I wanted to read this because it was one of my father's books and I wanted to know more about his beliefs.
A couple of things to keep in mind. Rice wrote this book over ten years so there is a great deal of repetition in the chapters. Illustrations are shared two or three times.
Rice also fails in his interpretation of the verses in John 3 that says a man must be born of water and the spirit. He notes on at least two occasions that the water is the Word of God.
Only someone in their circles would agree with this. The rest would say that there are two births, one physical and the other spiritual.
Finally, be wary of any book that is unedited and published by the owner of the press. If someone had read this before it went to print the repetition might have been less. As it is there is not much positive to be said for the book.
