Confessions of a Trash Droid: Illegal Operation: Book 2

Rate this book
They made him an offer he couldn't refuse - join the mob or watch his favorite human die.

Now T.E.D.D., the foul-mouthed trash droid who's done taking humanity's crap, is stuck juggling mobsters, mutant tech, his own glitchy anomaly, and a pack of robowolves. Blades and bullets won't be enough. Because the deadliest part of the job isn't the weapons — it's his dumb ass co-workers who make Great Grandpa GPT look like a genius.

Perfect for fans of Martha Wells, Asimov, John Scalzi, Andy Weir, and Adrian Tchaikovsky.

The novella is actually fantastic!!!

Yeah I'm back. Bet you didn't expect to see me for awhile, huh? But you know how it is I needed a book to tide me over before the next book I wanna read comes out. And just so yah know, I'm curious to see if the storyline improves. I'm actually flabbergasted the story doesn't only improve it's fantastic! I liked the fact that Tedd managed to team up with a couple of humans and Autotruck. But as a side-note I truly dislike bad guys that keep on truckin. And like I said the novella great!

The Arm.Gag

The Murder Bot series steals the fresh feeling from this series. Trash Bot is more human than I feel its should be. The writing is solid and the action is well placed and the ever changing arm gag is fun to follow, I'm still reading the series so Cheney is doing good work.

Good stuff Mr Cheney, keep it up

The adventure continues with Teddy, Sarah and a surprise guest.

It has just as much humour as book one. It ends in Sector Zero.

And so to book three

Excellent

More silliness but still a fun read... It had me chuckling... That's a whole lot better than cringing from a book full of blood and guts, death and destruction.

Kind of silly, but in a funny way. Trashdroid is a snarky anti-hero. I was looking for something light and fun, and I found it.

Lots of action; little clarity and the jokes are getting tiresome.

Funny

IF the right actor supplied the face and voice for “Tedd”, along with a mix of superior CGI and this could make a popular SF movie.

Definitely more hectic and crazy than book 1 and I was considering not continuing the series but then that ending... ffs.

I enjoyed Book One much more. I'm half-way through and feeling kinda "ugh" about the whole thing. Trash Droid needs a spa day.
