Watch her. Break her. Keep her.

I’m the monster in the shadows — but she’s addicted to monsters.

She should run when the voice calls her name.

She should scream when the orders get darker.

But she obeys. Again and again.

She wants to be good. She wants to please me.

And I want to ruin her.

When she stumbles into my web, I teach her how it feels to beg, to break, to belong.

Every filthy command. Every stolen breath. Every time she cries for me — I take her deeper.

Until the girl she used to be is gone.

And all that’s left is mine.

Chase her. Haunt her. Destroy her.

But I’m not the only one watching her.

And when the game turns deadly —

I’ll burn the whole world to keep her in my web.

Well, this was a total mindf^*k!

Raven has a stalker, one she fears will pull her into her own darkness or tear her apart. Damien, has been watching, filming, cataloguing her for years, he doesn’t want to just love her, he wants to own her, possess her soul, take everything from her whether she’s willing or not but he sees beyond what even she can within herself. Then there’s Vex she stealthy watches and waits patiently 🤭 Their story unravels, into a myriad of directions. Will his obsession win out? Will she flee from his grasp?

"ʏᴏᴜ'ʟʟ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ʀᴜɴ ꜰʀᴏᴍ ᴍᴇ ᴀɢᴀɪɴ," ʜᴇ ᴍᴜʀᴍᴜʀꜱ, ʜɪꜱ ᴠᴏɪᴄᴇ ᴀ ᴅᴀʀᴋ ᴘʀᴏᴍɪꜱᴇ. "ʙᴇᴄᴀᴜꜱᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ɪ'ʟʟ ᴀʟᴡᴀʏꜱ ᴄᴀᴛᴄʜ ʏᴏᴜ."

I really can’t even tell you how this story gets your head going in one direction for it to flip that on the head and throw a proverbial spanner in the works 🤣 I did think it started a bit slow, and seemed repetitive but then it kind of twists, so that those make some sort of sense. The spicy times are 🥵 The scary times are nail biting 🕷️, the psychological times are 🤯 I am still trying to put it together in my own head, so god help Calia writing the second book 🤣 Do read the trigger warnings 😈

In the well written ‘Little Spider’, author Calia Quinn gives the reader every chance to escape what promises to be near complete moral depravity by way of the ‘Author’s Warning’ page, ‘Content Warning’ page, AND ‘About The Half Chapters’ page. I must hand it to her for taking the initiative, after all, there aren’t many, if any, that have gone to such lengths to ensure the mental well being of their readers. Calia Quinn offers a link that provides ‘trigger w/page number’ (!!!) in case it’s only one or two behaviors that might offend—THAT is pretty amazing in my book.

Alas, if you’re like me, you welcome the fall into the gelatinous Pitch where gray has long been devoured by an ever shifting mass of darkest ink. It’s where all us dirty birds like to swim.

This book is the wildest of rides. So buckle up and hope the straps hold.

I have literal goosebumps that are refusing to go away because this book had me shaken up so bad, I was sitting wide eyed, staring at the wall for a full five minutes after it finished. This book was absolutely horrifying and destroyed me in the best way possible. This book is pitch black erotic horror, it’s not romance, it’s manipulation at its finest, done so well that our fmc isn’t be able to tell the difference. Rave got a stalker, and Damien out to own her, to possess her and to break her so he can mold her into what he wants her to be. But things get complicated when a second stalker shows up in the mix, who looks exactly like Damien. It’s a complete mindf*ck and you can really see the complexities of the mind and how the lone between what’s real and what’s fake blurs way too much. I love unreliable narrators and this was written so well because it made me feel like I was loosing my mind as well. The plot was amazing, yes quite a bit of it was smut, but everything in this book was amazing. However, in my opinion, that last cliffhanger felt a little repetitive… so it didn’t have as huge of an impact as last time, however I’m very excited to see how the second book plays out and tie their pasts together in full circle! I loved this so much, I’m still suffering from extreme withdrawals and give this a 5/5

Hello my dark little sinners 🕷️

It’s almost time for Little Spider to crawl out into the world — and trust me, this one isn’t soft. It’s obsession. It’s filthy. It’s the kind of book that will leave you begging for mercy and then laughing at yourself for asking.

Damien’s web is waiting… and once you step in, there’s no way out.

Get ready to obey. Or get ready to break.
Either way, he’ll catch you.

If you want a book that leads your thoughts in one direction and then changes the whole plot with a twist that makes you think "what the hell?!", this is the book for you.

The characters are complex and they change as the book progresses. The text was a bit repetitive but still enjoyable to read. I personally can't wait for the next part! 🕷🖤

⚠️ Warning!!! Please check TW/CW!!! Depending on the type of books you read, you may find this darker romance, or you may feel it's pitch-black ⚠️

Raven is the obsession of Damien; he stalks her, records her, follows her.... knows every little thing about her. And she's been on edge - sensing a presence wherever she goes, feeling like there's always someone there, but no one ever appears.

There is so much going on in this book that I can't say too much about it without spoiling parts of it. I liked that pieces of the story are slowly revealed, just when you think you have the full picture... you realize you don't! It's a wild ride, full of mind games and twists, creating a complex relationship between the MCs. I was drawn in by the intensity of them and of their relationship (It's called little spider, and there's def a web that's being woven). The spicy scenes are descriptive, super steamy and a little unhinged 🥵!

Damien is super obsessive and possessive, Raven is his - end of! And she's been battling her past and has learned how to survive, but is always alert because of it. They both have a past that's hidden by their trauma, and even though we do get some answers, we don't get the entire story. I need the next book asap!!

I really enjoyed the way this was written (including that amazing end note), and I'm still in suspense!!

🖤 If you enjoy psychological tension, dark obsession, and morally-corrupt characters, Little Spider is haunting, intense, and unforgettable. 🖤

🕷️ Little Spider is the kind of book you don’t just read, you survive it. It’s dark, claustrophobic, and relentlessly psychological, pulling you into a world where every shadow feels intentional. From the opening chapters, the atmosphere is thick, eerie, and uncomfortable in the best possible way 👁️

What impressed me most was how the story constantly plays with your perception. The author leans fully into those mind game mechanics, twisting expectations and making you question whether you’re being manipulated by the characters or the narrative itself 🔥🖤

The central “relationship” is toxic, obsessive, and deeply unbalanced, which is exactly what the book promises.
This is not a love story. It’s a study of fixation, trauma, and control. At no point did I feel like the text tried to romanticize the behavior; it simply forces you to stare into the darkness with the characters and sit with the discomfort

Some scenes early on feel repetitive, but once the plot tightens, the tension becomes addictive. And the twists? They hit hard, unexpectedly, and in all the right wrong ways 😵‍💫✨

Emotionally, it left me conflicted: anxious, curious, unsettled, and strangely invested even when I knew I shouldn’t be. The writing is immersive, the atmosphere suffocating, and the ending offers more questions than comfort fitting perfectly with the story’s identity 🕸️

This book didn’t just crawl under my skin…it spun a whole web around my ribs and yanked tight. The MMC? Obsession incarnate. He’s the kind of predator you know you should run from, but every command, every punishment, every whispered threat feels like a dare you can’t resist. Raven’s addiction to him…her unwilling surrender…is the most deliciously taboo spiral I’ve read in ages.

Feral energy: He stalks, he controls, he devours. And I ate it up like it was dessert.
Flirty chaos: Raven doesn’t want him…but she needs him. That push-pull, that “I hate you but I’ll obey” tension? Chef’s kiss.
Dark & twisted: This isn’t romance with roses…it’s romance with fangs. It’s obsession dressed as devotion, danger masquerading as desire.

Reading Little Spider feels like letting yourself get tangled in silk threads you know will choke you, but you’re begging for more anyway. It’s feral, it’s flirty, it’s addictive. And I’m obsessed.

What did I just read? Dark. Twisted. Spicy. Damien is a stalker, a hunter, and controlling. Raven is stalked, hunted, and submissive. Their story has so many layers, and they seem to unfold out of sequence. There is a lot of back story missing, that is hopefully revealed in the next book. The first half of the book was very repetitive, I kept thinking I was re-reading the same thing over and over. Then it got twisted and confusing and I felt lost. The very end seemed to clear up some of the confusion, but I still feel a little lost. It was a page turner, and I look forward to reading the next book. Hoping it all gets tied together and makes sense! Be sure to check the trigger warnings, it is very very dark and twisted!.

Oh wow, what an absolute brilliant book. I would give this so much more than 5 stars if I could. The story started dark and I mean dark straight from the start and just carried on throughout and left you stunned to the last sentence. The main characters were written with you constantly questioning and guessing g through out and to be honest est I’m still not sure where it’s heading but I was so enthralled I read this in a few hours.

I desperately need to read the second book so I’m going to look on amazon right now and if available I’m reading it straight away.

If you like dark and I mean dark this is definitely one for you.

DNF’d at 17% 😅 was just so repetitive! And yes I know people will tell me to carry on reading as it ‘gets better’ but I just can’t. Every time she gets a text she ‘jerks so hard she almost dropped the phone or jerked so hard she spilt her coffee’ the constant use of the word ‘force’ and ‘the reply was instant’ and how the FMC seemed to constantly ‘slide down the wall to the floor and press her forehead to her knees’ like it seems to me the author didn’t know what other words or sentences to use? Not sure, and already the FMC seems like a complete pushover, yes she’s submissive but being submissive and being a complete soft arse are 2 completely different things so yeah this book is a no from me unfortunately.

I went into this thinking it was just another dark romance and wow, was I wrong. Damien is obsessive, Raven is on edge, and I spent half the book wondering who was watching who. The pacing felt slow at first, and I admit I skimmed a bit, but once the twists hit, I was genuinely confused and hooked at the same time. The writing makes you feel the tension like a physical thing, and the way the characters interact is messy and raw. I can tell this is only the start of something bigger, and I am equal parts annoyed and intrigued that I have to wait for the next book. Some of the early repetition was tedious, but the payoff in suspense made it worth it.

Mind Blown

This author is amazing and loves the darkness. This story is long it dragged a bit for me but but whew.
Just when you have the line of site, it gets muddled. A stalker. A innocent or not so innocent. And...
Every waking moment is watched and memorized. The texts the calls haunt and dangerous. Can you love the dark and be afraid of it? Or is it that you fear yourself? Has he tapped into you deepest desires?
Oh he has priors he that why his focus is so obsessive? Hmmm then... Vex.
Story, characters, spice and angst. All tied in a Rollercoaster of darkness. Enjoy

The first 40% of the book was your standard stalker romance: she runs, he follows. The chase is on. The remaining 60% was the constant thought of, “What did I just read? I have no clue as to what is happening.” The last chapter is from Dominic’s POV, and he lets you know he’s an unreliable narrator.
So, go into this story knowing you’ll not know what is happening. I’m assuming we’ll find out more in the second book. It’s left on a cliffhanger. And a WTF did I just read?.

Wrecked and tangled in this wicked web.

Little Nightmare Duet Book 1

This book was DARK and definitely not for the faint of heart. It is not a sweet stalker romance. Oh no, this book will play games with your mind and your heart. It's taboo and delicious AF. It left me feeling uncomfortable, conflicted, and with so many questions. It was unexpected in the best way. Calia Quinn did not play when she wrote that TW list.

I need resolutions, I need answers
I cannot wait for the conclusion, I need book 2!

This is definitely a WTF did I just read book? It started dark and progressively got darker. How I didn't go into a spiral reading this like the characters in this book is beyond me. I'm so mentally and emotionally exhausted and trying to process that mind f@*k of a cliffhanger is taking a toll. I can't imagine what book two will bring, but if it's anything like book one I will be so twisted by the end.

Black as night!

Book one in the Little Nightmares Duet, Little Spider is a pitch black psychological stalker romance with horror. Full of twisted obsession and depraved taboo in the most delirious way. Manipulation, degradation, it’s not pretty, but it’s not meant to be. Quinn gives plenty of warnings, so if you decide to stay, enjoy. It was so worth every glorious moment of reading. Cannot wait for Little Scream!.

This book is filled with pitch black darkness, stalking, obsession, filth, tension, mind games and so much more. If you were wanting soft and sweet you seriously need to go elsewhere. Raven and Damien's story will have you enthralled, reading every last page to the end, and when you get there there's another book to come... Dark, deliciously gritty and sinfully wicked.

This book was definitely a page turner. You definitely need to read the intro to the book because it does help you understand what’s going on a little better. Honestly the whole second half of the book I hardly knew what was actually going on. But it was so good! Lots of twists and turns! A ton of spice! I really enjoyed this book!
