This book has touched me in every way possible, I lost my man 1year ago and 1 week ago lost my dad also. I am totally lost and reading this has helped me immensely
A very good little book of poetry and general life experiences. I would recommend this to anyone who feels somewhat lost in their life right now and needs some firm guidance.
I thought this was going to be a poetry collection about love based on the title but I was wrong. It was about hurting, healing, hurting again and so on. A journey of pain and heartache in word form. I found very few pieces relatable, and the ones I didn't find appealing I found to be lacking in depth.
Not as deep as the author's My Hope for Tomorrow. The passages were not as memorable as her previous works. Only a few made me wait and really absorb their depth. Maybe the book needed more structuring, maybe a more streamlined core theme. Something just feels off about the book. However, the book is pretty and some passages are really remarkable.
Not to add salt in the wound but I found myself cringing while reading this. Maybe because the words the author has written was like straight from my own thoughts. I mean, there are some of these words, these thoughts that at some point in my life I had uttered and kept close to my heart. Even the personal tragic loss she has experienced was quite similar to what I had experienced back in 2018.
