Ugh I just loved these characters so much. Summer was so bold and beautiful and sassy and I wanted to be her and be with her. Jae was adorable and awkward and I wanted to wrap him up and protect him from all harm. Mercer was grumpy and emotionally constipated, but deeply cared about his brothers and was passionate about his work. Lucien was stuck in a pattern of parentification from his youth and was tightly wound and self sacrificing to a fault. All of these characters were complex and beautiful. They came together in a friends with benefits scenario, but grew to trust and rely on one another as more. They each pushed each other out of comfort zones and into places where they could grow and challenge their assumptions about life and relationships.

As expected, Eliana Lee delivered a great book yet again. I’m not surprised I’ve enjoyed it a lot, I knew the writing would be amazing, and the story would have a nice flow.

I really loved the main characters. Summer was such a wonderful soul, I loved how sexually free she was, she knew what she wanted, and she was extremely aware of herself. She also had some great sense of humour, and the things she said sometimes, made me laugh so much. As always, I had to pick favourites when it comes to MMCs 🤭 And while Lucien became my fave since almost the beginning of the book, Mercer ended up being placed pretty close to him. I didn’t feel a lot of connection to Jae, he was just there tbh, and even though I liked him of course, he didn’t make me feel any greater feelings.

The story was going nice as I’ve already mentioned, but it had some moments when it felt too cheesy to my liking. The ending felt a bit rushed, too. In those last few chapters there was a bit too much skipping in order to end the story. I wish there was also an epilogue with all the MCs some time into their future, but I know we’ll get that in the bonus content from Eliana.

The fourth and final installment of the Cosyverse universe, whychoose omegaverse series. I have enjoyed every book in the series and I am so sad that it is ending.

Summer has her own Vietnamese Bakery, when a competing bakery moves in next door. With the rude owner who asks her to stop singing in the morning. But when her bakery and apartment get flooded, she ends up having to move in with him and his brothers which lead to friends with benefits situation.

Summer is so headstrong, and tries to handle everything herself and never wants to ask for help. This really resonates with me because I am exactly the same way, and love the way this story is told. This series is a must read if you love omegaverse!

I was lucky enough to get an advance copy and I'm so so grateful I did, because let me start with saying: I loved this book.

If I wasn't a fan of Eliana before I'm sure as hell am know, I truly enjoyed this, there was just enough drama, it was cozy and nice, the perfect book to just relax and enjoy, plus it doesn't hurt that the writing is on point and there's lots of spice.

Can totally be read as standalone and got me out of reading slum, so if you like cats, baking, forced proximity or just romance in general, this is for you.

Please miss Lee, don't ever stop writing because I truly have loved and devoured everything you've published so far, this is hands down no questions asks 10/10 for me.

This was a fun and spicy read. Unfortunately, it needed to be edited and revised more. The story line felt very choppy and the plot didn’t flow well. It felt very surface level which caused me to feel disconnected and confused with the storyline. I overall still enjoyed the story, but I think it needs more work to be at its full potential.

A Pack for Summer, by Eliana Lee, is the fourth and final installment of the Cosyverse series. This standalone features FMC Summer Pham, an omega who owns and operates her bakery “Suns Out Bánhs Out” and is as adorable a person as you’d guess based on the name of her business alone. She is sunshine, rainbows, and spunkiness, but with a vulnerability that felt endearing and had me wanting to protect her from any threat to her happiness. Her male love interests are an eclectic mix that consists of a tattooed songwriter, an executive, and a French pastry chef.

One thing that shines throughout the book is Summer’s Vietnamese culture. This is handled with depth, meaningfulness, and respect.

This story includes themes: why choose, forced proximity, friends-with-benefits, grumpy/sunshine, Asian female lead, small town romance.

I was so excited to get this as an ARC and it did not disappoint! It was so good. I loved how completely oblivious they all were at the start. It made the buildup even better! The banter and chaotic antics had me laughing, and Felix is iconic as always 😂

Summer finally found her pack! The last of our four FMCs to be all packed up and it is well worth the wait. Who doesn't love a second chance romance and a redemption of a broken curse? When we meet Summer, she's three months into the opening of her brand new bakery - when in comes a rival bakery. Not only that, but the owners are the from the Beaufort pack - the three heirs to the cursed Beaufort home. Jae is the sexy musician who Summer connected with in high school, Mercer is his pack brother and beta boulanger, and Lucien is the stoic older brother just trying to keep everyone together. They say they're only there for the summer, until they get their childhood home set for sale. But the question remains, will they be able to heal enough to form the pack that Summer deserves? This final installment of this series was SO GOOD and the perfect amount of cozy and spicy.

Yet another two nights staying up until 2 am reading these books because they are just that good!!! This was one of my favorite in the series because the emotion was just so raw and real. I have fallen in love with Starlight Grove and all of the characters so much that it is going to be hard to say goodbye. Waiting for each release of this series has been something I’ve looked forward to and now I’m so sad it’s over!! I can’t wait to see what is next for both Eliana and Emilie. 5/5 read as always and congratulations on being traditionally published!!! SOOOO deserved for my omegaverse favorite series 💘💘💘

Am I surprised that Eliana Lee nailed this cozyverse book? Absolutely not! Reverse harem really lends itself to the (re)found family trope, and beautiful explorations of love, and this is something that Lee does with a lot of talent. The characters are absolutely adorable and endearing, the set up perfect to remain cozy and low stakes without being too boring. I took one star off because the book did fill just slightly too long for me, but that’s subjective.

Ahhhhhh I can't believe that this series is over! Emilia and Eliana have created the most adorable and cosy coastal small town filled with characters that you just can't help but fall in love with. Despite each story in this series focusing on a different member of the omega friendship group, the previous characters that we meet and fall in love with never feel far away and help to shape the story of characters that come after them. One standout aspect of this book, and the others books in that series for a matter of fact is how much goes into creating these characters and how real they feel; how their emotions make my heart ache so deeply while also making it leap for joy. Honestly, I cannot recommend this series enough for so many reasons, packed with spice and guaranteed happily ever afters, these books ensure we get love stories that are fought for but ever so satisfying.

Summer has the weight of the world on her shoulders but she couldn't be happier dragging herself out of bed early and starting the day in her new bakery. With her priorities firmly on her future the last thing on her mind is finding herself a pack, but when a pipe bursts in her apartment she has no choice but to accept the help of the three brothers that she thought were far in her rear view mirror but are now back in town. Summer is not afraid to go after what she wants, and dang girl do I respect that. Unfortunately though feelings don't work that way and what starts off as a friends with benefits arrangement quickly starts to tumble towards more treacherous territory. I find Summer so relatable, not in the general sense, but in the little things she loves, animal crossing and colourful cat plushies. Unapologetically herself, cherishing her family and her heritage and wanting to share what used to make her feel so different but makes her so special with the town that is so close to her heart.

Lucien, Mercer and Jae are so different in a way that balances the group perfectly. Lucien is the calm brother, the mediator, firmly a workaholic he doesn't know how to take a break if it hit him in the face. Mercer pushes Summer's buttons in the best way, providing her with a sparring partner that is just as passionate about baking as she is. Someone that knows how important it is to not compromise on your dreams. Jae is Summer's childhood sweetheart, the optimist and the ray of sunshine. We get to explore how each of the men in Summer's life as they interact with her and how they individually provide her with different things that as a whole give her everything she needs. Oh my gosh, don't even get me started on the spicy goodness in this book. Once the characters get the green light they can't keep their hands off of one another. With searing moments alongside sweet and tender ones, each and every one of these helps bring the characters closer together in a way that feels so important. We get to read as these characters come to realisation that despite having very different priorities when they arrive in Starlight Grove, they quickly find something that they are willing to give up everything for even if they don't know it in the beginning.

Starlight Grove is somewhere I know I could keep revisiting in books time and time again. The town is quirky and completely unique, with its endless events calendar and mayor that is a meddlesome cat that knows best and steals baked goods for the good of himself and the relationships of those around him. In every single book there is another aspect of Starlight Grove that we get to explore, another event that brings the community together and honestly, I just can't get enough. Another part of this series that I love is the close knit community, everyone is up in everyone else's business in the best way. Each book in the series introduces us to new residents that you are bound to fall in love with, in this instance it is Summer's family and they are so adorable, the core part of who Summer is and who shaped her into the woman she has become. The pacing of this book was perfect, with something always going on this book keeps you engaged and is consistently enjoyable. I couldn't tear my attention away, I ended up reading this book in one sitting and as much as I would have liked to savour it, I regret nothing.

I wholeheartedly recommend this series to anyone who loves small town romance, because if someone gave me a one way ticket to this magical small town I am taking it.

I love everything Eliana Lee writes and this was no exception. Summer and her pack were so great and the small town, coastal setting were reminiscent of my own summers.
Summer owns a Vietnamese bakery in Starlight Grove, where she grew up and where her family and friends all live. She has only recently opened it when she finds out there's a new pastry shop moving in next door. To her dismay, the owner of the shop is the brother of her childhood friend. Jae, Mercer, and Lucien are brothers, but they've been apart from each other since their parents' pack imploded when the omega mother left with one member. The brothers have come back to Starlight Grove for the summer to renovate and sell their parents' old house and for beta Mercer to open up the next branch of his pastry shop. Jae, an alpha and popular musician, was friends with Summer, and he is excited to see her again. When Summer's bakery and apartment flood, she ends up living with Jae, Mercer, and Lucien in their house. Feeling the chemistry between her and each brother, she proposes a summer fling to them. However, feelings start to emerge for all of them, despite knowing that their relationship won't last, as all three men are set to leave after summer ends.

Summer was a go-getter and confident in herself. She had great chemistry with each MMC. Jae was the fun and lighthearted rockstar, complete with piercings and tattoos. Mercer was the baker, who was a little grumpy but beneath the surface, insecure about being the only beta. Lucien was the caretaker for the others, the eldest and working himself to the bone in his finance job. The course of the novel was them having their fling, feelings developing, more steaminess, talking about their families and issues, then coming together. This is a cozy romance, so it was low angst, but still very developed and dimensional in terms of the brothers reuniting and moving forward from their broken family. Summer also went through some development with finding the confidence to keep her bakery and learning how supported she was. This book did drag ever so slightly, and I think some of the scenes could have been cut, especially repetitive steamy scenes that didn't move the plot forward. I did appreciate the thoroughness of seeing the entire summer play out, but I don't think it was quite necessary. Summer had a great group of friends and family. The small town had many eccentric characters, including Felix the cat. It might be too silly for some readers, how humanized he was, but I thought it was cute. This was an omegaverse romance, but the book didn't focus on that aspect as much. We see her heat, there's a scene where Lucien is in rut, and then at the very end there's the bond marking. But it felt very contemporary romance, very lighthearted, small town, summer romance.

And we’re back to Starlight Grove for Summer’s story!! I want to start off by saying how much I enjoyed Summer as a character and the cultural representation that Eliana wove throughout the story. Summer’s story, her family’s story, and every piece that Eliana added to the characters, the town, and the plot was absolutely wonderful. Summer is hilarious, snarky, strong, independent, thoughtful, and unapologetically herself. This meshed so well with the pack she builds and I enjoyed every step of getting to know them!

Jae, Lucien, Mercer, and Summer building a pack was exactly what they didn’t know they all needed (and what I didn’t know I needed as a reader!). We get a whole bunch of independent characters who actually really need one another and readers are just lucky enough to go along for the ride. I loved their different personalities, the backstories of each of them (and as a whole), and of course the romance, spice, and general omega goodness. This one is cute, spicy, full of characters learning about themselves and each other, a meddling small town you can’t help but fall in love with, and chemistry between the characters.

I love that the cozyverse series, and A Pack for Summer, are in fact cozy and have all of the omergaverse vibes you could ever want. However, where I struggled with the book is that I felt like things were just a bit too low stakes or maybe ‘mild’ is a better word? I wanted to feel….something. And while don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the book, the characters, and getting to visit Starlight Grove again, I think I needed more feeling in the book, more emotions transferred to the reader, or just something to get me heavily invested to the point I was desperate to know what was next. I know striking the balance between cozy and emotional is hard, but at times there were ‘conflicts’ that felt like they were added just to be added and then so easily resolved I wondered about how if they were handled in the best way for the story. I never really had that deep connection I was looking for to bump it into the 5 star category.

A Pack for Summer is a wonderful way to wrap up the series (although you do not need to read the other books, but you definitely should if you love omegaverse!) and a great representation of things readers love about small town romances with characters who are looking for their people. Definitely pick this one up because no one can resist Starlight Grove once they’ve made their first trip there!

A Pack for Summer is basically the book version of a perfect summer afternoon: warm, comforting, a little chaotic, and full of sweetness… with a surprising delicious amount of spice tucked in for good measure. (It’s an Eliana Lee book, of course the spice is exactly what you signed up for.)

At its heart, this story is really about belonging, about figuring out who you are and building the kind of family you choose to surround yourself with. Beneath the romance and the spice there’s a lot of emotional depth, which made the relationships feel grounded rather than just trope-driven. I loved the care that goes into the way the characters learn to trust each other and slowly make space for one another. Watching that sense of belonging grow was one of my favourite parts of the book. It captures that beautiful moment of finding your people and realising, little by little, that you’re safe with them.

That theme runs through so many parts of the story. You see it in Summer’s friendships, in her experience as a first-generation immigrant within her community, and in the brothers as they work through family trauma and the baggage they’ve carried for years. The growth feels messy and real in the best way.

But what really made this book shine for me was how lovingly it celebrates immigrant families and the quiet strength behind them.

Summer’s relationship with her heritage, her family, and her community feels so genuine. The bakery isn’t just a cute setting, it represents pride, sacrifice, and resilience. The story really captures that push and pull between honouring where you come from and building a life that’s your own. There’s so much warmth in those moments, but also honesty about the pressure and responsibility that can come with it. It felt like a really beautiful, and very timely, reminder of how much immigrants enrich and strengthen the communities around them.

And of course we must discuss the true star of the book: Mayor Felix. An icon. A hero. A public servant of the highest order. His work here is clearly complete and he deserves a long, luxurious retirement full of belly scratches, smoochies, and an absolutely irresponsible number of treaties. (Get that croissant, king!)

However… while Mayor Felix may rest… Eliana absolutely may not. I’m going to need the next project ASAP. My reading schedule and emotional wellbeing depend on it.

Fans of Jane Washington and Kathryn Moon would eat this cozy 'Why Choose' Omegaverse story up.

Even as I feel like I’ve exhausted most adult fiction with Asian female leads, this is the first time I’ve felt seen by a story. Eliana Lee represents the experience of a second generation Vietnamese American woman with such nuanced care, and as a Vietnamese American myself, I’ve been so excited to read a romance starring a lead who shares my background. It is the Cozyverse book I had the most anticipation for, not just because of the rare representation but also because Summer is my favorite character for her coy playfulness. The moment I got approval for this ARC, I paused everything else to move this to the front of my queue.

In A Pack for Summer, the cultural background isn’t just window dressing. It is enmeshed through details like the language, family customs, and habits unique to Vietnamese refugee families who started over in a new country after the war. The food scarcity mindset and showing love through feeding people was so relatable. Summer’s childhood experience of wanting Western lunch food instead of Vietnamese food to blend in really resonated, and her mom reminded me so much of my own relatives.

Beyond the cultural depth, the romance and chemistry also delivered. The tension and playful flirtation between Summer and Mercer, her rival pastry chef, was chef’s kiss. Jae, the tattooed songwriter with a childhood crush on Summer, is swoon worthy with his charming shyness. Not only that, it was refreshing to see a sex-positive Asian lead who owned her sexuality. The palpable chemistry between the leads was electric and at times combustible.

My only critique is that I wish Lucien, the executive, was as fully realized as Mercer and Jae. As a person who worked in big tech, I found Lucien’s personality and dialogue lacked the texture that would make him feel like more than just his professional identity. It resulted in him coming across more like a caricature than a fully believable person.

The prose is polished as you might expect from Eliana Lee. Summer has such a distinct, confident voice. She is hilarious with her irreverent, snarky humor, and the pacing maintained its momentum from start to finish. I could not put this addictive book down and blame this book for lost sleep. I already know this is going to remain a favorite 'Why Choose' comfort read.

This book is a standalone within an interconnected universe, so you do not have to have read the previous books. While there are a lot of cameos from the Cozyverse books, it's not a barrier to enjoying the story even if you haven't read the previous books, since you really only need to know the Starlight Grove Omega besties (Olive, Ivy, and Lucy), whom the book reintroduces to you.

I once again groveled my way into an ARC for the cozyverse and it did not disappointment. Let’s just say, A Pack for Summer is HOT, like scorching HOT. But before I go any further, there is a very important content warning you need to be aware of: this book will give you an insatiable craving for Vietnamese food. For your own wellbeing, I suggest you go ahead and order in a Banh mi and an extra-large bowl of Pho, just to get ahead of how hungry this book will make you.

The cozyverse has been an unexpected delight and I was really excited to dive into Summer’s story. The book didn’t disappoint. The entire series takes a very sex positive approach to sex and smashes the “Good girls don’t have/ enjoy/ explore” sex narrative and smashes with the entire force of the matriarchy. But, Summer’s story went above and beyond. When she finds herself with 3 handsome roommates, she quickly establishes an agreement of a certain use. I liked that Summer played with the power dynamics throughout the book and took the lead in a very satisfying way. These men had been hurt, and I really liked how Summer was able to help them through that in a way that still felt very empowering.

Of our three guys, I think my favorite was Jae. He was our hot, sensitive boy with a bit of a surprise underneath it all (my mom follows me in my socials, you’re going to have to read to get to know what I’m talking about).

Through out all of this, I really appreciated how the author challenged Asian stereotypes but also allowed Summer’s culture to be front in center. I loved how the town embraced her family from the start, insisting that their cuisine was paramount to town events. Summer’s Banh mi being a lunch time staple was a nice touch.

Finally, I continue to love how this series focuses on the careers of the four Omega’s. Summer’s bakery was important as a business and we see Summer engage with this from all aspects of a business owner which I really, really love.

Also, Stanley, almost doing as good of job of mayor as Felix was a surprise. Good job Stanley, you lovable stick in the mud.

Anyway, you need this book. This book is for you. It’s the most wholesome (Hole-some) book you’ll read this year.

This book is part of the “Cozyverse” series created by this author, Eliana Lee, and author Emilia Emerson. While the 4th book of the collection, it can be read as a standalone. The only thing you are losing by not reading the prior three books are the characters and who is in relationship with who but not much else.

"A Pack for Summer" follows Summer Pham as she opens her own Vietnamese bakery in her hometown, Starlight Grove. Shortly after opening, a French bakery comes in right next door, owned by one of the Beaufort brothers, a trio who called Starlight Grove home years ago. I enjoyed the story, especially the relationship between Summer and her friends. While I did not read all the other books in the series, I had already read the first one ("A Pack for Autumn") and enjoyed the continuation of the characters. I resonated a lot with Summer at the beginning as my friend group’s “single friend”, especially how she processed the feeling of being the outsider among her friends who were each in their own pack. I also loved the “drop everything” relationship the girls have with one another, which shows how strong of a bond the girls have even though they have their own packs and responsibilities.

I also enjoyed the relationship Summer has with her family. As someone who comes from a different culture than the majority of her small town, I shared a lot of similarities with Summer’s desire to keep her Vietnamese culture alive through her bakery, as well as some of the realities, habits, and cultural norms that come from being part of an immigrant family.

“A Pack for Summer” by Eliana Lee

Overall, I really did enjoy this book. I liked all of the characters, and I think Summer’s individual relationship with each guy was fun to read about. However, there was something missing that I kept searching for. I think the emotional connection took longer than I would have liked to develop. Usually with this series I’m diving in, I’m staying up late reading because I can’t stop, and it only takes me a few days to finish. But with this book that wasn’t the case.

It took me days to read, and it was only until the last quarter did I fly through the story. Comparing the parts I read quickly versus at a slower than normal pace, the only thing I can identify is that the emotional connection between all of the characters didn’t ramp up until close to the end of the book. I think this is simply a personal taste, which is why I can’t discount the story too heavily.

I found Summer’s personality, and quiet vulnerability, to be really compelling. She has a difficult time fitting into Starlight Grove when she first moves as a child, and now we see her as an adult securing her place in the community, but again finding herself unsure of where she fits in given that she’s an omega without a pack. It’s always very interesting to explore the societal mechanics of omegaverse in stories such as this. But what I appreciated the most was Summer opening up about being a child of immigrants, how she wishes her parents could run a restaurant selling Vietnamese food instead of Chinese-American cuisine, how translating for them can be a heavy burden in tough situations (which we see in this story), how she desperately wanted to fit in with other kids and felt the need to hide her heritage.

All three guys were fantastic and great in their own way, and I always appreciate when a why choose author solidifies the relationship each guy has with the FMC. I think by the end of the book they’ve created a strong pack, and have worked through their past trauma.

Also, I had no idea what free use was, so I appreciate learning more about that particular kink. I think it works really well in a why choose/omegaverse story.

I just realized i never reviewed this, oopsie 😬

The main thing i loved about this book was the small town summer vibes, i swear to god this book reminded me of the Hannah Montana movie, and summer at my grandparents house in their little village in france during the summer. Basically everything's that is beautiful about vacationing somewhere pretty and small.

Now the characters
Summer : I really really liked Summer, this got shit done😂😂😂 everything about their relationship was initiated by her ( sexually ), the people who know me, know that i hate it when the fmc pursues the mmc but in this case it wasn't like that, because it came from a place of confidence ans safety rather than desperation.

Lucien and Mercer : 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 GODDAMN those men made me blush left and right. Mercer started off as being my favorite i loved his banter with Summer, but then Lucien bulldozed in.
Jae : i did like Jae BUT my issue was that he wasn't giving me Alpha, he gave major Beta vibes which is not bad, i mean James was my favorite in a pack for winter.. my issue stems from us being told his designation was Alpha when he didn't act alpha at all. in my humble opinion Mercer should have been the Alpha and Jae is the Beta.

Their backstory with their dads and mom was so interesting i wish they got some type of closure on that.

anyways i also really liked seeing all the other girls with their packs being there for Summer.

Safety:

- owd another female Alpha was harassing Jae and making him uncomfortable and Summer had to step out and save him ( one of the many reasons i didn't believe he was alpha)
-omd : slight jealousy from slimey men resolved on the spot
- no manwhores no virgins, the pack has never been with an omega in heat before nor have they ever dated as a pack , they didn't even consider each other a pack before Summer.

I'm going to add a note about the Mmc's relationship with each other because at first i thought they were brothers which icked me and almost dnfed but i'm glad i got the correct info : So Lucien's mom was the omega of the beaufort pack, Mercer's dad Greg later joined that pack after he sent matched with her and he had already had Mercer with another women, so Mercer and Lucien are step brothers. then Jae joined the pack when his parents died and his uncle who's a part of the beaufort pack, took him in, so he's kinda step cousins with Lucien and Mercer.
so there is 0 blood relation between them

Another fantastic, sweet and spicy standalone that rounds out the series in a perfect way.

There are not enough words that truly encapsulate how much I love this story - and its connected standalones. "A Pack for Summer" is a fun, heartwarming read filled with banter, spicy spice, found family, small town charm (think Gilmore Girls), a strong, sexy FMC, and three MMCs you can’t help but root for. Even though the first three standalones do have elements of ethic heritage and culture of the various main characters, I feel like this story dived deeper into cultural pride. As an Asian American, a lot of the emotions that the FMC, Summer, experienced relating to her heritage really resonated with me and added meaningful depth to both the romance and the storytelling. In addition to the main characters' romantic journey, the world building of the lovely Starlight Grove, the character development, the hilariously endearing side characters, and of course, the spiciest spice; all was wonderfully balanced into a cohesive and well paced story that ended on an endearing note.

I can't wait for the public to get their hands on this story! In the meantime, go check out the other three standalones in the Cozyverse series, (you can read them in any order but I suggest you start with "A Pack for Autumn"). OR, read Eliana Lee's fantastic Bond Dissolution Omegaverse series!

The last instalment of the cozyverse which I’m so sad about but I loved this universe so much!

We’ve got summer, she’s fierce and independent running her own Vietnamese bakery in town. Then we have Jae, Mercer and Lucien (brothers) who have come back to starlight to renovate their parents old house and get it back on the market and Mercer is even setting up a patisserie next door to the bakery………Then disaster strikes 😏🤭 (I say disaster but is it really when she get to move in with brothers)

This was such a fun read and I loved them all so much, their whole relationship and how it grew and blossomed. This book had me laughing and kicking my feet and Let me tell ya, this book is spicy 🥵 with such great chemistry between the charcaters! I loved the back story of the brothers and how actually that had made them abit insecure and unsure about pack life and i loved their different personalities and getting to know them.
It’s always nice to hear about the other characters and their own packs in these books! I love how the girls have a ‘drop everything’ relationship with one another even though they have packs, they have all stayed so close which is so nice!

ARC Review:

I absolutely love this entire series. I was very sad to see it come to a beautiful end. Eliana is such an amazing writer and the way she writes her characters to be so relatable. Summer is an independent and sassy omega. She is true to herself. Her culture is a such an integral part of who she is as well as her family. Something that hit home to me was when she was having an internal moment of hating/disliking being the translator for her family when it came to heavy topic. It’s something we try not to think about, but it’s normal that we feel that way.

The guys went through a very traumatic event and it affected the way they saw pack life. This beautiful small town gave them the opportunity to see the beauty in loving someone and not being afraid. Jae her childhood love, he is so sweet and shy with her. Mercer, the sassy alpha who loves to push Summer’s buttons. She does as well. And Lucian, the alpha that never stops caring for those he loves and learns that is okay not to be in charged at all times. I almost lost my mind when Summer kept her feelings about wanting them when she saw Lucian talking to the photographer. I am so happy that they got the happy ending they deserved.

My eyes couldn’t help, but water at Felix’s epilogue. It really hit me that this was it. It also gave you insight of why Felix behaved the way he did with Summer. I hope there is another series in the future because I want more.

A Pack for Summer is a charming, heartwarming read that proves love always finds a way, even when you’ve slammed the door and locked it.

Our FMC, Summer, is the fiercely independent new owner of a local bakery. She lives for the grind of long nights and early mornings, pouring everything she has into her business. At this stage in her life, she is strictly anti-relationship and anti-pack, preferring to focus entirely on her professional future.

Everything is running smoothly until the Beaufort Pack brothers return to Starlight Grove. To make matters worse, one of the brothers opens a rival patisserie right next door! When a burst pipe leaves Summer’s apartment and bakery flooded, she finds herself unexpectedly moving in with the brothers. As she gets to know each of them, those carefully constructed walls start to crumble, and she realizes that keeping her heart uninvolved is going to be much harder than she anticipated.

I truly enjoyed watching Summer develop a unique, meaningful bond with each character before seeing how those dynamics shifted when they came together as a pack. There is a beautiful balance of care in the book. Summer shows up for each brother in exactly the ways they need, and they return that devotion tenfold.

It’s a fast-paced, feel-good story that balances sweet moments with that "roommates to lovers" tension we all love. If you are an Omegaverse lover looking for a quick, cozy escape, put this one on your TBR!

This has a cat mayor… You need more?

Ok, well it’s a whychoose omegaverse. Our main characters are Summer, Jae, Mercer, and Lucien, an omega Vietnamese bakery owner, an alpha songwriter, a beta patisserie owner, and an alpha workaholic. They have all lived in the town; just our men moved away with their fathers at a young age, but their back baby! Mercer sets up his Patisserie right next to Summers bakery, a little messed up if ya ask me she's only been open for three months and already has a rival! Well sort of, our grumpy beta says he didn’t know and it comes in handy. Why?
Well, when Summer's life is uprooted, by her shop flooding, again open only for three months!!! She now gets to live with the men, work with Mercer in his shop, and dabble in a little friends with benefits situation. Basically, she’s living all of our dreams, must be nice.

Ya’ll once their situation starts, y’all are in for a ride. There are cute moments, where they come to understandings either with one another or themselves. There’s banter, teasing, spice, and protectiveness! Just a whole list of my favorite things.
Oh, but my absolute favorite thing in this book is the little troublemaker Mayor Felix, he really did come in clutch for his girls!

I’m telling you if you’re an omegaverse lover, a whychoose craver, a spice specialist this is for you! I’ve been loving the series so far, the different packs, cultures, and personalities, it’s been a great ride.

An easy five stars for the fourth instalment of the cosyverse! Eliana Lee might just be my favourite author for omegaverse.

Summer is a delightfully funny FMC to read, and I definitely felt that she was written as neurodivergent. I loved her playful rivalry with Mercer (her rival baker), the way she took charge with Lucien (the aloof CEO), and the wholesomeness with Jae (the dreamy songwriter) is off the charts.

This is the perfect omegaverse to read if you’re looking for some Stars Hollow vibes. The town is sweet, fun and a little chaotic, and every appearance from Felix (the cat) brought me so much joy. You can tell Lee adores cats and knows their behaviour and mannerisms inside out from how she writes him.

Though this book is cosy and heartwarming with wonderful main characters and a very HEA ending, some people may want to anticipate that there are: a few instances of sexual harassment (not by any of the MMCs) toward the FMC and a family emergency resulting in hospitalisation.

This was the perfect ending to the series, and I will absolutely be reading anything that Lee puts out next.

A Pack for Summer by Eliana Lee was such a phenomenal read and the perfect ending to the Starlight Grove series. I have been waiting for Summer’s story, and it was just as precious as I hoped it would be. She is the perfect balance of sweet and sassy, bringing such a bright energy to the story that makes it impossible not to love her.

Her pack was a wonderful mix of personalities. Mercer with his grumpy but thoughtful nature, Lucien who is methodical and fiercely protective, and Jae who is the absolute sweetest sugar plum. Together they felt like the perfect match for Summer, each bringing something different to the relationship and the story.

Summer herself is such a breath of fresh air. Watching the relationships develop between all of them was such a treat, even when the emotional hurdles made things a little painful. I could understand why the guys struggled with their feelings, but it definitely tugged at my heart seeing Summer caught in the middle of that uncertainty. Thankfully they pulled it together in the end and gave her the love she deserved.

This was such a sweet and satisfying conclusion to the Starlight Grove series, and I truly hope we get to return to this world again someday.

A just like that the Cozyverse series comes to a close. This is really bittersweet to write. I’ve loved going on this why choose omegaverse journey with these four best friends. Each book has been a bit of a roller coaster for me. Some I’ve really loved and some I’ve felt were just ok. In A Pack For Summers case it falls in the middle. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it as much as the first book in the series.

I think my biggest issue with this book and why I have it 3⭐️. Is cause it felt like not a whole lot happened. There were a bunch of little moments that occurred with Summer and the boys. But nothing overtly major to tie everything together. I guess I was just hoping for a bit more depth out of their relationship.

Just because their relationship wasn’t perfect. I can’t discredit the spicy scenes. And boy oh boy, this book does not disappoint in that department. And if I’m being completely honest out of all the books in the series this one definitely has the best spicy scenes. Especially with Summer & Lucien ;)

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and this series! I would 100% recommend it especially if you’re just starting to explore the omegaverse genre. Lastly big thank you to NetGalley & Putnam for the ARC in exchange for my review!
