I rate this book 4.75 stars because it was riveting, exciting and it had my adrenaline rushing through my system after Andrei had kidnapped Maya and all the way to the end of the story. It was a compelling mafia story like the majority of them are so there's that. I liked the reflection of his first wife and her sister, but never knowing the truth of what truly happened to her until something is blurted out and then everything clicks into place and the only one who saw it from a mile away was Maya and man I love Maya and that determination she has and her sense of humor as well as her morale compass, that not only Andrei to her, but also the way she worked a room, and could take down his guys or even himself he threatened her harm in anyway. These two had so much chemistry on the page that I could feel the tension coming from the book which is why I enjoyed it as much as I did.
