Kids will love reading these facts. They are short and the subjects are fascinating for kids of all ages. I do think that 4th and 5th graders will love it the most- but it will definitely appeal to everyone. I have really enjoyed reading the facts. For instance did you know the Alligator Snapping Turtle wiggles a worm-like bit of flesh on its tongue to trick fish into swimming right into its mouth. When the fish swim into the turtle’s mouth, its jaws snap down on it!

Stethoscopes were invented by a doctor who felt uncomfortable placing his ear directly on a patient’s chest, which was how doctors listened to the heart at the time. He was surprised that the stethoscope amplified the sounds of the heart, making it easier to listen to!

Got this book for my 10-year-old and he loves it! The facts are short, funny, and really cool — perfect for curious kids who like learning random things. It covers everything from animals and space to history and inventions, so it never gets boring. Such a fun, screen-free way to keep kids learning!
