Rate this book
Cordelia Bolivar has an idyllic life until tragedy strikes, sending her to live with an aunt and uncle she barely knows in the quaint southern town of Savannah Oaks. Distraught and withdrawn, Cordie finds solace on the balcony overlooking the large Live Oak in the center of the field where the haunting sounds of a melody are heard. Alone in the heart of the South, Cordie slowly begins to adapt to her new life realizing the one she left behind in New York will never return. Soon, her inquisitive nature gets the best of Cordie, and she finds herself drawn into an age old battle between siblings during the Civil War . With the help of her newly found friend, Cordie sets out to right the wrongs of history and must decide if her destiny is to stay in the past with the man she loves and break the heart of her aunt and uncle, or remain in the present and leave her destiny unfulfilled. Great Read!

The story was exceptional! I would have given 5 stars it there would not have been so very many typos. The editor failed this author. I think he/she was sleeping instead of reading.

I just finished reading this one and I really enjoyed it. I have seen some ratings and comments about how weird it was towards the end and how it kind of turned some readers off, but not me. It did the exact opposite. The book does keep you guessing and wondering what is exactly going on and that is one reason I really liked it. It's like in Pirates of the Caribbean when Jack Sparrow keeps telling the truth about coming to commandeer a ship and all that jazz. He told the truth and no one believed him. This story is much the same in the way that the truth is right in front of you but it still makes you wonder if there isn't something else going on. I was not disappointed and the ending really was good. It's a sweet southern tale.

This is totally fiction, it could never, never really happen. It was a good story, sometimes we need to read just for pleasure to relax and see things in a different way. A fast read, I don't usually read this type of book. It was short, started out okay, it drew me right In but toward the end it was a little strange. The authors sure had a great imagination to put this story together. I did enjoy it, if I had I known I probably would not have read it.

Too Many Typos!

I don't know if the author did such a poor job of writing this or the text was mess up when submitting it to Amazon as an ebook. I suspect a little of both. In several places the character they were referring to had the wrong name. The story seemed too sketchy. The characters were shallow and the only reason I continued reading was because of the storyline...I wanted to find out what happened. It had good potential but lacked very little substance!

Cute story

This is a fun story that should be listed as a teen read. Except, I had a hard time reading it due to all the typos and grammar errors. This book really needs an editor to get a better rating.

Sweet love story with a time travel twist

Sweet love story. Ghosts. Time travel. What more could you ask for except maybe a longer book with more time in the past.

Love and ghosts

A wonderful book well written. Steeped with old south charm and superstition. Love is only the beginning. What a wonderful concept.
