This is an excellent book for all woodworkers not just wood turners. The authors Liz and Michael O'Donnell, yes poor Liz was forgotten by who ever entered this book, have done an wonderful job explaining their journey of experimenting with new forms, and new finishes for the turned pieces Michael creates. Liz' artistic background shines through as the couple creates unique solutions to problems they encounter. The designs featured cover a broad range from highly painted pieces, to wood burning, use of colored epoxy, gold leaf and carving, which insures each reader will be pleased by at least one idea. Please be sure to read this book as the artistic journey is the best part!
