I only read this to get a preview of the Heir, and it made me more excited for the book, of course.
3 things i liked:
how it started "Seven minutes"magical almost
her reaction to her parents proposal of her own selection, i think it was appropriate
her relationship with her maid, like mother like daughter

3 things i didn't like:
her maid's nonchalance of just leaving her job to find a new one
how her brother already loves the princess of paris, i would like to know more about it
how she is no good at math, like Kiera is overlaying her characteristics onto Eadlyn

You cannot imagine the lengths I went through just to get this sampler... At first, I was disappointed because my copy doesn't contain what it says it does: the first two chapters of THE HEIR. After sending a message to iTunes, they fixed the problem after, let's say, two days(?) and what was promised was given to us.

Off to reading the excerpt from The Heir, I was really happy and pumped up with what I've read. It really made me impatient. May 5th just couldn't come sooner. With that glimpse, we can see that Eadlyn is her own person, that she's not just living in the shadow of either of her parents and with the rest of her Selection to read, I'm excited to read how her character evolves and matures, much like the changes that her parents went through.

Peace, Love and Robsten,

It was very difficult to find this sampler. The only reason I wanted to read it is because it has the first 2 chapters of The Heir.

It was released for free but only available to USA readers. Where is the love for international readers? It is incredibly frustrating that readers in the US get bonus goodies while other countries are excluded.

The two chapters of The Heir were very exciting. I am intrigued by Eadlyn and I am looking forward to her character development over the course of the new series. I am eagerly anticipating the release of The Heir in May.

This series is absolutely amazing!!! The Dwayne the author writes the series makes you feel like you are right there with them experiencing what they are. You have a love triangle between Aspen, America, and Maxon. The way she writes the series makes you need to finish the series it's just so good. I would recommend this series to girls in late middle cool and early high school. If you like fairytale endings this is for you.
