You find the oddest, most entertaining stuff while panning for gold in the corners of Kindle Unlimited, and such is the case here.
I loved Lost in Space when I was a kid, even if I could tell it was often silly and cheaply made as a 6-8 year old (Nevertheless, the space werewolf episode still terrified me.) But the Robot and Dr. Smith were always hysterical and there wassss this one other reason I watched:

This is a short guide to every episode of Lost in Space including trivia and rankings. I could have used much more trivia but I'm not complaining. Sherlock is also aware that this was an iconic but not necessarily great show, but at the same time he doesn't needlessly shit on it.
Like the show, this book was a fun, short diversion. AND, if you were wondering what episodes are considered the best, Sherlock ranks more than a few pretty high, including:
"The Reluctant Stowaway" (the pilot episode)
"War of the Robots" (which includes one of two appearances by Robbie the Robot)
"Follow the Leader" (which Sherlock highlights as one of Guy Williams' best performances)
"The Phantom Family" (one of my favorites too)
"The Anti-Matter Man" (Bill Mumy's favorite)
"The Keeper" (Guest starring The Day the Earth Stood Still's Michael Rennie, also one of my favorites)
Alas, the werewolf episode ("The Share-Croppers") which features the late Mercedes McCambridge gets only a 6 out of 10.
Favorite trivia: The famously terrible and one of the last episodes of the series, "The Great Vegetable Rebellion" (it's the one where Smith turns into a celery plant and no, I'm not high) pretty much wrecked the whole cast and made them yearn for the show to end. When Jonathan Harris got the script, he went to the writer, frequent contributor Peter Packer, and asked him wtf was his deal. Packer admitted in exasperation he was out of ideas.
Finally, please enjoy this supercut of the great Jonathan Harris sparring with the Robot (Dick Tufeld). For better or worse, they truly do not make them like this anymore.
