But it’s the last thing she wants anyone to know.
Parker Reinhart needs to raise thirty thousand dollars by the end of the month or the local LGBT youth center will have to close. When she signs up for the Dumont Gala for Non-Profits, she knows it’s the youth center’s last hope. All she has to do is find one wealthy donor, and Madison Dumont might lead to that perfect connection.
Madison and Parker both have ulterior motives when they agree to fake date, and neither are worried love will get in the way. But when they end up at a sex party, pretending suddenly gets very personal. Is it all for show? Or after one weekend in Tahoe, do they have something real worth holding onto?
Jaime Clevenger lives with family in Colorado. Most days are spent working as a veterinarian. Writing is a side gig but also a true love. Hobbies include swimming, karate, dreaming about beach vacations, and convincing random strangers to share their life story. Bonus points are given if they include a good romance—whether or not there’s a happy ending.
“One Weekend in Tahoe” is a very spicy book, but love is not neglected. Quite the contrary.
Madison has not yet gotten over her last relationship and cannot find inner peace. At a party, she meets Parker, a down-to-earth woman who, above all, gives Madison a sense of security in their one-night stand. But for Madison, it's just one night and she wants to forget Parker afterwards. But they run into each other again and can't stop thinking about each other.
I didn't know that the book was the second part of a series. However, I can say that I didn't feel like I needed to have any prior knowledge of the first book.
I liked that it wasn't just about sex and sex parties, but mainly about the emotional development of Madison and Parker's relationship. It was nice to see how the two trusted each other more and more and how Madison felt secure because of this and opened up more and more. The intimate scenes were very spicy, but I could still feel the emotional connection between Parker and Madison.
The sex party scenes were mainly in the last third of the book and were a bit too much for me at times, although I can say straight away that the MC's did not have sex with other women. This strengthened the connection between Parker and Madison even more. I liked the communication between the two and their honesty.
I listened to the audiobook and loved the narrator. She was great! The intonation and emotions that came across were simply incredible. I could feel Madison and Parker's feelings so well. The narrator was right there with them during their experiences and didn't just read monotonously. I really enjoyed listening to her.
A book that I liked a lot and can especially recommend as an audiobook.
One Weekend in Tahoe picks up after One Weekend in Aspen, and while you can read it as a standalone, I’d recommend starting with Aspen for the extra context around Madison’s past and why she’s working so hard to rebuild her life. This follow-up focuses on Madison and Parker - two characters from very different worlds who find unexpected connection, trust, and plenty of heat.
I really liked how this book explored vulnerability and trust, especially after being hurt. Madison’s struggles with anxiety and rebuilding her confidence were handled with care, and Parker’s calm steadiness made for a great counterbalance. The story also touches on consent and aftercare in a thoughtful, authentic way, which I really appreciated.
Yes, this book is centred around a sex party but it’s well written and surprisingly tender beneath the spice. The relationship does move quickly (almost too fast to be believable), but the author sells it with genuine warmth and emotional depth. Steamy, sincere, and a solid continuation of the series.
Many thanks to Bella Books for a copy of this novel. ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
This is the a follow up to One weekend in Aspen and I would recommend reading it first. In this book we have a new character, Parker who is an accountant and best friends with Reya. Parker helps Reya with her shelter for LGBTQ kids by managing her books and trying to get donations to keep the center open. Parker meets Madison Dumont in a bar and they go back to Madison’s hotel room. Parker leaves early in the morning and they don’t exchange numbers or last names. Madison manages her family’s foundation. Parker goes to a fundraising event put on by the Dumont Foundation to try and get a donation for the kids center.
At the event Parker meets Katherine who is Madison’s ex. For years Madison, Katherine and their group of friends have held sex parties on a regular basis. Madison has been the most sexually active of all the group until her breakup with Katherine. Now she’s trying to overcome all her anxieties and get her life together
I found the beginning of the book fun and interesting to see how Parker would discover Madison’s identity. Once the story moved to Tahoe and the sex party, I thought there were gaps in the storyline. I don’t think that Parker would have been as willing to go to the party as was portrayed in the book. And Clevenger did address that but I still felt it was underdeveloped. There was a lot of growth with Madison’s character, which made the book more enjoyable. Katherine was a very interesting character and I’d like to see book three with this group of women. It would be fun to see the very bitchy Katherine meet her match.
Thanks to Bella Books for the chance to read and review this ARC.
Im having a difficult time reviewing this story. The writing is wonderful. The dialog is natural and you feel every word and emotion. The characters are real and very passionate. So why would I have a difficult time reviewing it? Because the content was very difficult for me to read. I totally do not understand sex parties and really didn't like reading about what they do and all their devices. The following sentence from the book sort of gives you an idea. If it sounds interesting, this book is for you.
"You fit in my world, Parker. You fit so well I expect a collar on my neck soon."
But I repeat, its very well written. I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
4 stars. Sweet, sexy, full of chemistry and longing and healing and connection. I enjoyed this so much! Romance novels that take place within a short space of time don't always work for me, but Clevenger nailed this. And it helped that Parker and Madison were able to build up rapport and a bond before the titular weekend in Tahoe. This book takes place in the same universe as One Weekend in Aspen, which I also really liked, but you can definitely read it as a standalone. Like that book, I was impressed and pleased that although the book deals a lot with sex and kink, it's still perfectly romantic in all the ways that matter to me. And the audiobook narration by Quinn Riley was gorgeous as always!! She can do no wrong, and her voice for Madison made me swoon.
Review to come.

4.5⭐️ Well written and nicely paced! Thank you to NetGalley, Bella Books and the author for the advance review copy and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
The majority of the book takes place over a weekend featuring snowy weather activities by day and steamy shenanigans by night. This book, while a standalone, takes place two years after One Weekend in Aspen and features many of the characters.
While there is many well done steamy scenes, there is so much more depth and vulnerability and growth from both characters and their developing relationship. Walls are lowered and strength and love may just find a way to not only be planted, but to bloom.
The narrator was simply perfect in making the characters and story come to life. Highly recommend!!
thank you bella books for letting me read this one so out of my comfort zone... but it was an interesting read
ohh man where to start with this one...
parker had been out of a relationship for a while and wasnt looking for anyone but she agreed to meet her friend and so began the night that would change her life
madison was bored... she had it all but her life was difficult ...what she hadnt planned was to meet parker but they did
she could only offer parker a one night stand and what a night it was... but when parker woke up madison was gone and with no way of contacting madison again all parker could do was remember the memories of their night together....
what neither expected was for them both to be at the same event... one that madison and her family were running because of all the secrets she had kept from parker was who she was....
that night was to change things for them both
have to say i was invested in the storyline between parker and madison but madisons world of sex parties was something i had a hard time getting into.... but it was well written and researched and any discomfort i felt was mine to acknowledge...
This was my first novel by Jaime Clevenger, surprisingly, but it will certainly not be my last.
The spice was pretty impressive in this book. The 'one weekend' being spent at a s3x party will definitely do that to a book haha. I appreciated the honest conversations the couple had throughout, especially because of the setting they were in for much of the book, but I had hoped for a little more connection and organic chemistry outside of the spicy moments.
I think them walking away in love after a weekend like that made me a little bummed because I really wanted there to be a little more substance otherwise. That said, the book and the writing were well done and I enjoyed the story.
In One Weekend in Tahoe, Jaime Clevenger has delivered another steamy story with a lot of underlying depth and character growth. I really enjoyed watching the growing connection between Madison and Parker as they found themselves crossing paths repeatedly, then finding themselves in a fake relationship and finally learning to trust.
On the surface, Madison Dumont's life appears to be near perfect with plenty of money and a job supporting her parent's philanthropic foundation. However, underneath this life of luxury, she harbors a lot of baggage from past hurts and has put up walls a mile thick around herself. Where she was once able to have flings with any woman she wanted, she has now found herself unable to have sex at all and hasn't been on a date in over a year. Meanwhile, Parker Reinhart is living her life working as an accountant and running the accounting firm established by her father while also helping out her best friend Raya try to save Raya's struggling shelter for queer youth. Neither woman is interested in love but when they first meet in a bar, there is an instant connection which results in a steamy one-night stand, no ongoing commitment and no exchange of surnames or contact details. However, when their paths cross again at a fundraising event being run by Madison's family's foundation it isn't long before the two women find themselves caught up in a fake relationship and now heading off for what was supposed to be a quiet weekend at Maddison's cabin in Tahoe.
Once in Tahoe, an invitation to join Madison's previous party friends leads them on a very different journey. What was originally just going to be a case of joining Madison's friends for dinner on the Friday night ends up with the two women spending much more time with the friendship group and experiencing so much more than just dinner! However with tensions in the group following events that happened in Aspen two years earlier and Madison's ex Katherine also in the picture (through her promise of providing funding to the struggling shelter) the question is whether Madison and Parker can maintain their determination to not let love get in the way and to stick to achieving their end goals.
I really enjoyed this book and loved returning to the characters we first met in One Weekend in Aspen. I also loved the way that Parker, unintentionally began chipping away at Madison's defences, even from their very first meeting and then with the support of some of Madison's friends during their weekend in Tahoe. It was wonderful watching Parker come out her shell and Madison gradually learning to trust and let Parker in.
In One Weekend in Tahoe Jaime Clevenger delivers on a wonderful balance of both the steamy and the emotional in a way that hooked me in from the start and kept me reading to find out how things would work out. A fantastic follow-up to One Weekend in Aspen.
I am very grateful to Jaime Clevenger and Bella Books for providing me with an ARC copy of this book and am leaving this review voluntarily.
Madison Dumont is a member of the rich and famous Dumont family. Madison lives in LA since she travels a lot and wants close access to an international airport. She is visiting Phoenix and her family when she encounters Parker Reinhart in a bar. Parker is there with several of her friends, and they are encouraging her to move on with her life following a failed relationship that ended many months ago. Her friends want Parker, an accountant, to get out more and enjoy her life and women. When Parker spots Madison across the room in the bar/club she is intrigued but isn't interested in making the first move. Over the course of the evening, they continue to eye one another, and Madison eventually speaks to Parker when they end up at the bar together ordering drinks. There is immediate chemistry between the two women.
They reconnect at the Dumont Gala for Non-Profits that Madison is attending with her family and that Parker is attending trying to get donations for the local LGBT youth center that will have to close within a month if she and/or the administrator do not raise thirty thousand dollars. The chemistry between Madison and Parker is as strong as their initial meeting at the club, and the two women begin to text and talk on a regular basis following the gala. Eventually Madison asks Parker to stay at her cabin in Lake Tahoe for the weekend. Parker, who is originally from Lake Tahoe, is excited to not only take a trip with Madison, but to return to her favorite town. Madison also invites Parker to a dinner party with a number of her friends. Several of these friends were introduced in "One Weekend in Aspen" in the 2021 book. However, Madison does not reveal to Parker that following the dinner party that a sex party will take place, since Madison doesn't plan to attend anyway. That omission of communication sets the stage for the remainder of the story.
Although I did read "One Weekend in Aspen", I don't think that it is critical to have read that book in order to enjoy "One Weekend in Tahoe". But reading the Aspen book does provide a context for some of Madison's current hangups and why she has been attending therapy for the last couple 0f years. Reading the Aspen book also introduces a number of characters that also show up for the dinner party and the sex party in Tahoe.
I thought that this story did a great job of displaying trust between the two main characters and how that trust could totally erode past relationship wrongdoings. This book had a nice balance of relationship dynamic and spicy scenes. Those spicy scenes focused on both pure sex while others focused more on love. 4.25 stars

Clevenger's steamy story all the more sensual thanks to Quinn Riley's vocal expression If you want steamy and sometimes intense scenes between characters, some drama and angst mixed in with your romance reading/listening this one is worth considering; it's a delectable combination of spicy, sweet and hot. I don't often listen to audiobooks but I'm always impressed if the narrator has the vocal agility to craft and bring to life individual characters so when there are several in a scene talking back and forth I'm able to know with certainty who's talking at any given moment; Quinn Riley glides between characters voices and narration with great skill. There was only one brief moment where two characters with similar lower voices lost their distinction in an interchange that took me out of the flow of the storytelling but other times when characters interrupt each other without any narration in between the shift was so smooth I nearly forgot Quinn Riley was performing this book on her own. Her expressive delivery of dialogue is laced with emotion, some of which you may only want to listen to in private and definitely not while operating heavy machinery. She brings to life Clevenger's hot story better than my imagination could have conjured on its own. If you want some spice and heat and unconventional couplings to keep you warm in a reading escapist story there's lots of that in One Weekend in Tahoe, all the more heated thanks to Riley's vocal expression. I didn't read the synopsis ahead of time so half expected a more standard sweet romance with some sensual scenes at the vanilla end of the spectrum; this delves into kinks and sex parties going beyond just the physical encounters and addressing the emotional responses before during and afterwards. There is at least one scene that gets pretty intense physically and emotionally I wasn't expecting and it may make some readers squirm for different reasons that the other party moments. When the other plot threads are picked up after the erotic scenes it takes some time to adjust; one involved a certain degree of suspension of disbelief on my part. The book could have easily worked as a wholly erotic romance, without so much time spent on other plot threads but for some readers they might serve as an emotional (and physical) break from all the steaminess. I've read and enjoyed Clevenger's writing before this book and recommend this one for those who want an adult bedtime story read to them by an expressive narrator.
This book had a lot of spice, but at the core of it was the dire need to raise thirty thousand dollars to save OneSpace, a queer youth center in Phoenix. It was run by a trans person, Raya, whose best friend, Parker, was the voluntary financial advisor and one of our main characters. They felt their best bet to find the needed funding was to attend the Dumont Foundation Gala, a right-wing organization that funded money for charitable organizations.
The other main character was Dumont’s daughter, Madison, a beautiful, wealthy and sexy but confusing person. After ending a toxic relationship, Madison only had open relationships and was fearful of being in any committed one, actually having developed an anxiety over sex. This phobia played a prominent role in the book’s story.
The night of the gala Madison was surprised to encounter Parker, someone she’d met at a club and had a very memorable hookup with. Things, however, were complicated, and the focus of this story became their attempts at a relationship and Madison’s group of friends’ dynamics at a sex party in Tahoe. The sex party was interesting but not too much of a shocking experience for readers! There were participants in costume, a dungeon, pirates and brief descriptions of the action.
I found this to be a warm and loving romance as Madison and Parker were protected by the safety of calling their potential relationship a fake dating one. As they struggled through Madison’s anxiety, Parker remained strong and patient as Madison could only lament that Parker was good for her, but she didn’t know if she was good for Parker.
It took me awhile to get into this book, but I was soon consumed with reading it as I found it to be very entertaining. Jaime Clevenger did a wonderful job with the characters, the fun and the humor. When I finished I was tempted to rush to the grocery to buy a bag of mini marshmallows. You’ll have to read the book to find out why!! 3.5 rounded up.
My thanks to Bella Books and to the author for the arc in exchange for my honest review.
My very first book I read by Jaime Clevenger was “Weekend in Aspen” (May 2021). In this new book the author revisits the friend group with the focus on Madison Dumont. I don’t think you must read the first novel to enjoy this one. But it will help you understand who the side characters are. Because I have it, I did take the time to skim through the previous book to remind myself of who Madison was.
Madison Dumont comes from a wealthy political family. She is very good at running and raising funds for her family’s philanthropic foundation. She meets Parker Reinhart at a bar where they flirt and end up having a passion-filled night. There were no expectations or last names exchanged. They are shocked when they meet each other at the Dumont Gala for Non Profits. Parker is there to find a benefactor for the local LGBT youth center her best friend runs. She helps Madison, even after being surprised at her identity, and again sparks fly.
Madison invites Parker to Tahoe for a holiday weekend. She asks Parker to pose as her girlfriend when they meet up with her old friend group who are gathering for a sex party weekend. Madison was very involved in sex parties previously and feels she has demons she needs to get over. Until Parker she has not been involved with anyone since the Party in Aspen two years previous.
This is not my scene but these books are well written and steamy. The importance of consent, trust, and aftercare are covered. Parker is new to the world but doesn’t judge it or Madison. The relationship is almost too instant to be believable. But I like that the author fully sells it and goes further covering how the pair can visualize the future working for them. Both of the books are out of my normal comfort zone but Clevenger writes a compelling story and I cared about the characters.
Thank you to Bella Books and the author for an eARC and I am leaving an honest review.
When seeing that Quinn Riley is the narrator of the audiobook, I knew this would be a good listen. I have listened to One Weekend in Aspen and knew what I was getting into, the whole sex party and open relationship thing, but just like in the previous book it is more about the connection and growth of the main characters than anything else, it is not at all a few hours of erotica as you could suspect from the description.
Parker is out with her friends and meets Madison, instant connection. Madison a bit hesitant since she has been on a sex break for two years after a decade of sex parties with her ex-girlfriend Katherine. It ends up being an unforgettable one-night stand. Parker has never experienced a woman like that, her best sex experience ever and Madison is finally feeling it again with Parker. They go their own way though the next morning and think they will never see each other again.
When Parker attends a fundraiser to try to find needed money to an LGBT youth center she meets Madison again, Madison is part of this super rich family hosting the event. When Madison’s ex-girlfriend Katherine shows up, she asks Parker to pretend being her girlfriend. They end up going to Tahoe together and meet Madison old sex party friends excluding Katherine that hurt her so bad. Initially Madison doesn’t tell Parker about the sex party thing but when she does, Parker is interested but wonders why Madison stopped with all that. It is the chance of a lifetime for Parker, but she is so nervous and is this really what they want as a couple, add more people to their budding relationship?
What is clear is that Parker is no Katherine, she is so caring about Madison, so into her and just want her to be happy. They have so many feelings for each other, is that the right approach at a sex party? It is a very interesting journey to follow.

Okay, wow, that was hot! Right from the get-go, but I guess that’s to be expected when a book begins with a one-night stand!
When I first saw One Weekend in Tahoe, it looked familiar, and then I realised it’s a follow-up from One Weekend in Aspen – which I haven’t read yet, but it is in my TBR. Not to worry, aside from feeling like I’ve missed out on reading a super-hot story, it didn’t take away from anything in this book. Let’s just say book one has worked its way up that TBR list!
Madison and Parker couldn’t be more different, yet when they meet, chemistry is instantly off the charts. Madison isn’t one for dating, and Parker is happy just to be in her orbit. Friends-with-benefits quickly turn to fake dating, and we all know how that ends.
The wit and banter are one of the drawcards for me. It is quick, and flirty and helps to elevate the relationship to the heights it reaches authentically. Both characters are beautifully flawed and complement each other, and if you’re into mascs, it will be impossible not to crush a little on Parker. She is simply the perfect woman.
Jaime Clevenger has written a deeply erotic love story, keeping the pages sizzling, the plot sweet, and the characters relevant. Don’t miss this one!

Aspen is one of my favorite books; I've read it four times in a year. So I'm incredibly disappointed with this one!!!
1. I like Madison.
2. I don't like Parker.
3. This book reflects a common phenomenon in the lesbian community today, which I dislike.
Lesbians are certainly a complex group, but they are too easily influenced by external factors, losing their own souls.
When people say lesbians are hate men, these writers, to prove they aren't, include more male characters in their books (in other novels). When people say lesbians are disgusted by penises, writers fill their stories with penises.
Stories of lesbians having sex with men, marrying men, and falling in love with men will soon appear in lesbian novels. Soon we will have to accept that men can be lesbians, and the door to lesbianism is open to everyone.
4.I really disliked the confrontation between Parker and Ms. Hannah outside the restroom. Middle aged white heterosexual women are always portrayed as villains in these stories, depicted as shameless, ignorant, and mean. The woman dressed as a man in this scene merely serves as a puppet of transgender ideology.
5.In today's lesbian community, "lesbian" is slowly disappearing. Everyone is queer, everyone can be a woman, and then we're back to a male dominated world. Queer is just a harem for men.
Okay, wow, that was hot! Right from the get-go, but I guess that’s to be expected when a book begins with a one-night stand!

Another winner from Jamie! I absolutely loved One Weekend in Tahoe. Jamie has such a gift for creating characters that feel real and stay with you long after you've finished the book. One of my favorite things about Jamie's books is how they weave their characters together across different stories. Getting to revisit beloved characters from previous books while falling in love with new ones is such a treat... it's like catching up with old friends while making new ones. I'm a sucker for a good sequel or spinoff.
The interconnected world they have built makes every book feel even richer. The romance was steamy and well-done. Yes, the sex party element pushed boundaries (definitely not something I'd personally try!), but I thought Jamie handled it beautifully. The character's conflict about wanting to be adventurous while feeling uncertain felt authentic and relatable. And of course, the sex scenes were hot... Jamie knows how to write chemistry!
If you're a fan of Jamie's work, this is another must-read. If you're new to their books, prepare to fall in love with the storytelling and immediately want to read everything else they have written. I went through all their books pretty fast.
I went into this book without having read One Weekend in Aspen, and while Tahoe stands perfectly on its own, it definitely made me want to go back for more of these characters. The thoughtful development of Madison’s struggles made this storyline feel incredibly real. The dialogue and details only deepened her connection with Parker, and while using a sex party as a way to enhance their relationship was new for me, it was handled with care and worked so well.
What makes Parker and Madison’s relationship so powerful is that it starts as something fake that can’t become real, at least not right away, because of Madison’s past. As her story unfolds, you understand just how deep her struggles run. And Parker, with her calm, patient, and unwavering presence, is exactly the person Madison needs beside her as she begins to heal.
This book is absolutely trope-tastic! Between Madison’s emotional arc, Parker’s quiet compassion, and the seriously steamy scenes, this one is a real winner. Quinn Riley’s narration only amplifies the story’s appeal, making it just as enjoyable to listen to as it is to read. Whether you pick it up in print or audio, this is a fun, sexy, and genuinely authentic read.

Very hot f/f romance This is the sequel to One Weekend at Aspen where Clevenger introduced us to a group of lesbian friends who stage wild sex parties - and one of them falling in love. Hot is a big understatement. Now it‘s Madison who was a big shot at those parties who meets her match. Note: The book can be read as standalone. I loved the beginning where Parker, the accountant with no interest in dating, meets by chance Madison and they have just one night - not exchanging phone numbers, never expecting to meet again. Until Parker meets Madison, the daughter of the host, at a charity gala and rescues her by pretending to be her date. Madison invites Parker for a weekend in her house in Tahoe. What she doesn‘t tell her is that her friends are there as well gearing up for a party-weekend. I liked the vulnerability of Madison and the unfolding of their fake relationship (always a good trope). I didn‘t entirely buy that Parker was open to the sex party. It was a good, hot read though where the relationship and trust is growing slowly. Now we have to wait what or rather who hits icy Katherine.

I enjoyed this. This is the first book in a while to intrigue me enough to want to read on and see what/ who/how/ it had happened and why. I believe this is a sequel to One Weekend in Aspen. I had not read that but it didn't matter. When I read that Maddison had performance anxiety - I knew I needed to find out why. And it didn't disappoint. There's also a story about the local youth club needing donors and Parker trying to fundraise at the gala. Oh look, there's Maddison on stage giving a speech as it's organised by her family foundation. That's handy. There's a fair amount of sex in the book - and sex parties - nothing feels gratuitous and it's all well written. There's also a fair amount of humour - and emotion.
There is of course an epilogue - this is set a year later. It shows the results of the fund raising and family attending in support.
Thanks to the author and Bella Books for the ARC - this is an honest review.
If you liked One Weekend in Aspen, you’ll like One Weekend in Tahoe. The spice, the relationships, the relatable and real characters we grew to love in Aspen. This book tells Madison’s story and I enjoyed this take on how a loving connection between two people without judgment can help heal the most guarded of hearts. The sex scenes between Madison and Parker are beautifully written and very intimate. This is a book that illustrates kink in different forms and I think the author does a great job writing these scenes without shame or judgment. There is love and emotional connection between the two MCs as well as supporting characters within the frame of kink and light BDSM which make this story all the more engaging and satisfying. Overall, this book is a great representation of sapphic love and sapphic romance and the varied ways love can help heal.
There's a book with sex, then there's a Jaime Clevenger sexy book! One Night turns into many encounters for our MC's. Both are trying to get past their own issues and meet at the wrong (or is it the right) time. If Scoville were to this book, let's just say it's hotter than a habanero! We are introduced to Madison, Parker and a host of Madison's friends. All hot, sexy and ready to have a great time. If you don't like lot's and lot's of sex and toys, stay away from this one. (fair warning...lol) As for me, I'm going to take a cold shower...
This is really fun, a standalone novel which does mention the previous novel (I haven't read) quite a lot, but in a way which adds intrigue, This is fast paced, great characters and it moves quickly. I thought the characters had really interesting and detailed backstories without being overly explainy. Quick paced and easy to read.
Thanks to NetGally & RBmedia for introducing me to this amazing Audio eARC!
I don't usually read this genre, but this story really captured me. It's a sweet and spicy tale of two people finding love, and I loved every minute of it.
The writing was great, and the narration was perfection.
Can't wait to pick up more like this when I need a break.
Another brilliant and hot book by Jaime Clevenger. After waiting an eternity for the sequel to One Weekend in Aspen, this book did not disappoint. Well-written as always with complex character development, great plot, and mouth-watering intimate scenes. Could not put this down. Highly recommend!!!
Once again Jaime Clevenger has managed to write a book that blends romance & erotica perfectly. One Weekend in Tahoe is the follow up to One Weeknd in Aspen, you don’t need to read Aspen first but you should because it is amazing & we see returning characters in this book. Following Madison & Parker’s initial meeting, we see the pair fake dating, navigating both the personal, professional & attending a sex party- bringing Madison face to face with her old world, where she has to face up to, not only old wounds but also her current reality that she may just be falling in love with the woman she is fake dating.
JC, like in all their books writes complex characters that have to do the work for their happy ending. The sex party where we see more returning characters from Aspen (& some new ones) is written exquisitely and it’s hot as hell. If you are a fan of wonderfully crafted romances, full of humour, realistic characters and/or erotica this book works on every level. In summary if you want a book that ticks almost every box in sapphic erotica and romance this is one for you. And did I mention how the spice level is through the roof?!
