this is so fucking cute, im in love with these characters. they feel so real and genuine it makes me so happy. i loved seeing them going on dates and them slowly getting more vulnerable with each other. i cant wait to read act 3

Super Crush is Super Amazing!

As I continue to read more about Jay and Christian’s budding relationship, it brings not only funny but heartfelt moments as well. Jay and Christian show a different take on the sporty x nerdy trend that in the end, you have no choice but to root for them.

this act is also an automatic 5 stars solely cuz of my love for black yaoi + i did end up liking christian a lot more than i did in act 1 HOWEVER… i do think that big emotional moment he had during the second date was um… whiplash-y? idk if that’s the right word but the way he just jumped into trauma dumping about his childhood on jay was at a kinda unrealistic speed imo… though that could also just be cuz of how fast i read this act…. whatever anyways OOOOOUUU THEY WANT EACHOTHER SO BADDDDDD… GAY GAY HOMOSEXUAL GAY NIGGAS!!!! loved how this act got more into building jay & christian’s dynamic and how the two of em mirror eachothers arcs of suppressing their true passions and things like that… tew goodt 🙂‍↔️

(side note: DONT LET THE DATES ON HERE FOOL YOU IT DID NOT TAKE ME 4 MONTHS TO READ THIS.. i flew through this act in like 2 days back in january & then just never updated it on here cuz im #lazy but ofc when act 3’s release date finally got announced i planned on doing a reread of this + act 1 to prep for it and then did said reread these past couple of days)
