HOW AM I EVER SUPPOSED TO RECOVER FROM THIS?!?! 😭😭😭
⚠️ Warning!!!! ⚠️ HUGE spoilers ahead!!!
Okay WHAAAT?! This book was so so good!! I think there's only a few reasons I didn't give it five stars. First off, I didn't really love how like 3/4 of the book was the battle between pure and dark magic. I feel like there could have been a bit more balance. But that's just my opinion. I also just don't know how I'm supposed to recover from what this book put me through. First, you say, in the first book, that Vivalda's mom AND best friend died. Then, you say that they both come back in this book. Yay! But then when Vivalda finally saves her sister from Melantha, she is forced to abandon her mother and her older sister in the sylphenic realm. And to top it all off, you go ahead and KILL VIVALDA?!?! My jaw was on the floor. Other than these things, this book was so beautifully written and I can see, even just between book one and book two how Cae's writing skills have improved. She is so good at using description words and making it feel so much like I'm actually experiencing it myself. I am so proud of Cae and am SO excited for the next release in the Realms of Vassuren series!!!!!!!!! 😆🫶

NO! THE ENDING! NO!
Ok, all put together I loved it. Calypso🖤 was being.... Calypso🖤!
Phoenix 🧡 came back (YAAAAAAAAAY 🥳).
Silva 💚 had a new AWESOME look and Aerowen 🩵's? Amazing 👏! And the facts that she is Phoenix🧡's sister?
Great plot twist.
BUT I HAD TEARS IN MY EYES! WHEN THE KING 🤍 DIED! WHEN KALVARA💔 SACREFICED HERSELF BECAUSE OF MELANTHA❤️‍🔥! WHEN ALADORE❤️ LEFT VIVALDA💙 ALONE?!
WHEN I FOUND OUT VIVALDA 💙 WILL DIE?!?!
So... yes a good book BUT MY BODY CAN'T PRODUSE TEARS WHEN I READ, SO I FELT HEARTLESS!

I loved it, it was amazing. I love how the author talks about mental health issues openly. Plus, the characters are incredible. My favorite character is Vivalda, I just love that she's so brave and smart!!! Also, I can really relate to her mental struggles and that makes me love her even more!!! But that plot twist on the last page was just brutal: why kill her after all that!!! All in all, I am in love with her universe, stories and characters. Cae, if you read this, I am begging you, please share more of your stories with us!!!

Love this book so much. The story is amazing. The way that it is written makes it feel like you are actually there. I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster while reading it( good thing). If you know her charater then you would understand why. I can relate so much to the main character. Well done crazy cae

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! !SPOILERS AHEAD!! I can't believe that there is so many deaths, and they were all heart wrenching in the previous too, especially phoenix and Vivalda. OMG, I cried for like a week!
