Strip clubs. Mafia bosses. Empires built on blood money. Alessandra Jones knows what it takes to survive. She aged out of foster care with no family, no safety net, and no choice but to figure it out alone. Glass House was supposed to be just another paycheck. Fast cash, no attachment. Then she met the owner. Dante De Luca runs more than Miami’s hottest club. He owns the ports, the real estate, and the silence of men who should know better than to cross him. He’s not safe. He’s not soft. And he sure as hell isn’t the kind of man a girl like her should trust. But she does. When things turn violent and enemies start circling, Alessandra has to decide what she’s really willing to risk. Because loving a man like Dante means stepping into a world that eats people alive. And she’s not planning to be anyone’s victim.
If you’re a fan of Netflix’s Beauty is Black you’ll love this book! A brilliant Stripper with military training meets a mafia don who will show her the world. Story line is amazing and worth the time!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. The storytelling was so engaging that I honestly didn’t want it to end—I found myself wishing the story would just keep going. One of the highlights for me was the twist; it completely caught me off guard in the best way possible.
What I appreciated even more was how neatly everything wrapped up. There were no loose ends or unanswered questions—the author made sure every detail had its place, which made the ending all the more satisfying.
M.N. Morant has a real talent for weaving a complete and compelling story, and I’m already looking forward to reading more of their work!
