Brandon and Ashley have been having some problems in their marriage for awhile now but Brandon has finally had enough. Brandon walks away from her but he is torn because they have two kids together. Ashley assumes that he will take her back but things happened that will finally be the last straw for Brandon. I loved this story and how Brandon fought hard to uphold his Christian values. I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series.
Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Brandon and Ashley’s marriage was a mess. There was lies and deceit throughout the marriage. The two children is what kept them together. Then he meets Nadine, she is everything he wants in a partner. Unfortunately, he is still married to Ashley. There are ups and downs in Brandon’s life. This is his journey to happiness.
This was a good story of selfishness, and many more sins. God's grace is sufficient! What it takes to enable a person to really repent. Ashley summed it up when she said, "you do not miss your water until the well runs dry". Happy that everyone was happy and Ashley got serious about herself.
This book was a page turner. Ashley became obsessed with Brandon and was willing to do whatever it takes to get him, even pretending to be a Christian. God, however, hates a deceiver and there are consequences for her actions. My heart went for Brandon and the girls.
This book is a must read. It contains twists you will have to hold onto your seats to experience. Great writing Brenda Barrett. I'm not going to write a a spoiler review. Happy reading everyone.
. Brandon wanted happy forever in his marriage. Brandon and Ashley were married for eight years and had two little girls. Brandon loved his wife and daughters very much. Brandon was a true Mr. Mom even though his wife was under the same roof. Ashly did not connect with the girls and left Brandon to do everything for the girls. Brandon looks past Ashley’s errors until he catches her in actions. Brandon decides to leave his home to think, and he meets Nadine. Since meeting Nadine, Brandon is so happy and less stress. Nadine is easy to talk to and he enjoys being in her company. Ashely wants her husband back. Good book!!!!
I love all the books that Brenda Barrett writes, I love the endings. This was just a great book and I recommend this book to everyone who loves romance novels.
