Mira Bailee, a beer-brewing librarian, has been writing leisurely, scholarly, and professionally for the past twenty years.

While she's always maintained a high standard of chaos in her daily routine, The Lust List allows her to pass on some of her hectic lifestyle to her characters. Her storytelling balances humor and pleasure with sincerity and conflict, providing a wild ride of human emotions.

In the past she studied filmmaking and screenwriting and determined what goes on behind the scenes is just as tantalizing as what's seen in front of the camera. This revelation is the basis for her inspiration for The Lust List.

I don’t know what is wrong but I don’t like the content of the story. I'm still not experiencing contaction with characters. Oliva is a stupid and Devon is an idiot. I don’t like behavior of Devon to Olivia. And don’t like that Olivia has agreed on such behaviour. What apology was that? I'm sorry but I'm upset with how this second part was written.
Devon needs a wake-up call.
In order to find a great love, sometimes you have to find yourself first.

What I enjoyed about this book was the growing relationship between Olivia and Devon. Yes there were a lot of ups and downs on their path of getting to know each other, but I really believe that they have the potential to bring out the best in each other. Devon can be charismatic, yet irritating. Olivia is responsible, yet naïve and judgmental (but can’t blame her in some circumstances, although she did a couple of things I didn’t approve of so early in the relationship). I like Olivia and the progress she made within herself with the help of Devon (although the approach is questionable). I think Olivia is the best thing for Devon if they can get through their issues, but that being said, I was impressed with the major decision that she made within this book.

There are some surprises made along the way; some shocking and some disappointing. I do look forward to reading book 3 of this series.

I received this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Mira for the opportunity to read and review your book.

First Taste was more compelling than Second Chances, but still a very good read. Though there is a major cliffhanger.

Devon and Olivia’s relationship is full of ups and downs, misunderstandings, arguing, so much secretiveness, but finally HOT Sex!!! This installment they head off on a road trip. I think this is perfect for them, but I feel it lacked something...Still it kept my attention.

Even though I expected more from theses characters considering how they developed in First Taste, I still want to read the next one in this serial so I can see how the story evolves especially with all the secrets. I have my assumptions.
If you enjoy serial books with hot, young characters you should enjoy this very much, but must be read after First Taste.

~Deep as ever~

Two people who are poles apart try to figure out what they want. The second installment picks up from where we first left. Olivia leaves back her phone with all those alarms. Devon and her hit the road, unknown to where they are going.

We learn that Olivia was into studying back then while Devon was a chilled out guy. His relationship with his brother wasn't that sour as it is in the present. The reason for her brother's death is revealed in Second Chances. When asked, what Olivia wants to do with her life, she choose activism.

But when it comes to Devon, the secrets are much more dark and somehow they seem to have been catching up with him. Second Chances also brings intimacy along.

Mira is an amazing writer and I cannot wait until the third book. Hope I get to read it soon :D

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

In her follow up to First Taste she picks right up where she left off. I enjoyed this follow up quite a bit. We get to start seeing more into Devon Stone and who he is. Him and Olivia both have their own demons to deal with, the question is can they get past their own selves and find each other.

It was a fun fast read. Olivia does a few things in the book that I wasn't too enthused about, but those things are part of what her personal issues/demons are. The snooping and being judgmental thing sort of bothers me a little, but I understand it is part of her make up.

Loving Devon! He's the bad boy of the Stone family and has secrets and deceptions galore but Olivia can't walk away. She has always had the level head but something about Devon has her making crazy choices. Really enjoying this series, can't wait for the next installment. I recommend it.

I was kindly provided with a copy of Second Chances to read and review.

This second book in The Lust List: Devon Stone series continues the story of Devon and Olivia from the exact moment where First Taste left us. They are both people with a lot of demons, pain and secrets but will they be able to open up enough to let each other in?

Devon was again utterly swoon worthy but I could never decide if I was in love with or wanting to smack him…or both. He is a man of non existent patience and his brash way of coping with Olivia’s coping mechanisms left me wondering if he was handling them unfairly or if he’s just the right kind of tough love that she desperately needs. He can be down right selfish but he always seems to manage to redeem himself when he lets his guard down a little further each time.

Olivia is still growing in this book so I often found that I was willing myself to forgive her for her naivety but how she never seemed to notice Devon’s evasion of some things had me grinding my own teeth. I’m choosing to believe that she was just seeing things the way that she wanted them to be as opposed to how they actually are. Thankfully her actions at the end of this book fully reinforced my love for her and my theory that she is one seriously tough girl underneath all of the compulsions and lack of self belief.

Half way through reading this I literally found myself waiting for Olivia to start humming Taylor Swift – I Knew You Were Trouble, although Devon has still got a lot of skeletons in his closet and questions to answer he is undoubtedly trouble. With Second Chances you’re left with a cliffhanger and mountains of questions but it was good enough to keep me entertained from start to finish and to leave me eagerly anticipating getting to know more about everything in Third Degree.

Ignore the bad stuff. Bask in the good.
Do what you want. When you want.
Push away all the negativity. All the guilt. All the demons of memories past…

Sometimes strength isn’t staying and trying to help someone, it’s walking away from them and forcing them to re-evaluate their choices…

OMG THIS IS A HOTTIE OF A READ AND A HOTTIE OF A STORY!! MIRA BAILEE HAS REALLY STEPPED UP HER GAME WITH THIS ONE !! I thought after reading her first book in the series it couldn't get better= but I sure was wrong.
I was given an ARC copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest for an honest opinion. This is Mismousey's very honest opinion of SECOND CHANCES.
Writing is a gift that some are born with and others grow into- or learn. However with Ms Bailee - she was gifted her writing skills and this story proves it. Between her and Nova Raines that have created the Lust List the Stone stories about the twin brothers. The cover design, blurb, characters and scenes are so well done that the entire book is crafted in such a master piece of work. It has the reader wanting to read the work before you even turn the cover on it. The by the time you finish the book - you are waiting for the next book. As it leaves you in a cliff hanger. You have to have more and more of the famous brothers and their troubles they have gotten themselves into.
In second Chances we find Oliva and Devon Stone trying again. They pick up right after the party at his father's house. Devon's dad has just turned everything over to his brother Kaidan-Oliva had just told her so called boss to buzz off . She quit. At that point she walked out on him and into Devons arms and awaiting car. They drove away. He then went in search for whom it is that dear ole dad has been paying millions to every year.
During the course of their trip and time together they get close . But Olivia finds out some stuff she never expected . Can she handle it ?? Will the 2 of them stay together??
This amazing and terrific story has a lot of twist and turns in it, You just never know what to expect next. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and is a fantastic edge of the page turner.
I recommend this book for readers over the age of 18 . Mismousey gives it a firm 45 out of 5 stars. NOW TIMES A WASTIN GO GET YOUR COPY NOW!!! HURRY AND DON'T DELAY!!

A Review of Second Chances: The Lust List: Devon Stone by Mira Bailee

Secrets and trust issues abound - 5 stars

In this second book, we pick up right where we left off with Olivia and Devon. She just gave a big "screw you" to her boss and left everything behind with Maddie, including her precious phone and all her alarms. She has no idea where they are going, but she is ready to trust him. They end up at a parking garage for an office building, which turns out to be his condo.

The spend the evening talking and getting to know each other better and we learn more about both of them as they were growing up. Devon and Kaidan were full of pranks and mischief, while Olivia was more studious. We learn that her little brother was being bullied at school, which led to his death.

When Devon asks her what she would like to do with her life (not as a job), she says she would like to get involved in activism. She wants equal rights for gays people and to help shape the younger generation, where there is less hate and intolerance. Olivia also inadvertently learns some things about Devon that disturb her.

The two of them end up on a road trip (you need to read the book to find out why) and they finally have their bump and grind, but things again fall apart. What will happen? Will they get back together in the next book or is this really the end? You don't want to miss this series, regarding Devon and Kaidan and the women who love them.

I was given an arc for a honest review

I really liked this book though found myself so frustrated with Olivia. The book takes off exactly where the first one leaves off and o thought at that point Oliva was letting go some and at least going yo try to have some fun or work out things with Devon Maybe I had it not head that she should just go for it Jump in head first and whatever happens happens but at least live a little. Wrong I was so wrong I get they both have their issues and need to work on themselves. They both have some pretty big issues but I just wanted to scream at her to put the phone and those darn alarms down!!! Don't here wrong Devine not perfect by a long shot and I firmly believe we all have a past and you don't snoop through people's stuff then dredge that past up over and over If you do do that you should let the person explain .....I'm going to give something away of I don't shut up.

I rely enjoyed the book overall ans I look so forward to reading the next one to see what happens with Olivia and Devon IJustine ho or I get my Olivia totally lets go and goes for it or at least puts that crazy phone down

I can't believe I received it as an early copy and until today, that I was cleaning my e-mail that I realized about my mistake and of course I devoured it right after, anyway, without further deal... I have to say I loved it, I thought I had Devon figured out, but oh boy, no, I didn't! I enjoyed every single page, I didn't see it coming any of it! I love how the boys lead the same type of life but so different, I love the angst and I love that keeps me wanting for more. As always I'm missing Devon's POV I truly want to know what is on his head, and I want answers but I keep getting more questions. And Olivia I really liked how she acted towards the end, I know her behavior can be a little annoying, but I think she did what she had to do. I want the next book now, this just keep getting better and better! So, overall if you love a troubled hero + a troubled heroine + angst + a story that leaves you with more questions than answers (the good kind of way) then you should give it a try to "Second Chances" because I think you'll love it! So good!

Not as compelling as the first but I want to read more. Major cliffhanger.

Devon and Olivia’s relationship is full of ups and downs. Olivia isn’t really sure if they actually have a relationship. There’s a lot of arguing in this installment.

Olivia has found out some pretty negative things about Devon’s earlier life but he assures her that he’s left all of that behind. But – has he really? You’ll have to read this for yourself and decide.

While this book didn’t keep my attention as good as the first one I still want to read the next one in this serial so I can see how the story develops.

Once again, if you enjoy serial books with hot, young characters you should enjoy this but be warned – this one ends in a major cliffhanger.

ARC received from author in exchange for an honest review and because of that I must say that I’m not sure how I would feel about paying $2.99 for this installment even though I enjoyed reading it, it didn’t quite live up to the promise of the first one.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, so here goes…
Honesty obliges me to tell you that I ‘ve re-read the first one, mostly to put me in the mood for this second one, which I really enjoyed.
We all know Olivia as a woman, scared of her own shadow due to things that happened in the past. I am so glad to see that, while her relationship with Devon is all but ‘normal’, along the way she managed to grow a backbone and takes life into her own hands – baby steps at a time.
I really want to see what becomes of her and their relationship – although you can already sense that Devon is changing for the better. I got the impression he wants to be a better man around her, he is trying, although with its ups and downs and with a bunch of secrets waiting to be discovered . But maybe he really is the right one for her – he doesn’t walk on eggshells around her and helps her overcome her fears of life, in his own Devon-like way…
I can’t wait to read the final part and only hope that Mira doesn’t leave us hanging for too long…

***I received this for an honest review****
I love Devon. Oh my God do I love this man. If I didn't like Olivia so much I'd be shoving her out of the way so that I could have him. But I think she's perfect for him.
I thought that this was a great continuation of the first book. I've grown attached to these books. They have become a guilty pleasure of mine. I finished the book in a day, I could not put it down nor did I want to. It was good, so freaking good.
I love these characters and I find myself connecting with Olivia. I feel like I can under stand her. I also have anxiety issues, not for the same reasons and not as extreme as hers, but I get what it's like for her. I get what its like to dread something and to feel these sudden moments of panic. So I can really connect with her, and it's refreshing to meet a character who also suffers from anxiety, I have yet to find another one.
Pick up this book, pick up this series because you will not regret it.

This was sent to me by the author for an honest review. At first I was really liking Devon in this book but things at the end had me changing my mind about him. He is definitely moody like his brother, but I wonder if it is hereditary or caused by other stuff. In the beginning, Olivia was just the opposite for me, she was getting on my nerves with all of her snooping, but by the end I was pulling for her to stand by her convictions. We find out what really happned to Olivia's brother and it was a sad and tragic story. Too bad that there is intolerance for things like that. Devon has a way of making you feel bad for him because he was born into a lifestyle that he doesn't want but he doesn't do anything to distance himself from it, more like he embraces the perks of that lifestyle. I hope in the next installment that Olivia stays true to her convictions about Devon and does find herself for the better.

Second Chances continues straight from where First Taste left us. This is a four part serial so be warned there are still a lot of questions left unanswered.

I actually preferred this episode to First Taste. For me, the story moved along at a quicker pace and the plot certainly thickened in this giving us more of an idea as to where serial is leading.

I actually found Devon to be an unlikeable character which I didn't feel after reading First Taste. I felt that Devon showed more of his true colours in Second Chances and what we find is somewhat of a selfish young man, although given his upbringing, this comes of no surprise. Going forward I'd like to see him open up more emotionally and I think this will help me buy into the Olivia and Devon relationship.

Looking forward to seeing how Olivia and Devon's relationship advances going forward.

This story continues at the Stone party when Olivia chooses to be with Devon. To me this book is a build-up to next chapter of their story. Devon and Olivia get to know each other a bit more and we learn more backstory about how they grew up. I found Devon to be a bit cruel and then he would somewhat apologize and it would drive me crazy. I think he wants to be a better man, but he is so defensive about how he's chosen to deal with his dysfunctional upbringing.

There is a road trip that revolves around Second Chances. Without giving away any spoilers, Olivia makes a decision that I think is best for everyone involved. It's quite heartbreaking and I feel for her so much.

I am ready for Third Degree like right now.

5 STARS!!!!!! Okay so I fell in love with Devon in the first book and then I fell in love with him again in this book. Throughout this book, I debated whether I wanted to swoon over him or smack the grin off his face. I thought over both and in the end I'm still undecided. Olivia is still as cute as ever and I really like her character. I feel like she's trying to move on and help herself and Devon and now the ending makes me realize that she is growing as a character and person. Hopefully we'll have a happy ending by the last book to have Devon and Olivia together forever because I LOVE them together. They're perfect and I can't wait for the next installment!!!!

I was given a free copy of this book for an honest opinion

When I first started this series I really thought that Kaidan was going to be the brother that I loved to hate and Devon would be my new book boyfriend. OMG I was wrong, I want Devon to be a real person so bad so that I can slap him. No spoilers but he has "labeled" himself more or less the fixer in the family but I can't see it with the way he is treating Olivia or in the way that he handles his family drama. I see Olivia becoming a stronger person and maybe becoming more of her old self which is good for her and damn if I wasn't cheering her on at the end of the book.

I enjoyed reading this second installment of the Lust List. Everyone's got their issues and dark secrets..Devon and Olivia included, I love them both and enjoy getting lost in the world they are in. Yes there is drama and overly dramatic drama! But there are sweet moments of emotion just waiting to grow stronger.

Olivia is really working on some self discovery in this one and I can't wait to see where it leads in the next one and see what becomes of their relationship!

Both of these crazy kids have issues, but Olivia isn't afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right, no matter who Mr. Stone is, or thinks he is! But poor Devon, I don't know whether I want to hug him or strangle him! I really like these characters! Stay tned, I think this is gonna be a bumpy ride!

This is a great story where we get an inside look into Devon and Olivia. They share stories from their pasts and it seems they make a big connection, but their own problems and convictions create a barrier. Olivia can't resist Devon (just one touch and she melts) so she makes excuses for his behavior. Devon believes it his way or no way. Their relationship can be compared to a roller coaster with all the ups and downs. Looking forward to finding out how they can overcome these problems and come together.

I love this book so much. It is a story that has you loving and hating the main characters at the same time. I am hooked on this series and though Olivia and Devon both seem childish in their own ways, they are both struggling with issues the other one doesn’t understand. There is a new twist in the story and I can’t way to see how that is going to play out.
I give this book 4 stars. You gain a little more insight on the characters and why they act like they do. I do wish that I could read all of the series at one time. I guess once I have them all, that is exactly what I will do.

This book picks up from where the last one left off. Olivia and Devon. Complete opposites. Can they make it work?

I found this story to continue back and forth a lot. Is Devon different when he is with Olivia? We'd like to think so, until that ending!

Olivia constantly second guesses herself, Devon is so frustrating! But all the more exciting to read about.

I can't wait to read the next instalment of this series.

This is the second instalment in Devon and Olivia's story.
Devon has deeper issues than were first apparent and tho Olivia's issues have been obvious from the first book she starts to show a strength she didn't realise she had. will these two get a chance to help each other heal the ghosts of their past or are they too damaged to ever get past it.
I look forward to seeing if Olivia sticks to her convictions and if Devon comes to his senses.

I'm disappointed. I didn't enjoy book two.

Who were these characters? They seemed so different from First Taste.

The constant bickering was too much. Olivia was upset the entire book. And besides Lex, not much even happened in this installment.

I really don't know what to think of Devon. He is so sweet and then become a jerk in a second that i feel like I want to punch him. I think a Devon's POV is needed for us to really understand what he is thinking. Looking forward on what will happen in the third book.
