Un livre dont j’ai vraiment envie de connaître la suite, Vincent et Oriane sont morts tous les deux à 17 ans. Oriane va se réveiller à lange de 7 ans et elle m’a de cesse de protéger l’amour de sa vie. Le seul hic Vincent ne se souvient pas du tout d’elle.

Updated Review 6/18/25: Just as amazing and emotional as the first time I read it! Oriana is truly an incredible heroine and admire her so much! I don't think I would have anywhere near the strength she does to keep going!
Original Review 7/22/24: I'm not one for super angsty reads, but this was SO good and NEED volume two ASAP!
I loved every single moment, including the times when it felt like my heart was being torn in two, which happened more often than not! LOL! But thankfully there was some humor and some really sweet moments woven throughout so I didn't feel like my heart was TOO devastated when reading! LOL!
Oriana is an incredible heroine and deeply admire her positive attitude and her perseverance in not giving up! She really brings this first volume to life and found myself swept up in her emotions, especially with her expressions because she is so over the top but not in a bad way! But goodness though! Her heartbreak in the beginning was VERY real! I even felt tears about to form in my own eyes!
I didn't feel too strongly towards Vincent unless it was in Oriana's memories. I definitely wouldn't say I disliked him, but his best friend Miguel makes him more interesting I think? He doesn't seem like the previous lovestruck young man, but because he isn't, it also made for very compelling storytelling because I wanted to know if he would change and how and when that change would take place. The ending leads me to believe that Oriana's affections are impacting him and that a romance between these two isn't farfetched, which leaves me feeling happy and relieved because I NEED them together!
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an angsty shoujo but not one that comes from a love triangle or lack of good communication, but from a young woman's desire to have the present be similar to the past in the way of a former relationship. Not only that but seeing that same young woman's determination to find answers on what happened in the past and help create a new future where her lover is alive is very engaging.
Definitely will be rereading this again!

i think i might have hyped this up a bit too much in my head... i was really excited to read it but it wasnt as good as i was expecting??? maybe the other volumes will be better esp since this was only the first one... the art is nice though

Not quite as good as all of its award-garnering led me to hope, but still pretty decent. A large part of the problem is that Oriana just feels so incredibly stupid in this volume.

This is my first dip into a time loop series; Oriana and her boyfriend Vincent are both students at a magic school when one fateful night, Vincent dies without any obvious traces. Oriana tries to help but instead collapses and finds herself waking up back in time when she was seven. Her life plays on repeat while she has kept her memories of her previous life. Her goal is to disrupt the flow of time as little as possible whilst still preparing herself for the day Vincent died so that this time she can help him. Unfortunately, the Vincent in her repeated life has no memories of their past life together, making this a rather lonely journal for Oriana.
One thing that surprised me was that Oriana immediately confronts Vincent about not having shared memories as opposed to waiting to see how he reacts and how they find a way back to each other. In a way, I think had she waited, it would have resulted in a more slow burn and tense kind of situation and I felt like it wasn't Oriana's smartest move. On the other hand, the fact that she is upfront about it and is constantly facing rejection by Vincent whilst remaining cheerful and continuously trying to discover the culprit, adds a whole different kind of dynamic between the two. There is something bittersweet about how Oriana puts on a brave face but is clearly lonely and sad and essentially alone in her endeavours to prevent past tragedies from repeating themselves.
The world building feels a little weak at this point, it seems very standard magic school but we get to see very little of the said magic. Nonetheless, it's my cup of tea setting wise so I just try to appreciate what we get. The art is beautiful and I want to say a little unusual. It has a lot of shoujo traits and yet has a more roundish edge to it that looks more unique - it gives the characters a soft look. I'm definitely curious to see how this series continues - both in terms of mystery and romance.

Un bon premier tome ! Je ne m’attendais pas à ce qu’il y ait de l’humour dans cette série, les situations cocasses rendent certains passages amusant.
Le mystère et si cela se poursuit dans les prochains tomes, l’enquête qui va être mené ajoute un plus à cette histoire de mort étrange et de réincarnation.
Je suis très curieuse de découvrir la suite et où tout cela va nous mener !

Ein schöner neuer Fantasy Shojo!
Der Zeichenstil erinnert mich etwas an Atelier of Witch Hat, die Linien sind sehr sauber aber nicht steril, alles wirkt ein Stück liebevoller als man es sonst gewöhnt ist - besonders die Szenen mit den magischen Wesen am großen Baum und die Kleidung der Protagonisten.
Neben dem Love Interest (LI) gibt es noch zwei andere gut aussehende junge Männer die die Protagonistin mögen, sie selbst ist auch gleich sympathisch durch ihre tiefe Zuneigung zum LI und ihren Willen, diesmal seinen Tod zu verhindern (meistens versuchen ja die Protagonistinnen ihren eigenen Tod nach der Reinkarnation zu verhindern, also ist das hier auch eine schöne Abwechslung).
Dass die Protagonistin den LI ein wenig stalkt weil sie so um seine Gesundheit bemüht ist fand ich auch sehr cute, man merkt auch schnell dass er ebenfalls auf sie steht aber es erstmal nicht zugeben möchte.
Das große Mystery ist, was oder wer an ihrem gemeinsamen Tod Schuld war und das wird auch im ersten Band noch nicht aufgedeckt. Wir bekommen auch ein paar Infos zur magischen Welt, wie dass es mehrere Drachen gibt die zu den Adelshäusern gehören, aber es ist definitv kein info dumping und passend zum Pacing der Geschichte.
Bisher bin ich sehr positiv eingestellt und freue mich auf weitere Bände!

El dibujo me gusta (esto siempre lo comento, pero para mí es importante).
Creo que aunque esté muy trillado puede darle un buen giro a la trama y acabar yendo por dónde no espero.
El primer tomo me ha parecido interesante, me he reído y todo. Él sonrojado es lindísimo y la personalidad de ella tan risueña me encanta.
Creo que leeré uno o dos tomos más para ver por dónde nos guían la historia.

I don't love the art in this one and the mc is a little too silly at times, but I am very intrigued by the story and I do like the moments that have more depth. The romance is both sad and really sweet. I need to know how Vincent died.

started this after seeing two tweets in succession and got curious. and damn while the title is a mouthful, this is such a beautiful storyline!! i cant wait to see where this goes and ahh i love oriana!! living seven years with the memory of seeing her beloved die, only to realize they dont remember that life.... my heart and soul T-T also now that i think about it, this is soo lovely runner coded!!!

Not bad, but the pacing feels really fast. The main character isssss also kind of annoying. He doesn't remember you, maybe you can convince him with knowledge from the future or try to be his friend instead of following him around and invading his space????

I really liked this first volume but I hoped there would be more of a cliffhanger at the end to build up anticipation for the next volume.
I think if you're a fan of fantasy romance manhwa, this will be a manga you will enjoy, as far as volume 1 goes. But shoujo fans will also enjoy this just as much.

Not having read the synopsis and going solely by the beautiful art and title, I thought this would be a story featuring amnesia, but I was surprised to find out it was actually a reincarnation or time loop story! It's still unclear which one it is by the end of this volume so I don't know for sure if it's gonna be a time loop but I could see that happening.
One thing I wish we saw more of, was the development of the main character and the male lead during the 4 year timeskip. While I do understand why the timeskip exists, and how it's easy to assume and infer that the main character kept her original pushy personality towards the male lead, but it would've been interesting to see at least glimpses, even if just as flashbacks, of their time during those 4 years .
The art is absolutely gorgeous and I'm enjoying the world building, even tho it's still very undeveloped. I'm very interested and curious to see what really happened that night and find out more about the male lead, as it seems there's more to it than he shows.

Este manga lo tenia en la mira desde que la editorial lo anuncio y con el rumor que va a tener adaptación al anime necesitaba leerlo.
No es el primer manga que leo con la premisa de regreso en el tiempo pero puedo decirles que el carisma de los personajes y el misterio de la muerte de los protagonistas me atrapo por completo.
Oriana es una protagonista que se gana tu kokoro desde el primer instante que la conoces y el amor que siente por Vincent es demasiado grande porque aunque él no la recuerde y la evite por ser un poco acosadora en su afán de protegerlo de morir nuevamente no se rinde y quiere que el amor de su vida viva feliz asi sea sin ella. Vincent es un chico que ha sido criado para seguir un legado y es tan perfecto que mucha gente lo siente lejano cuando él solo quiere que lo vean como un chico normal y Oriana con su sinceridad va rompiendo esa coraza que lleva autoimpuesta.
Pero el personaje que se ganó mis afectos fue Miguel el mejor amigo de Vincent, es demasiado carismático y amo que sea cómplice de Oriana para que se acerque a nuestro prota distante, ya quiero ver a ese peligroso animado jaja.
Muero de ganas de seguir leyendo esta historia porque la cauda de sus muertes me parece un enigma muy interesante y quiero ver como Oriana sigue rompiendo las barreras en el corazón de Vincent.
