This was a super cute novella about best friend's who have been in love with each other for years finally giving in to their feelings! Roni and Nathan have been besties for 6 years. They both have feelings for the other, but both are scared to make a move. Roni takes the matter into her own hands by auctioning herself off at a bachelorette auction at Nathan's nightclub. And when Nathan realizes she loves him as much as he loves her? All bets are off.

Super cute, super spicy. I enjoyed it.

Both have secretly been in love with each other but fear that confessing their feelings might jeopardize their friendship.

With some encouragement from Roni's best friend, she decides to enter a charity auction as one of the bachelorettes. When Nathan sees Roni as the last bachelorette, he can't resist. He swoops in and wins her bid, ultimately declaring her as his choice.

This short and sweet holiday romantic comedy about friends becoming lovers is filled with swoon-worthy moments and plenty of spice—what’s not to love?

Roni and Nathan, best friends for six years and the whole time they are pining for each other, too afraid to declare their attraction for fear of losing the friendship and therefore not seeing each other again. So they regularly meet up for coffee and cinnamon rolls.

Fast forward to a charity auction and Roni is on the block, Nathan goes all growly and whisks her away. Declarations follow as does passion.

Little to no angst, great banter, no cheating and a happy ending.

The longing coming from the pages is palpable! Being in both Roni and Nathan's thoughts is my fave to read. Neither wants to risk losing their best friend... but what could they build together?!
The supporting characters and their advice and pushing is great as well. Love found family!
Highly recommend this story and all Loni Ree's writing!

This was such a fun, steamy read! I'm always weird with best friends to lovers (I think because that's one of my real life tropes 🤣), but this was such an enjoyable read. It was drama free and, let me tell you, the moment he claims her...🥵🥵!

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Nathan and Roni have known one another for a while. Nathan and Roni are best friends, when she puts herself up for auction at his club. When Nathan finds out he can't watch as other men bid on Roni. So Nathan takes Roni and tells everyone the bidding is done. Nathan takes Roni back to his office and kisses her. Then Nathan takes Roni to his penthouse where they make love. Nathan and Roni spend the next several days cooped up in his penthouse. Roni is on vacation from her office job and Nathan owns the nightclub where the auction was. When it's time for Roni to go back to work she tells Nathan she needs to get back to her apartment. Nathan suggests she come and live with him because he can't sleep without her. Roni spends the afternoon bringing her things from her apartment. Nathan heads off to work and tells Roni she's more than welcome to come by the nightclub whenever she wants. A few days later, Roni is at the nightclub with Nathan when another man tries to approach her. Nathan cuts the man off and doesn't want him returning to this club. Two months later, Nathan takes Roni back to his office and asks her to marry him, she tells him yes. Roni has a surprise for Nathan so she places his hand over her stomach. Roni quit her job at the office and now works at the nightclub with Nathan. Nathan guesses Roni is pregnant and he's right, they head home to celebrate.

The was a pleasant read when I expected it to be scorching.

Nathan and Veronica are best friends of 6 years and fancy the pants off each other. Why aren't they dating? This I don't understand. It was played out as don't want to ruin the friendship dynamic so rather die inside than let the other person know. But their friends knew of the attraction and told the main characters and still they both said 'nah, can't say anything just in case the other person doesn't like me'. When it was obvious even to a visually impaired person that these heated glances were for a reason and not undercover heroes in training trying out their heat ray vision

Friends to lovers, love. lovers kept apart for vague reason, love. Happenstance, love. This book had all the things that I love but it seemed too sweet, saccharine even. Once sex happened it tried to be dirty and came across as try hard and fake Dom/Dom lite. Then the story seemed to trail off with nothing more to say or do. It tried to inject a bit a drama which fell flat and ended with an epilogue two months later where nothing of consequence had occurred to warrant an epilogue.

It wasn't bad, but also wasn't good.

I actually loved this one! I adore a good friends to lovers, especially ones where there’s no other people from when they meet to when they give in to their feelings. Nathan was the perfect mix of attentive best friend, absolute sweetheart and obsessive man with a tendency to be a best psychotic when it comes to her. He had the control of a saint though and it took 6 years of friendship for them to give in. As soon as they did though it was nothing but smooth sailing and lots of steamy times. Zero angst or drama which was great! I also really liked how their best friend relationship never changed and their was no awkwardness between then once the relationship changed. No cheating or OM/OW drama, I *think* she was a virgin, but both their pasts were unclear, lite breeding kink, no third act breakup, dual POV, HEA and a cute epilogue a few months in the future! Hoping to get Dee and Eamon’s book!

Sweet. It had some good moments. 🌲

It had some issues though. Words and phrases became repetitive to the point where it became distracting. And, it felt a little weak overall.

During a moment of bravery she allows her other friend to get her in the bachelorette auction hosted at the club owned by Nathan.

Nathan has no clue who the final bachelorette of the evening is, so imagine his surprise when his long term crush and best friend appears up for auction. Not wanting to see her go with anyone else the protective and caveman side comes out and he finally make his move.

This book is a part of the Sold to the Naughtier List series and focuses on Nathan and Veronica. Nathan and Veronica have been best friends for 6 years. They have both wanted each other desperately the entire time but fear of ruining their friendship and losing each other kept both of them from going after what they both wanted. When Veronica gets signed up to be a part of the bachelorette auction at Nathan’s club, it finally causes Nathan to spring into action and go after his woman. Nathan knows that he isn’t willing to waste anymore time not having Veronica as his. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

This was a great friends-to-lovers romance and a fun addition to this multi-author series. Nathan and Roni have been besties for about six years but both have been silently pining for the other. When the bachelorette auction comes up, Roni's friend Dee helps her look her best to be auctioned off...all in the attempt to get Nathan to make a move, if he wants to. Of course, he does ;P These two are fire together and all those years of 'just friends' has their passion boiling over at high heat. Aside from some angst, this was a cute, sweet and hot romance for two peeps that really deserved all the love. Good fun!

2025 has been the year where I have discovered my love of insta-love novellas. I can't say no to them. Auctioned to My Best Friend had everything on my list. Friends to lovers? Check. Adorable characters I couldn't help but love? Check. Spicy scenes to keep me coming back for more? Check plus!

This was my introduction to Loni Ree. The cover, title, and blurb immediately drew me in. The story, Loni's writing style, and characters kept me entertained throughout. It was the perfect length. The characters were wonderfully fleshed out. I had enough time to really get in their corners to root them on. I cannot wait to read more from Loni, especially the next book in the series.

I really enjoyed reading about Nathan and Veronica. They met six years ago and became best friends but what neither of them realises that they both have feelings for each other but are too scared to let each other know. It isn’t until a bachelorette. Auction happens that Nathan finally lets Roni know how he feels about her. It’s really sweet how they both admit their feelings to each other and go onto live a happily ever after. I’m looking forward to reading about Dee and Eamon in the next story in the series.

Auctioned to My Best Friend is deliciously hot and such a fun novella. With no angst and lots of steam, Veronica and Nathan are the ultimate. Each secretly crushing on the other? Check. Afraid to ruin their friendship? Check. She’s smokin sultry sweetness in a slinky blue dress? Check. Does it get his attention? Check! Check! Check! I’m loving this series and this story fit right in..it has the perfect amount of spicy and sweetness.
Nate and Veronica (Roni) are best friends..they have been for years but they each have been hiding a secret… Nate is in love with Roni and she’s in love with him..both are afraid to take that next step….until Dee (Roni’s female bestie) decides Roni needs to take the leap..that’s where the auction at Nate’s club comes in.. Dee signs Roni up and Roni decides she’s tired of hiding. She wants Nate and he needs to know.

Roni and Nathan are so close to each they know each very well except for the fact neither is letting on just how much they like each other. For 6 years they hide their feelings until things explode at a Bachelorette auction.

From that point on their chemistry is intense, their interactions are really hot, and their love for each other is undeniable. I loved them together as a couple. Nate is possessive and tender and Roni is fun and funny.

A sweet friends to lovers Instalove full of spice and everything nice. Roni and Nathan have been friends forever, hiding their true feelings because of vulnerabilities. I absolutely adored when Nate realizes that it is his “Roni Roo” on the charity auction block. Loved how Roni bloomed under her “caveman’s” devotion. Full of humor, heat and lots of sweet.
