How To Accidentally Turn Your Hot Biker Neighbour Into a Full-Time Obsession

Posted by Anonymous at 1:02 a.m.

April 2

Here's something they don't cover in "Surviving Your Twenties 101": What to do when your new neighbour is six foot four of dangerous biker wrapped in tattoos and silence.

Spoiler: you lose all chill.

Exhibit A: Jake Savage

* Hot. Silent. Deadly
* When he talks, my brain forgets how to brain.
* His arms exist, and I was not warned.

Exhibit B: Me

* Normal coder girl, thriving on coffee and spreadsheets.
* Now googling things like “is it normal to want to lick your neighbour’s biceps” at 1 a.m.
* Wondering if forearm worship is a recognised religion.

My life used to be predictable. Now it’s a three-step cycle:

1. Jake exists.
2. I obsess.
3. Repeat.

And then, when he kisses me? Full system crash. 404: Not Found.

So yeah. Dating Jake wasn’t in my five-year plan. But apparently, it’s the crash course I signed up for.

Heads up: dating a biker comes with no guidebook and no safety net. There’s just him and the ride, and all you can do is hold on tight.

P.S. Before you panic, this isn’t going on my public blog. I’m not trying to get unalived or sued, thanks. I’ve set this journal to private. Think of it as a spiral log for Future Therapy Me. If I ever make it public, I’ll be redacting names, affiliations, and any detail that could get me yeeted into a ditch.

The Girlfriend’s Guide to Dating a Biker is a laugh-out-loud, steamy biker romance with a broody, bossy biker who doesn’t do small talk, only obsession; a nerdy coder heroine who’s just as gone for him; and enough banter-charged tension to make you also wonder why forearm worship isn’t a recognised religion. If you love hilarious heroines, found family, and protective bikers who kick down doors instead of knocking—welcome to the ride.

Take two of writing my review because my GR glitched. There is no way I’ll remember everything I just wrote but here we go.

THIS BOOK!

Look, I’ll be the first to say that I am completely bias when it comes to Nina Levine and her MC books. But when I say this book engaging and fucking fabulous, I mean it.

The way this book is written like a blog with all the thoughts just spilling out and completely unfiltered? It is addictive. It’s relatable and it’s got its hilarious moments.

Eden and Jake are hard to put down.

Eden is a tech genius. She’s neurotic, creates spreadsheets for everything and completely oblivious to how obvious her nosey sleuthing is. Oh and don’t get me on the googling everything. Girl, I have been there.

Jake is the new neighbour. He’s got the ‘bad boy’, ‘dangerous’, ‘panty melting’ and ‘can be the cause for stalking’ vibes down pat.

Eden and Jake’s chemistry is everything and the tension between these two is delicious.

I love how she completely spirals or geeks out and how he just thinks it’s endearing. He doesn’t want her to change but just wants to share her space. He listens when she rambles and she’s analysing and making spreadsheets with everything he does and says. They are just the cutest.

I absolutely adored how Jake showed his softer side. In my opinion, there is nothing sexier than a man, fiction or human, showing his vulnerability.

This book is written perfectly. The way it flows is perfect, the character development is so there and I can’t wait to see what’s next. I will also say, I am so glad we are getting another two books with Jake and Eden. I hope it’s written the same way.

I appreciated how this was so different to Nina’s other MC books. It’s refreshing and captivating. I love how the foundation isn’t the MC itself, it’s the two characters and the MC is just an after thought. Although, in saying that I’m sure the next book with be more MC focused because it’s clearly a journey and the MC is a massive part of who Jake is.

I will also say I loved seeing the OG’s again. It’s always nice to have a cameo of Storm MC and Sydney Storm MC. Especially with Scott and my main man King. Pure nostalgia. Makes me want to go and binge the two series.

I love Nina’s books. She always delivers amazing character, a great plot and doesn’t over saturate the book with spice. It’s quality.

I will say, Eden reminds me of one of my best friends. She sends me similar messages just like the ones Eden sends to Megan. The spiralling is real. I’m also sure my said best friend would say I send the same. 🤣

Massive thank you to Nina and Jodie for allowing me to ARC read.

I cannot wait to see what’s next.

Ps, this is different to my original review. My first review is longer obviously and had more things I pointed out that I really enjoyed but my brain is like a fish. I swam around my bowl and forgot. 😅

This book was hilarious!! The inter nerdy monologue of Eden will have you literally laughing out loud. Nerdy computer coder Eden develops a fascination with her new smexy biker neighbor Jake and her inter thought about him revolve around Google searches and spreadsheet creations. Jake who is part of the Storm MC is immediately attracted to Eden and finds himself loving all of her computer nerd way adorable. Watching their relationship develop was so endearing and hot at the same time. I can’t wait for book 2 of this series! Highly recommend this book. You won’t regret it!

I liked this book and the concept of the blog … it was really funny but I struggled with the way it was written. It was almost a little too much like my own brain jumping around with so many different thoughts but I found it made getting into the story more difficult.

Love the author and definitely worth a read if you fancy something a little different.

Eden - quirky, nerdy, spreadsheet-obsessed coder's world is turned upside down and rocked when a hot, growly biker moves in next door. She shouldn't have even thought of him as more than just her new neighbor, but when Jake starts looking at her like he actually sees (and likes) her in all her quirky glory, she can't help but fall, hard and fast, for him. Even when she realizes the full extent of his dangerous world, even when that danger directly affects her, she's still all in with the man. But will they make it out alive when a deadly rival club starts messing with the Storm men?

Jake had no idea that his new neighbor was about to bring him to his knees. Suddenly this nerdy coder is making him feel things he's never felt before. Suddenly he's claiming her. And suddenly now he has a weakness a rival club can use to its advantage. He knows he shouldn't have brought Eden into his dark world, but she's here, and he's not letting her go. Not now that he's handed his heart to her (even if he hasn't actually said the words), and she's in danger because of him. He'll do what he needs to to keep her and his mom safe, then they can get around to saying those words...

Back when I was reading this as a newsletter serial, I fell so hard for Eden and Jake. This is probably Nina's funniest and steamiest writing to date, and filled with tension so thick you could cut it. Eden is so funny even not purposely, and she doesn't stand a chance of resisting Jake in all his broody, forearm baring hotness. I'm really bummed this installment didn't end with their happy ever after, and I'm seriously impatient for the next installment, but I love these two so much that I don't even care how long I have to wait for more of them.

Book Name/Series: The Girlfriend’s Guide to Dating a Biker
Author: Nina Levine
Standalone?: Technically I think this could be read as a standalone, but the ending is a HFN and there are some unresolved plot points. The author mentions at the end that there will be two other books about this couple in the future.

1.5 Stars

My Opinion: Unfortunately, this book didn’t work for me. I ended up forcing myself to finish it in the hopes that it would get better, but sadly, it didn’t.

My first issue was with the writing style. Most of the story is told through blog-style entries, interspersed with a few regular chapters from the hero’s point of view. While this format was likely intended to be different and fun, it ended up making it difficult to immerse myself in the story. The constant use of lists, status updates, and P.S. notes disrupted the flow and became quite repetitive over time.

Secondly, the dynamic between the main characters felt one-dimensional for much of the book. For the first 50% of the book it didn’t seem like the two main characters had a proper conversation that didn’t revolve around how much the hero wanted the heroine and what he wanted to do to her sexually but couldn’t because he wanted to take it slow. This made their connection feel purely physical rather than emotional, which was frustrating.

I also struggled to connect with either of the main characters. The hero wasn’t terrible, but he didn’t stand out in any way either, and the heroine wasn’t my cup of tea at all (see below).

Finally, I was disappointed to realise that the club-related drama wasn’t resolved in this book. I prefer to start series once all the books have been released, and I went into this thinking it was a complete standalone. That’s not the author’s fault of course, but I felt it was worth mentioning for readers who prefer the full story. Unfortunately, I wasn’t invested enough to continue with this couple when they’re eventually released.

Hero: 2/5. Jake, a member of a motorcycle club, moves into Eden’s apartment complex to be closer to his mother who is undergoing treatment for cancer. He has some sweet moments and flashes of protectiveness and possessiveness, but overall, he felt unremarkable. I also didn’t quite get the dangerous biker vibe from him, which could be partially due to the fact that we aren’t actually told what it is his club does, apart from owning and operating a mechanic shop, or what he does for the club.
Heroine: 1/5. Eden, a senior code developer, is portrayed as quirky, nerdy, and obsessed with spreadsheets. While I think this kind of character can be quite endearing if done well, and I myself love a good spreadsheet, her personality felt exaggerated to the point that it just seemed forced and came across as quite awkward, and not in a good way. It also seemed like all she did was freak out and fangirl over everything that Jake did and then text her friend in all caps about it.

POV: 1st person POV (Eden and Jake).

Push/Pull:

Sadness: 1/5.

Explicit Sex and Spice Level: Yes. 3/5.

OW (Other Woman)/OM (Other Man) Drama: Kind of.

Separation:

Cheating: No.

Closure/Ending: HFN.

“I, meanwhile, was a hot mess looking at his d*ck. It was big. Physics-defying, rearrange-my-insides big. I think I saw God. I think She waved. And then pointed at Jake like, you’re welcome.”

Rating: 5 Stars
Spice: 3/3
Tropes: Found Family, MC Romance, Nerdy Heroine, Neighbours to Lovers, Spicy Rom Com, He Falls Hard
TW: Cancer, Violence,

This is book 1 in A Storm MC Serial.

Our FMC is Eden. A quirky Coder and all around spreadsheet queen.

Our MMC is Jake, her new next door neighbour and patched member of Storm MC.

This book let me tell you has just made it to my top 5 favourite reads of the year. It was so uniquely written and entertaining. I lost count of how many times I laughed out loud and then immediately had to fan myself because this man has THE WICKEDEST DIRTY MOUTH EVER!!!! My brain short circuited every time he said Darlin.

I loved the way Jake made Eden feel comfortable and safe in who she was as a person, quirks and all despite her past relationships.

Jake was the definition of possessive. He is loyal, funny, sweet and just the hottest man to exist. He has ruined me for all other men just like he did for Eden.

I don’t know what to say about Eden except I want to be friends with her ASAP. She was unapologetically herself and you can’t help but admire the hell out of that. Her inner monologue had my dying of laughter multiple times.

Despite this being a spicy rom com you still had the added element of danger. Another club was coming after the members women and family members. This made the story even more intriguing and had your attention in a tight grip.

Can I mention that this is my first ever romance book where it’s set and based in my home town. BRISSY GIRL FOREVER <3

All around this is one hell of a book and I urge you to just dive in. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

What happens when your possessive biker next door neighbour stars feeling things he’s never felt for anyone else before for you and you must create a spreadsheet to analyse what this means? That’s for me to know and for you to find out.

happy reading xo

Not funny, like the blurb suggested. Saw this on my Facebook feed, don't remember reading the author before, so went into it fresh. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because there were maybe two sentences that made me chuckle, her hair being a warning to the collective, was one, can't remember the other, apart from that, this was very boring.

The author crossed a biker MC story, that usually have big, bad, tattooed guys on the covers, with a cutesy hometown/job romance, that have recently had an explosion of illistrated covers in colourful blues, pinks, greens, whites etc, examples like Susie Tate's Daydreamer & Outier and Penny Reid's Bearded Winston Brothers, and it didn't work for me, unfortunately.

The repeated computer punes to remind readers she's a nerdy computer code developer were overdone, like, his smile, his look, him on a bike, in a tshirt, or just every time she saw him "caused her server to crash/overload/erase...." and her "brain to stop mathing" etc.

The blog, while an idea I've enjoyed in other books, interfered with the story here, because instead of reading the characters interactions as they happen, many are snippets in the heroine's blog after the event which meant not being able to enjoy/experience their romance.

The other big problem is that despite it saying 60 times that her hair is a mess/nest/tangled, found using the book search tool, it never once says what her hair colour is, or what length or cut or style it is. It never once says what colour her eyes are, or what her height or body shape etc is.

The lack of details is a big problem in a book, which should go without saying, because books need details so readers can imagine the characters, their enviroment etc. It's a massive problem and failure that the author didn't give even the most basic of details.

I did continue to try to read through this but it was so boring it was struggle and I had to give up a couple more times before finally throwing in the towel before the halfway point, and before they even get to any bedrooms stuff, which really says it all. Boring and basic.

This story was the best! In the very unique way of Nina Levine she brings this hilarious story where nerdy mets sexy.

Eden is a nerdy and quirky computer coder who becomes extremely invested with his new sexy biker neighbour. She literally stars spreadsheet after spreadsheet and googling everything and anything about bikers never thinking that her crush Jake aka "Savage" is also crushing for her.

Jake is part of the Storm MC and has moved into town to be closer to her sick mother. The moment he sees Eden he is attracted to her and the more he spends time with her the more fascinated he becomes of her. Her sass, smart and quirky personality calls to him and pretty soon Eden is making feel things he has never felt before.

I just love how Jake is able to make Eden seen and how they get each other so well. Their chemistry is hot and passionate and while Eden wants to explore everything that is Jake he wants to take his time with her because Eden is not just another woman, she is his woman.

Eden knows Jake is keeping secrets about his club and what he does in a daily basis but nothing stops her to show Jake she is also strong and able to handle everything to comes in her way. When a rival MC club stars causing trouble she shows Jake exactly how strong and determine she is.

I just loved this book so much, I think this is the funniest and entertaining books Nina has ever written. The characters are all lovable and the plot very unique. The mix of entertaining and dangerous mixes so well and Eden and Jake are couple goals for sure. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Introducing Jake Savage ... ovary explosion

Nina Levine is back and back with a vengeance bringing all the humour I love her for. THE GIRLFRIEND'S GUIDE TO DATING A BIKER was an absolute joy to read. I have never laughed so much reading a book. Devouring it in hours was easy, it was refreshing, and I loved the style Nine used to convey Eden and Jake's story.

Eden is a nerdy computer coder, she's quirky, obsessive, and a total mess. Her spreadsheet driven world is thrown into overdrive when a new neighbour moves into the apartment next door. Jake Savage, WOW! Could a biker be any more delicious, well besides King? His initial three worded answers, his growly growls, and his dirty mouth had me right away. Don't get me started when he says "darling" and "sweetheart" ... ovary explosion. These two have chemistry that would set ice on fire, it's intense, and their banter is incredible.

I loved being back in Nina's MC world, especially with this unique style of presenting it. I loved Eden's quirkiness and Jake's easy acceptance of who she was, he saw her and loved everything she was. Jake is a terrific addition to the Brisbane Storm men, so yes, we get to catch up with some of my favourite men, and I even got to drool over King and his deadly personality ... thank you Nina.

THE GIRLFRIEND'S GUIDE TO DATING A BIKER was a fabulous, quirky read that only Nina could pull off. I'm looking forward to more of Eden and Jake's story, who knew dropping a set of keys could bring so much laughter, hot spice, and a sexy biker into your life?

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

I loved reading this book. You are going to fall hard for Eden and Jake. You're also going to laugh a lot reading this book. So much so, your husband might think you are losing it. Eden is a computer coders. But she is also quirky and a hot mess. Now her world is about to be flipped upside down when Jake moves in next door to her apartment. He is a biker who likes to answer in three world. Growls instead of talks really and man oh man does he have one heck of a dirty mouth. I am a reader who loves a man with a dirty mouth. To say that these two have chemistry is an understatement. She is about to have an obsession in the form of the hot biker next door. I loved the uniqueness of this book. Reading there text messages was a great thing to do. Throw in a Sarah that you are going to love to hate and you have yourself one heck of a book to read. If ever a girl needs to get the attention of a hot biker she just needs to drop her keys. Now I am left wondering if I can be in my twenties again and have Jake move in as my neighbor. Run, go, now, and get the book. You do not want to miss it.

4⭐️|3🌶️ Okay, this book? Straight-up hilarious. I couldn’t stop reading.

It’s written like a blog, which makes it feel super personal and fast-paced. Eden is this neurotic tech genius who has zero filter — she just blurts out whatever’s in her head, and it’s both chaotic and painfully relatable. I was laughing constantly.

Then there’s Jake. New neighbor. Total bad boy. Panty-melting vibes. You know the type.

The chemistry between Eden and Jake? Whew. It’s electric. The tension is delicious, and I was living for every awkward, flirty, steamy moment.

Eden spirals in the most gloriously nerdy way — I mean, she geeks out over spreadsheets and rambles like her life depends on it. Meanwhile, Jake’s just quietly obsessed with her, and as she gets under his skin, we start to see this softer, vulnerable side of him. But then things get intense — rival MC gang drama, danger, and Jake stepping up to protect his people.

It’s the perfect mix of:

• 😂 Laugh-out-loud humor (seriously, I smiled through most of it)
• 🔥 Steamy tension (like, really steamy)
• 😬 Suspense and action to keep things moving

If you love messy heroines, hot protective guys, and stories that make you laugh-snort while clutching your Kindle — this one’s a win.

This book is everything new I didn’t know I needed from Nina Levine and I’m so excited she wrote it! I read it in one sitting and I definitely could read it again. All I know is I want to date a biker and not just any biker - Jake Savage. I have keys and I can drop them. He can call me darlin everyday! I appreciate his intensity but I adore his gentleness with Eden and his mum! It just gets me all in my feelings. Swoon!! Can we talk about his dimples and his abs? Plus his skills….so sexy! Jake and Eden just make me smile. They are so different but they work in the best ways. The vulnerability between them is beautiful to witness.

Eden and Megan’s texts had me laughing out loud. Sarah made me all ragey and she underestimates my girl Eden. I could be Eden’s best friend if I didn’t want her man. Sorry not sorry! I love Eden’s spreadsheet addiction. Not to mention the one she made for Jake’s mom! The Girlfriend’s Guide to dating a Biker is unique, witty and fun but also full of hot love, quirkiness, protection and everything I love from a Nina Levine book!

What an unlikely pair .. a MC biker and a computer coder ?? Who would ever think this unlikely pair would hit it off right from the start !! whether it was Eden trying to sneak peaks of Jae out her balcony or Jake watching from the parking lot of there apartment building just trying to get the next peek of Eden.

Eden has no idea what a biker does, so Google becomes her next best friend and once she starts surfing about Motorcycle Clubs the more she is intrigued with Jake. She just hopes and prays that her search engine doesn’t go PUBLIC !!

Jake, aka Savage, has moved to the area to be closer to his ailing Mum so when he meets Eden she is a breath of fresh air for him. Do they hit it off ??

With her work schedule and his life with the MC who would think these two would come together ?? Certainly not the Wine Club !!

I love it when Nina brings us a new series BUT she makes the words on the page make you think you know these two right off the cuff so you are more intrigued but these two after the 1st chapter because you need to know if this unlikely pair will be a thing !!

Awesome start to a new series !! Can’t wait for more !!

Fabulous concept full of witt, uncertainty and a need for acceptance. Eden is a nerd in the best possible way but boyfriends have so far sucked, they never understand her ingrained need to spreadsheet everything. Savage is just captivated by his new neighbour, who speaks what she thinks, appears scatterbrained but in a refreshing way that has him wanting to get to know her. This starts slow but the heat builds, it's hot, hot, hot. There are some really sweet moments, lots of fun ones and some suspense, I mean it is Storm and expected. The characters are so easy to love and I especially didn't want Savage to hurt Eden in any way, she gave him her truths, loyalty and support. For him, protecting her is the utmost importance. I smiled and chuckled, I fanned myself and fell in love with this unique and amazing couple. The writing style very much reminded me of the awesome group chats the author does in her group and newsletters and how fun they are but with the added seriousness of a full story. Nina deserves a number one with this.

I have read many MC books but none of them have had the humor that this book has. The quirkiness of Eden and her spreadsheets combined with Jake, the hot, tattooed biker made their story so different in so many ways. I have never laughed so hard in my life.
This is my first book of the Brisbane Storm men and I am so hooked on these men and their stories. Jake and Eden could not be any more opposite of each other but are perfect together. Jake is nothing like the men Eden used to date. He accepts her quirkiness and her nerdy disposition. He listens to her, he hears her and he never runs away. She makes him laugh and that is something that has never happened before. Even his mother has said she has never seen him smile like he has since he met Eden. From the first time she dropped her keys she was his. He knew from then she was unlike anyone else and all he wanted was to make her his.
This life isn’t always the safest but Eden isn’t going anywhere. It just gives her the opportunity for more spreadsheets.
Cannot wait for see what Nina has in store for this couple.

Oh so unexpectedly amazing

Eden and Jake are one of the most unusual couples to become soulmates. They both have a code of ethics that’s air tight. Hers comes from her friend Megan, her co-workers, especially Johnson who keeps her on her toes; and being a coder-living in a world of Excel spreadsheets with formulas and statistical probabilities. Jake gets his from his MC club, his mum and his life experiences. I found humor in Eden’s spreadsheet analyses, in her relationships with her neighbors and co-workers. And in how much Jake was willing to accept her for who she was-quirks and all. And despite her inexperience with bikers and MC clubs, she made a conscious decision to get to know the real man and not just the sexy biker. As a result, she learned more about herself and became a stronger, more confident woman. But be prepared because watching Eden and Jake face and deal with “obstacles” is enlightening and humorous at times. And watching the relationships Eden develops with Jake’s mom will make your heart melt.

If you are a lover of MC romance and are looking for something that has a fresh feel to it, then look no further. Eden will have you laughing hysterically from the start. She is the nerdy girl that says weird things and over analyzes everything. However it is her quirkiness that piqued the interest of Savage/Jake from the moment he lays eyes on her. Not only did this book make me smile and laugh but it also had the underlying tension, drama and chaos that the Storm MC brings along for the ride. The chemistry between these two was electric and had my heart rate elevated and my skin on fire. I loved that Jake really saw Eden and didn’t want her to be anything other than herself. Eden also shows us that when needed she will stand her ground. Their story takes you through a barrage of emotions and keeps you captivated right to the end.
As a side note this author could write a book about cleaning the shower and I would read it because her words are that enchanting but it is her bikers that will always own my heart.

I really enjoyed reading this storyline, from the overthinking, quirky somewhat nerdy Eden, who is a computer coder and lives in her spreadsheet world.

When a hot biker named Jake " Savage" moved into the apartment complex Eden relies on what she knows best.

Spreadsheets and data its how she has lived her life. This time however much to her bewilderment this strong fierce biker seems to smile and banter with her, even when she waffles on in her spreadsheets and coding language often revealing her vulnerable side.

Jake doesn't know what exactly it is with his new neighbour that has him intrigued. Is it her nerdy habit of having a warped filter like no other or her way of getting under his defences.
What ever it is it works.

The banter is humours with plenty of sexual chemistry between them and both learning how to handle their differences.

Looking forward to reading more about Eden and Jake's journey within the Storm MC world.

Calm Club? No fights, No Tears, Still Hooked!

OK, first off – I absolutely loved The Girlfriend’s Guide to Dating a Biker. But then again, it’s Nina Levine, so that’s pretty much a given. The woman could write “Biker’s Go Grocery Shopping” and I’d still one-click faster than you could say Storm.

This one was another great addition to her world – solid story, awesome characters, and that classic Nina vibe. But…. I’m not gonna lie, it was a little too calm for me. Like, excuse me……Where’s my emotional whiplash? I kind of missed the chaos, the yelling, the “somebody’s about to do something stupid” moments. Who knew I would actually miss that drama?

That said, I still loved every page of this book. And I’m really hoping this isn’t the end…. Please Nina, don’t stop here. Eden’s got those hacker skills that come in handy and I refuse to believe their story is done. I’m just saying, Nina……Don’t leave me hanging here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An easy five stars!

This was unlike any book I’ve read before in the way the story was told—and I absolutely loved it. I devoured it in less than a day!

Eden is such a quirky, fun character. I really connected with her “organised” side (I’m an Excel spreadsheet girl myself!), and so many of her lines had me laughing out loud.

And Jake Savage? 100000% pure MC-yumminess. My gosh… what a dirty boy he is—and I was here for every second of it.

It was such a treat to be back in the Storm MC world, and I’m beyond excited that we’ll be getting more of the #GirlfriendsGuide !

Nina Levine is one of my favourite authors (and people!). Her MC series is elite, and this book struck the perfect balance of laugh-out-loud moments and a deliciously growly MC hero.

Thank you, Nina, for ANOTHER brilliant read! ♥️

My favourite Nina is back. Don't get me wrong, I like a billionaire book, but biker books are where she 'excels' as an author.
What happens when a beautiful, probably nerodivergent, coding genius meets a growling biker? You get one of my favourite Storm couples. Eden was brilliant. Literally, but also kind and fierce with a very funny inner monologue. Apparently not everyone has one - what do these people think about? Are you saying, people can actually stop their brains thinking all the time without org*sms?
Jake was a great addition to Ninas collection of Storm men. He's not taken the top spot from my beloved Winter, but if you are a fan of hot bikers, steamy but organic smutty scenes that don't feel forced and a good side of nerdy geek, this is definitely the read for you!

This story was told in such a unique way.

Eden is a coder nerd (said with love, I'm a book nerd) who uses excel to sort out the millions of thoughts she has. She has lists for everything and uses code to work out the stats on life events. Then the biker moves next door with dimples, a Harley and some amazing ink. Edens brain forgets to brain, and chaos ensues

Jake "Savage" is a hot, Harley riding biker who has moved to be close to his mum who is going through chemo. He sees Eden and notices the little things that make her who she is in a sweet but savage sort of way. Nina makes being claimed by a biker incredibly appealing!

I love how these main characters have real world problems! and solve them in real world scenarios. There is no third act breakup (thank goodness), and you really get involved in wanting the best for these two.

This originally started in the Author's newsletter, and has now grown into something a bit different in terms of how it is written, and it's book one for Jake and Eden, with a couple more planned. The blurb gives enough away, and if you are new to Nina's MC world it's easy to follow, and for those of us who love all thing's Storm it's a great addition.
It's a LOL read from the start, a gradual build up to the heat, some drama and storyline which I am sure will be explored as their story continues. I loved seeing character's seen in previous books, and I absolutely loved Eden and Jake together....and yes they are up there with previous 'Favourite couple's' that Nina's created, and I can't wait for more!

"Eden...I told you, I notice everything about you" (Jake)

This is a love letter to us Storm Girls and I cannot appreciate it more. This book is everything we've been waiting for and more. The push and pull, the slow burn, the opportunity to slide back into the community we've loved the most: Storm MC. Eden is a masterfully written character that hits all of us on notes we can relate to, while also being a literal tech genius. Her anxieties are ones, I myself have had and image everyone human who has read this book and like someone will absolutely relate to. Savage is so much more than his name and yet the exact kind of human we book babes want to be swooped and loved/worshiped by. If you've not read a storm book yet, I highly recommend getting your feet wet with this one, and letting yourself be immersed into the beautiful world that Nina has created. Her writing is a gift and I'm forever grateful for it.

Jake & Eden: triggers- cancer & assault. this was not my favorite from N.L. but not the story just the writing style. it felt like a Google, copy and paste to get the word count type of book. just list after list after list and that part was very boring. I almost DNF when low and behold, the book gains a second POV and it's Jake's.... thank God above, he's not listing anything or making freaking spreadsheets. when N.L. breaks from Eden's listing and inner monologue, the story is actually good. though I have to say there's not enough of an MC presence or conflict within the story. I also felt that Eden never really make Jake work for her. she basically laid it all out on a charcuterie board. she wasn't my favorite character. so needless to say, I'm glad that's over. it's not horrible but it's not great either.

Can any two people be polar opposites but are meant to be together then that is exactly what Jake & Eden are.
Eden is the woman who lives for coding and holds that nerdy place in her heart but when one sexy motorcycle riding man pulls up to her apartment complex it’s totally game on to find out everything about him.
Jake is a member of Storm and lives his life with the brotherhood but when he gets a glimpse of Eden he knows that there is no looking any further because she changes everything he thought he had but never knew he wanted.
Jake & Eden from the beginning will have you laughing out loud and swooning with each page turn, they will deal with some danger but standing together will make them even stronger and it will definitely lead them towards that HEA.

The love I have for Eden and Jake is endless! Their story is fast paced, filled with sweet moments, delicious spice, and MC goodness.

Eden is super smart and a little quirky. I freaking love her so much! She has no filter which makes for hilarious conversations and she's so much stronger than people think. Jake is the definition of swoony. He goes from alpha biker to sweetly obsessive boyfriend. He loves everything about Eden and makes her feel like she's perfect the way she is (because she is).

These two are seriously one of my favorite couples! Their story is filled with cute date moments, spicy chemistry, an intense MC situation, and so much more. Can't wait for the next installment!!

This book was freaking epic!!! I could not put it down. I love love love all the Storm boys but there is something about Eden and Savage that I just love!! I know what it is but I dont want to give any spoilers. I love this book and cant wait for the next one to see where the story is going to end up. I like the very real very human aspect of this story and how Nina wrote it as we can all relate to it. This story had so many laughs in it that I truly couldnt wait to see what Eden would say next and how Savage would deal with her unique personality, he managed perfectly!! I always get sad at the end of a couples story as I never want to see the end of the Storm series I love it that much lol.
Please Please Please pick up this series you wont regret it I promise!!!!

Really funny, incredibly hot, and absolutely amazing!

I was completely unprepared for how much I would laugh out loud while reading this story. It was so funny!!!
Eden is an intelligent, awkward, nerdy girl who is so relatable. I loved her! She has a crush on her neighbor Jake, a protective and caring hardcore biker, and Eden has caught his eye.
Their chemistry ignited quickly and it lead to some steamy, sizzling moments that set the pages on fire. HOT!
I love the unique style of this book. It has blog-like chapters and chapters with his POV blended together. It works beautifully!
The Girlfriend's Guide to Dating a Biker is hysterical with some drama that brings back some of our favorite Storm MC! I loved it!!!

When I wasn't laughing at the chapter name's, I was getting caught up in all that was Eden and Jake. Eden cracked me up throughout the whole book and I did like seeing her stand up for herself when a certain someone wasn't getting the message that it was over.

Jake is everything you could want in a book boyfriend. He didn't want to change Eden, he was falling in love with her just as she was. He could also listen to her go on and on about coding like it was the best thing in the world.

It isn't hardcore MC but it's got enough in there so you're going yep, there it is. Showing that the MC is a family of not blood but brothers.

Jake saw Eden and that meant everything to her. I adored this book and can't wait to see what's next for this author.
