This is the first in a new series, and this is Kamal and Madeline’s story.
Sheikh Kamal is a powerful, ruthless, and protective billionaire CEO, and Madeline is hired to become his assistant. Madeline is determined to take control of her life, while Kamal cannot stay away from her, and she fights to resist him.
This is a well written story which has family dynamics, friendships, emotions, marriage of convenience, boss / employee, workplace romance, grumpy / sunshine, opposites attract, engaging characters, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and unpredictable, addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I just finished reading The Billionaire's Unplanned Wife and I couldn't put it down. I stayed up reading this until I finished it and I can't recommend it enough. I loved the dynamics of this book. The characters were phenomenal. I loved how they were from different worlds and how things evolved between them. The billionaire vibes are on point too. This is an incredible page turner and an addictive read. The writing is exceptional with words that flow effortlessly from one page to the next. Now I need the paperback after finishing this ebook. This is a must read. You won't be disappointed.

I really liked that the MMC was not American!
Variety is the spice of life, right?

Ms. Lemoyne always draws me into her stories, and I'm always hard-pressed to put it down.

Madeline and Kamal’s story was fun to read. Madeleine is sweet, caring, and is finding her path in life away from her toxic parents. Her mother is a piece of work who used to verbally beat her down for small things which resulted in Madeline having very low self esteem. But meeting Zoe (Madeline’s cousin), helped Madeline to gain confidence to be her own person and live life on her own terms. On the other hand Kamal is extremely cynical, grumpy and Sheikh his own Emirate. Kamal comes off as rude as he is painfully straightforward rather than being more diplomatic. Madeline and Kamal feel instant lust for each other from the moment they met. Their whole relationship is a constant pull and push from both parties as Madeline wants to be her own person and experience life but can’t fight her attraction towards Kama and Kamal is controlling and doesn’t trust Madeline but he too can’t fight his insane lust and attraction he feels towards Madeline. Even with all the distrust, miscommunications, and people plotting against Kamala, Madeline falls in love with him. Madeline getting in life threatening situation causes Kamal to realize that he too loves Madeline and genuinely wants her to be his wife. Finally after a lot of struggles, things settle down for Madeline and Kamal and they build a beautiful life together. If you enjoy reading billionaire romances, this book might be a good read for you.

This is a great book, its all about the romance between Sheikh Kamal Hafeez Shariq Najjar Shadid, who is exactly as regal as his name suggests, and his newly hired assistant Madeline, who’s job description was to help the Sheikh navigate the social aspects of business instead of his direct and forthright behaviour coming off as rude. The chemistry between the pair was practically sizzling while they initially fight against their obvious and intense instant attraction, but when they finally succumb to the building sexual tension between them well, you can expect fireworks.

The characters in the book are all likeable, even the cold and somewhat distant Sheikh, who’s history allows you too see why he might need to close himself off from prospective partners. Although there was a clear and very stark power/cultural imbalance between the pair there wasn’t really a point in the book where it felt as though the barrier it created was absolute, I loved the way that Sheikh Kamal’s family welcomed Madeline into the fold helping her feel more cemented within the family and beyond them to the country at large.

Underneath the already interesting love story is a frisson of danger and mystery as Sheikh Kamal attempts to solve a years old mystery and to protect the woman he loves and the life she carries in her womb, ultimately revealing an unimaginable betrayal from somebody close to him. Will Sheikh Kamal uncover the truth from the past fast enough to protect the future? Will Madeline be able to stand strong in the face of such a huge change in her life and the expectations placed upon her? Will their obvious love for one another be enough to carry them through despite all the obstacles they face? I highly recommend that you read this book and find out for yourself.

This was such a sweet story. I really like how the author delved into topics that some will not. It is not easy being in or starting a relationship with someone who is either a different color or from a different country, religion, ect. I cannot say I have read too many books that explore those differences but also weave the love story in a way that showcases not matter what love will always win if you want it to. As someone who has been in a relationship for over 20 years with someone that is my opposite, this book reminds me that representation matters. There are more of us out their but not many authors will dive into that due to people causing a stink about anything that goes against the norm. I applaud this author for allowing readers to feel represented in her story. I really enjoyed reading Madeline and her Sheikh. Everytime she said "my Sheikh", I swooned. She did not have to say it but she loved and was so devoted to him that she could not help making sure he knew she respected him and his position not only in his world but also in her life. He is not known to have long term relationships due to his past. Once Madeline enters his life as his assistant there are things that he can no longer deny. He truly wants a good woman at his side but he does not know how to make that a reality. I love the push and pull between the characters. They are not only realistic but it gives depth to the story. If you have never read one of this authors stories, I highly recommend you give her a chance. I doubt you will regret it.

Ambos se conheceriam apenas devido a uma proposta de emprego, mas as coisas iriam mudar quando um furacão chegaria e ainda iria causar um acidente com café e ali mesmo Kamal saberia que ela não poderia trabalhar com ele, pois a queria.

O trabalho de assistente não daria certo, uma vez que ela teria que ser forte para não cair de amores pelo Sheik e resistir aos seus avanços. Uma vez que ela precisava do emprego mais do que tudo.

Kamal possui uma regra sobre relacionamentos, com apenas duração de um mês e apenas isso. Porém com sua beleza exótica as coisas já começariam diferentes. Ela não é mais uma e ainda assim seria obrigado a conviver todos os dias. Porém quem lançaria as regras não seria ele, mas ela. Mas não seria suficiente e agora as coisas mudaram.

Agora ela será a futura princesa, mas nada o preparou pelo que ainda há por vir, mal sabia que ela estaria em perigo e que o mal habitava em que ele mais confiava.

Ele não a quer apenas por carregar seu herdeiro, mas por tudo que lhe fez sentir em pouco tempo. Não importa o tempo que leve, ela o pertence.

Mais um livro incrível da autora. Cheio de altos e baixos, muitas emoções, dramas, assuntos delicados como relação parental e tentativas de mudarem o ramo da história

This is book one in the Vows of Convenience series, and after being introduced to the sheikh and Madeline in a previous series, I was so excited to finally get their story. From the beginning, this one pulled me in with romance, tension, and an undercurrent of suspense that kept the pages turning.

Madeline leaves the US behind, hoping to escape the fallout of her family’s scandal and start fresh somewhere no one knows her past. That fresh start comes in the form of a job offer she never expected, becoming the assistant to a sheikh who needs help navigating Western business culture and social expectations. What begins as a professional arrangement slowly shifts as they spend time together and their chemistry becomes impossible to ignore. When that connection turns into something deeper, they agree to just one weekend to get it out of their systems, convinced it will be enough.

Their chemistry is far too intense to burn out in a single weekend, and when the consequences of that decision become impossible to ignore, Kamal takes control and insists on marriage. I loved how unapologetic he was once he decided what he wanted and how the story leaned into commitment rather than hesitation. The mix of romance, suspense, and cultural exploration worked really well, and I especially appreciated how their different worlds were acknowledged and embraced instead of brushed aside.

If you are into a CEO falling for his assistant, an unplanned pregnancy, and a marriage of convenience layered with chemistry, emotion, and intrigue, this is one you will easily devour.

Sheikh Kamal is powerful and lives in danger. He lives a life of duty but is constantly reminded of his first fiance's death. He is protected by bodyguards. Madeline is his assistant who is from America. She has her own emotional issues. She has to learn to live in this different culture and traditions. The chemistry between Kamal and Madeline is instant. They are very drawn to each other.

I loved Kamal and Madeline's chemistry. I enjoyed seeing Madeline in a new culture and learning the traditions. Their story is emotional and filled with danger. I love how Kamal protected Madeline. This was a great way to start off a new series. I look forward to more from this talented author.

The story had me hooked from the second chapter. Madeline's clumsiness is so relatable. I love the storyline especially her standing on her own two feet and not backing down. I am obsessed with Harlequin romance books, and this book reminded me of the ones about the Sheiks and their feisty, innocent, and “the one” FMC’s. D.A. Lemoyne is becoming one of my favorite new authors I discovered last year. Ilove her creativity and the care and heart she puts into her books. The research she goes into for her books is amazing. This book caught my interest because it was about a billionaire sheik and the woman trying to find her footing after a devastating discovery with her family. I thought the storyline was original and page-turning. I loved the instant and intense chemistry between Kamal and Madaline. He was the irresistible billionaire, and she was the sunshine that he wasn’t expecting. I laughed, got teary-eyed, and fist-pumped a few times throughout this book. I loved the drama, suspense, mystery, and angst; the spice was on point in this book! This is the first book in the Vows of convenience series. This book features Madeleine who is a very naive, innocent girl who was has left her home and family to work for a sheikh. Her family has serious money issues and she is hired to be the sheikh’s assistant to help him with cultural differences. Kamal is a very forceful and dominant man who has lots of interludes with woman that only last for thirty days. So when he meets Madeline he is hooked but she is afraid that thirty days with Kamal will break her heart. So she counteroffers with just one weekend but unfortunately that one weekend leads to consequences. Can a naive girl marry and live happily ever after with a possessive dominant man in a foreign country? This book was very different from her previous books. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters and the romance. This was a great story and fun read.

This is a new to me author and I enjoyed the story. It has a good hook and keeps you entertained the whole way through.

Kaled and Madeline have instant attraction more on Kaleds
Side. He definitely falls first but given his position and power he normally doesn’t do relationships. Madeline of course is the exception.

I liked the drama, and the small twist towards the end. I may even dare to say it has a dash of thrill?

Great book and if you love Billionaire stories this is a good one with an added change from others.

I love everything that comes from this author. I loved getting to see the other characters from the books again.

Our MC is a powerful man and Madeline becomes his assistant. He’s got a 30 day rule for any woman he’s with and our Madeline is a very inexperienced and has some self esteem issues from her parents. The backstory with her family added a nice twist. The evil person who is the villain I had pegged between 2 people and I was definitely leaning on one when it was really the other.

The way this story pulls you in with characters from different worlds.

Sheikh Kamal is closed off a cold but once you find out about his history, you come to understand why this is. Maddie is his new assistant who was hired to help him with the social aspects of his job. The chemistry between them is insane! And the way these two fight their attraction has the tension jumping from the pages.
