Curl up with this festive second chance holiday romance that will make you laugh and cry this Christmas.
When he uttered four words over dinner one evening, suddenly the life I had always pictured for myself shattered. In that moment, I thought Jack and I were done. Completely and irreparable done.
So, I came to the cabin to do the sensible thing. Mourn my marriage, eat my weight in Celebration chocolates, and maybe journal my way to closure.
What I didn’t plan on?
A storm that turned the road into a lake and my Ex-Husband and dog standing on the doorstep making a puddle on the floor.
Now we’re stuck together, facing the mess we made, the words we never said, and the love that we never really lost. Maybe Christmas isn’t about miracles, maybe it’s about second chances.
Raw, emotional, and intensely romantic, Twelve Days of Ex-mas is a holiday novella that will make you laugh and cry.
I loved this book and devoured it in just two sittings!
Jake and Sophie are a complete mess, Christmas is fast approaching, and no one feels much like celebrating. I followed their story with a mix of excitement, uncertainty, and hope. Both characters are warm, likeable, and wonderfully raw—you truly feel their emotions, celebrating their highs and sympathising with their lows.
J. L. Reed’s writing is captivating, creative, and beautifully comedic. This festive season, grab a hot drink, curl up on the sofa, and enjoy this charming escape to the country.
What a great little feel good hea novella! Im so glad it worked out for Sophie and Jack. Their chemistry was perfect but more than that they had so much love eachother. If you want a quick Christmas read then pick this one up! Thank you @authorjlreed for the ARC
Ugly crying at 2am? Check! Well yeah this story Will definitely make you cry at some point. I started it but had to stop, because I am an emotional mess and couldn’t keep going. Sophie and Jack are so very real that I got to see myself in them, in the struggle and the trying. Thanks for this vey beautiful story.
I loved this story! So well developed for the length of the story. Emotionally charged, but not so much that it dragged me down. Very relatable and heartfelt.
Loved the Britishness of the writing, so many observations on every day life resonated. Unfortunately I found the story dragged a bit here and there but will definitely read more from this author.
I really enjoyed this book. It’s a quick Christmas themed read which still manages to pack in the story and lots of emotions as well as some spicy scenes too!
